We've been using Field's for many years now and they have never failed to give a good, expert service. Just recently we had wheel issues with two cars and at short notice they helped us resolve them without great expense. Carried out MOT. Collected and returned car as arranged at no charge. Rang me with results of MOT and suggested I needed new front wipers - which they fitted. Advised me where I could get some minor repairs carried out. Car had been washed and cleaned before it was returned Everyone I spoke to was very polite. Price was about what I expected. Annual full service undertaken on my Mercedes E Class Estate, speedily and with the usual professionalism associated with Fields Car Centre. A niggling knocking/rattling sound when turning was painstakingly and cleverly tracked down to an extension bar tool left inside the wing inspection hatch (not by Fields!) and rolling against the wing when turning. Cannot recommend Fields Car Centre enough - the many 5 star reviews do not lie. A team of very professional and friendly folks who do a great job. They even revised their initial estimate down when they found that their initial assessment of works needed was slightly off. A pleasure to deal with through and through. As my MOT and annual service were due I looked online for a reliable garage as I was new in the area. Field's car centre came top on my research and decided to go with them. I am extremely happy with the work they did my car now runs very nice and smooth. I had to say I was not expecting to spend the amount I did as I have a small car however all the extra work was needed. The staff communicate very efficiently with me throughout the 2 days my car stayed in the garage. I had few requests they full fill and they made few suggestions. I never felt pushed to accept anything. One thing I have to highlight here is that because my car had to stay 2 days in the garage I was struggling to find the right time to collect it and here is when Field's car centre went the extra mile as they organised a drop off no even an hours before they close. I came in with an electrical problem that my usual mechanic hadn't been able to fix. Chris oversaw the work and they spent several hours getting to the bottom of the problem. I am SO PLEASED that they were able to fix it, and at a far lower price than I had expected. 5 stars, great work!

I had a warning light come on ( emission control system) on my Astra (20 years old). I got an appointment the next day and they diagnosed an oxygen sensor. Total cost under £80. They normally charge for diagnostic test but they waived this since I had a test at end of last year. I really trust them. They are a family business and reliable. You can be sure of a quality and courteous service and they are always upfront with the costs. Once I discovered them I would not use anyone else for 'unplanned faults'. If you require a planned repair ( e.g. cam belt) then you may find it cheaper elsewhere, but for all emergency repairs I would always use FIELDS. Certainly worth checking them out, you won't be disappointed!

My very low mileage BMW was giving slight problems with response when trying to join fast moving traffic and normal running. I phoned Fields as more local than the main dealer and outlined the problem. My car was collected early (very!) morning as the guy passed within yards of my front door. A couple of hours later had a phone call with the result of diagnostics and outline of solution and cost, gave a go ahead and the car was returned on his way home. Totally painless, apart from the cost, but the invoice gave a report of what I reported ,what their road test and diagnostics found and the mechanics name. The most utterly professional response and feedback I've ever had. I know where I'm going for my next MOT and service.

I've been taking my cars into Field's Car Centre for years for everything from MOT, to servicing to repairs. They are always very professional, reliable and good value for money, I've never had reason to doubt their honesty, I last took my car in to have a new aircon compressor - which is an eye-wateringly expensive part - fitted. Field's worked hard to bring the cost down, and the final bill was over £100 less than they estimated. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've been using Field's now for about ten years, that says it all really. I did try a few other Woking garages before them but nothing compares. They are efficient and professional. On booking a car in they are more than accommodating and have always worked around my schedule. Their communication however is their winning attribute for me. If there are problems with the car you are advised straight away and informed regularly on progress, all work estimates are very accurate, you are never in any doubt that they will be doing their best to repair your car expertly and as cheaply as possible. In those ten years I've never had to return any car for a recurring problem.

I went there for a full service Steve at the desk is very professional and takes time to explain everything. Bill came to £265. Did not know air filter change and brake fluid are extra. . Thus, you must ask which filters will be changed with anyone you use. I was quoted £185 at several garages but decided to try Fields based on the feedback. If you have extra money to spare then go with them. I was satisfied overall.

My local BMW dealership advised that my BMW X1 needed new brake pads. I booked the car in with Fields who already service one of my cars. Prior to the work being carried out I received an estimate. On the day, after an initial inspection, I received a phone call advising that the front pads only needed to be renewed and that the front discs should be changed at the same time and quoted a fixed price for the work which I accepted. Later in the day I received a call saying the car was ready and I when I collected It had been sanitised and fully cleaned inside and out. Excellent service at a competitive price.

Wonderful to find a local firm who gives good, honest advice. I took our 2010 diesel Peugeot in with various fault codes about the injection system, expecting to have to scrap it, and instead I got a call in the afternoon with a clear explanation of what had been done, and all fixed for under £200. Whilst having an MOT and service I was given a courtesy car and they helped fit my babies car seat. This made what could have been a daunting trip with an 8 Month old baby, so hassle free! From the phonecall to the garage, to turning up with my car this garage is all about quality service and courtesy. If you have to wait while they are serving or answering a call, they make you aware they know you are waiting .. common courtesy... You can see this is genuine. They keep you informed with any issues through the day and are prompt to let you know when the car is to be collected. Even my wife is happy to drop the car off and doesn't feel intimidated in what she says can be a bit daunting in a predominately male environment. Very professional and yet friendly. I have always been impressed with Field's - I have been going there for MOTs and random problems for about 14 years now and carried on using them even when I moved away from Woking about 8 years ago, because I trust them. Long-standing family-run business that trades on its reputation - very knowledgeable and open about the options / what it all means - I've never once had cause to doubt them in all that time. It also does no harm that they are within a short walk of Woking station so I can easily get the train to work after I drop the car.

Have used Fields for many many years for my cars, my wife's and now my daughters. Service provided has always been polite and efficient and I can't recall an occasion where defects were not fixed on the same day. As a bit of a pistonhead and a former aerospace engineer I know a bit about cars and how to fix them. Unfortunately today, the mass of electronics and age prevents me from fixing these days and I can only offer to fill the one or two yellow tops under the bonnet of the modern car. So when I am shown images of failures and have received a thorough explanation, I have confidence that if Fields Car Centre say's it needs fixing it does!

I know this is a reputable garage but I must say I feel a little disappointed with my recent visit. It certainly did not feel as friendly and helpful as previous visits. After being informed of additional routine servicing work earlier in the day I walked into Woking to see if my car was ready. This seemed to surprise your service advisor somewhat and frankly I was rather taken aback by his response. Also you made some comments in your documentation regarding my front brakes requiring checking in approx. 5000 miles. When I saw this I phoned after collecting my car to ask if that referred to the pads given that my car has only done 20,000 miles. The response was that you rarely replace only pads any more so would hedge your bets. I find it disconcerting to think that on top of my £491 service I may in 5000 miles require both pads and front discs replaced. Perhaps if you gave the same detailed information as you do regarding tyre depth and remaining tyre life I would be able to make a more informed judgement on the state of my brakes. I hasten to add that I have previously recommended you to friends and colleagues without hesitation. Hopefully I will feel so inclined to do so in the future.
