We visited without booking and turned up on a weekday after 3.30pm as it was opening and found the staff to be attentive, environment and soft play clean and working order. The cafe was good value, too. Deceptively spacious soft play area and ample sitting area for adults. Toilets, tables, high chairs were spotless too.

Play area for Toddlers is really good, everywhere nice and clean. Visit here on a regular basis with my granddaughter and daughter but was not happy with how the prices of a mug of tea had increased from £1.55 a mug to £1.95 a mug in just one hour as the staff had been told to do this by the Directors. What made it a complete shambles was they had not altered the prices on the Food & Drinks menu. This is certainly INFALTION!!!!!!!

Had a party their for my sons 4th bday. Prices were good. Staff bent over backwards to be helpful. Couldn't fault. Does get very busy at times and parking can be a little scarce. A good time had. Def would go bk

Took my 19 month old boy here today and honestly he absolutely loved it, there was so much for him to do and run around in such a open space !! Really nice place and felt clean.

Went here today with my daughter & two year old grandson. I loved, to see my grandson moving around so freely. No silly rules, adults allowed to join in and parents responsible for their own children. Would avoid school holidays because he's still too tiny. Food is good, drinks are delicious, plenty of menu choices too. 15 min walk from my house, so absolutely perfect.

Good place to go if the weather not to good, lots of space and clean,you can only pay with a card will not take money even for a cup of tea, don't think you should pay one pound for adults to go in as you do have to be with your children, paid 17pounds for two children and adults. Children loved it.

My son (aged 2) quite likes it here because they have trampolines, a Postman Pat ride and the football pitch is bouncy to run on. It is £2/3 more expensive than other soft play centres in the area but I don’t understand why - especially when places like Injoy and Jangala are much newer and less tired looking. The main criticisms are the cars on the race track never seem to be open. I have been on lots of different days and at different times but the cars have always been locked away without explanation. Also there is an area for younger toddlers that seems to be sponsored by ‘Wow toys’. It seems apparent there once used to be a range of toys in this area but over time it has dwindled to a measly 9 large Lego bricks on last count. Surely the management have the means to update this area given the extra premium they charge on entry.

Great place for kids to run around, make friends and enjoy being a kid, smaller area for little children. Football court 2 slides go carts (not available due to covid) bookable on line. Good coffee and homemade pizza cost £11.50 for 2 kids and 1 adult. This is at the moment timed sessions about 2 and half hours but let's the kids let off some steam

It's a nice place but I do feel there wasnt enough equipment for under 2 and the staff were awful. Barely cracked a smile or even acknowledge my child. It was clean and didn't smell like a lot of other soft play centres. I would return as my 10 month old did enjoy it

I'd read alot of bad reviews about hickory dickorys in Derby, about children getting injured and things so was abit skeptical about going. I've been twice now and I think the place is great. I've only been during the week and it's always been dead, which is nice as it means my little one got to go on everything and have a crawl about without getting trampled on. I can see tho how it would be abit manic if it was busy - but like all soft plays if your just sitting having a chat and not watching your children & they get injured- what do you expect! You can't blame the soft play for your lack of attention. We ordered some food and it was lovely - again I read really bad comments about the food, but our was very nice. The staff were also welcoming & friendly. The only negative I would have is that adults get charged to go in too - its only £1 but I do think its unnecessary. But I'm glad I decided to ignore the reviews as it's a great soft play, i'll definitely be making it a weekly visit.

Visited her yesterday with friends and our children, ages under 1 year, 3 and 4, was absolutely brilliant Lots of activities for all ages, tables well spaced, good hot and cold food, friendly helpful staff, liked the fact hand sanitizer bottles are absolutely everywhere throughout the building, good long time slots, loyalty card good too, will revisit very soon.

Just the right size for young children. They can explore the apparatus on their own and you can still see them. Very covid friendly as not too many allowed in at each session. Cleaned between sessions. Safe car park.

The softplay area itself is great and the time slots and availability given is much better than others in the area. However when ordering food the past two times the service is very slow. Both times the adults food came first leaving my children irritated and hungry! Baring in mind this was hot paninis coming before 2 basic children's lunch boxes. I asked twice if the children's boxes would be ready soon and they said they were very busy (whilst there was no queue) and then they did one box at a time very slowly baring in mind they were having the same items per box . Just no common sense in the staff really .

Good facilities and signage regarding covid rules, but unfortunately people still need to be educated on how to follow signs as they were just ignoring them and bringing in there own food in 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. In view of some of the comments, I was a bit concerned about going, but I'm pleased we did. Our 7 year old daughter had a great time and made friends quickly. The place was relatively clean, the staff were friendly and the food was enjoyable. The only issue was it was a little cool inside. It's strange to see so few people saying what they enjoyed rather than making comments about minor and insignificant aspects of their visit. We went there to see our kid have fun and enjoy herself and that's what happened.

Great play area and the staff were lovely however party's are so overpriced for what you get and when we got there it was a massive curfuffle and the staff looked very lost and confused. We all felt so awkward and that's not how you should feel at a party. There was a room free downstairs aswell and we had a disabled guest. our own fault for not talking the staff before hand however I noticed a free party room downstairs but no one took the initiative to go the extra mile and offer us that one. The party gifts were cheap and the food wasn't amazing and it cost over 100 pounds. Again the place is great the staff are lovely but I can't lie the party's need work.

Horrendous!! Went in on Saturday and my child was sick, I asked the young man on the cafe (who had serious attitude) for a way to clean it up, thinking he would come and help as it is his job, and he passes me tissue and spray to which I cleaned it up best I could. I then found a lady (brown hair and glasses, she had a managers badge on) that worked there cleaning the tables and explained about the sick and how I had tried to clean it up and she was amazing and helpful, she got my son a glass of water and came out with a bucket and cleaning products and cleaned the whole thing up, she also explained we couldn’t stay which is understandable as he had a bug and she asked if was son was ok. She is the reason I will be going back, she was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She treated me and my son very well and needs a big pat on the back. The other boy needs a serious talking too.

Great experience when visiting here, there is plenty for the kids to do, possibly not great for older kids (10+) but my sons and friends children (all under 3) had a lovely time. Great clean environment, friendly staff and great choice of food that is served, one of our friends sons has an intolerance to dairy and it was no problem for the staff to provide a suitable meal for him. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

Nice staff and good toddler area. However it was busy and cleanliness had slipped a bit. There was also a grown man semi conscious in the under 4's area. They would also benifit from having some healthier options such as fruit to buy.

. Didn’t use the toilets , food was good. Watch out for the mum with black hair tho and about 5 kids, they all have no manners at all they will grab your baby like a rag doll and slap your child!! ( the one with blonde hair especially) horrible child, mother needs to be banned and have parenting classes, she didn’t even say sorry for her child’s behaviour.

It was first time we have been here .it was really lovely. My grandson had his 5th birthday here the staff were all so friendly and helpful .his party was lovely. We had some food while the children played we had the plata it was really delish every one enjoyed it .would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a party or just a playtime for the children

Large soft play area. Would say its better suited to walkers upwards. Toddlers love this place. It has brilliant slides. There is not a lot for crawlers or babies. Excellent footie area incorporated within the soft play. Best seating area ive seen. If you have to get to your child quick you're not fighting between chairs. Food is good. This place on a busy day is hard to park in the car park but there is parking down the street. Its very clean. Id give you five stars if you didnt charge per adult. You know most adults will buy something from the cafe so its a bit unfair and the majority of other soft plays dont. So it works out expensive, especially if you take grandma!! 😊

Play center its self was clean and not too busy so my daughter was able to play on everything, loved the slides, paninis are lovely and childrens meals are a good size. However when purchasing a dessert i was handed a mouldy piece of bannoffee slice.This was rectified and refunded.

Play centre morning, as my six year old asked to go. Came here as the one he wanted to go to was closed. Picked as a quick internet search showed the location as quite close. Glad we came! Nice warm welcome, clean loo's, friendly staff, and cafe ok too. Kid enjoyed the slides and it was pretty quiet on a Sunday morning which was an unexpected bonus. As a rule, I loathe soft play, so must be good!

Pretty standard warehouse style soft play. Daughter had a great time at a birthday party. Slight concern over security as entrance gate was always open, allowing anyone to come and go, including children.

Good for indoor activities for kids during the cold winters. However they have limited car parking spaces and you will have to walk a long way to park in the side streets. The residents on the streets are frustrated because of this issue.

Booked a go-kart party for my gransons birthday .we was told to put shoes in a bucket i assumed they would look after them .but they was left in reception. The host didn't ask the children what food they wanted it was up to the parents to find the host & inform them. The children had a turn at the go-karts which was 1 turn only the birthday child had 2 go. After the party we decided to stay and have something to eat i ordered food for adults at 1.45 .the lunch didn't arrive until 2.30 then only half the order arrived the girl said she thinks that she gave our order to someone else who kindly ate it .i waited for five minutes then went to the counter to ask where my lunch was i asked one person who went off to the kitchen never came back to me i was left standing there so again I asked the girl who was dealing with us in the first place. Who went to the kitchen when she came back she said our order had been given to someone else apparently the tables were mixed up so she couldn't find us but we was sat at table 25 which was what I said i was sitting at in the first place . I hsd to waited until 3.05 for my lunch not acceptable wouldnt recommend to eat here when busy.

Lots of activities to explore, a separate section for toddlers with age appropriate challenges that'll keep them busy for a good while. Cafe has a good selection of foods.

A in-door play centre on outskirts of Mackworth. It's been open for several years and is very popular especially when the weather is poor. Small area for under 4's to keep them away from the bigger kids. Various climbing frame, slide, small trampolines and a small 5-a-side pitch. Lots of seating but that can be difficult to get when it's busy. Theres a cafe which can do a number of simple foods and drinks.

Had my daughters 4th birthday party held here today and the experience couldnt of been any better! The staff were lovely, especially Gemma who was our party host, very helpful and friendly. Clean enviroment, not too warm or too chilly, we didnt try the cafe but will give it a go next time as the food prepared for the children was excellent quality. The kids loved it and most of all my daughter was thrilled to pieces so that ticks all the boxes for me. Thank you Hickory Dickory's Derby!

Took my 11 month old to the toddler section and had to complain to the staff. There were older kids around 7-8 yrs old throwing plastic balls at each other. One narrowly missing my baby. The staff did not do anything about it.

It's ok. Good play equipment but the tables and toilets are grubby. No soap in the loos and this was at the beginning of the day. Much prefer Jangala for overall cleanliness
