F. P.It was my first time visiting today. Parking is a problem around this area, so walking a little will be required. Shop is petite, very clean and has a wide variety of Middle Eastern foods. Staff were very helpful and took time explaining things. Tried their Knafe and Baklavas. Also had some olives, All was very nice. I would recommend to all to try is in need of Middle Eastern food.
M. J.I learned about this new shop from Birminghammail newspaper three weeks ago. I visited it straight away and found it to be the most tasty, clean, well presented and packaged beef and chicken and well mannered Halal shop staff so far in Birmingham. What a difference to other Halal shops I have visited for past 15 years in London and Birmingham. Prices are competitive too. Please keep it up and do not get carried away with our feedbacks. We need one such shop in North Birmingham urgently. I have to come all the way from Erdington. But it's worth it anyway.
s. C.The best halal butchers for miles. They have a lot of Arabic and Turkish foodstuffs you can't get everywhere. Love the layout, the place feels cosy for a shop, although the aisles are a little narrow when you have a pushchair. Staff extremely welcoming, whole place is a pleasant experience.
I. S.A suitably well-presented and interesting shop considering the restaurants and cafés run by this company. Interesting location in Balsall Heath which is a bit different to location of cafés (Moseley, Harborne etc). You can probably find majority of these items in grocers on Ladypool Road and Stratford Road but not in a shop as smart as this one. It is also a bonus to find an in-store butcher and bakery. It says it is a souk and Middle Eastern produce dominates but you can find French biscuits, olive oil, herbs & spices from Europe and all over. I just love all the packaging. Some of it looks unchanged for decades.
