Always a pleasure to buy sweets from here. My personal favorite is the Almond Cake but I'm a big fan of their peanut biscuits as well. Have ordered some mithai, too, but have yet to try it. All in all, a very good price for the quality and quantity of goodies!

Very delicious cake I tried them many times and they always test nice any there price is affordable you can get a cake for £13 ,the Victoria cake was wonderful all my friends were asking me from where I bought it. For birthday and party we prefer Nafees and we are regular costumes.

A beautiful sweet/bakery store in Alum Rock. You can't go wrong with coming here. The mitai/sweets are freshly made daily. Very high quality & standard. I purchased 2kg mitai which came up to around £20. They don't charge for the weight of the box when in your order. They have different colour boxes; pink, blue, white. I would definitely recommend going here if you want to get a gift or something for a family or friend.

Very nice mitais and deserts. They also do savouries but haven't really tried. There is parking at the back, which is handy considering how busy Alum Rock gets. It's a little too far for us but if we buy as gifts for family and friends then we come here.

A great place to visit for all your Asian snacks and sweets. I recently purchased a cake from here and their quality against price was very good, we were well impressed with the cake and so were the little ones. They even offer frozen take home goods that you would not ally tend to buy a fresh which is always a bonus for a quick treat.

Service is nice but the sweets aren't as good as the locals hype it to be. The barfis are very densed with no actual taste despite being different flavors and colors. I imagine they don't make their barfis fresh but rather its delivered from their Bradford HQs, of course by then there's no freshness left in them when delivered in cellophane wrap. I'd sooner prefer Mushtaqs, cooked fresh here in Birmingham. Nafees despite the decades of trading you can't beat a Mushtaqs!

Excellent sweet items. They have a range of item for every occasion. They do ready made and made to order cakes / selection boxes. You can personalise cakes with messages, which they do in store. Clean and modern look to the shop.

A great range of Asian, Continental and Middle-eastern sweets on sale here. The shop has a prominent location on Alum Rock Road and its impressive frontage make it conspicuous to pedestrians and those driving by. It is spacious too with a seated area for those wishes to eat inside the establishment. My immediate impression was of a bright, modern and clean eaterie which has a distinctive appeal to it. I spoke with the owner who was friendly, professional and helpful. He managed to give us as much time as we needed while were deliberating over the tempting selections before us. The prices are competitive and we managed to take away a number of items. Needless to say everything was fresh and extremely delicious, even after consuming the food at home, an hour later. I'll be sure to pop by again next time I am in the vicinity.

I visit Nafees regularly with my mother so I thought I should write a review. Their fresh cakes are delicious and the mitai is better than Mushtaqs. The bakery always looks very clean and tidy. The men who work there have always been very polite and respectful to me and my mother. Overall I believe this branch is the best in the UK and would highly recommend Nafees to anyone with a sweet tooth.
