Older than your great grandmother. This place holds a place in time, it's a Brighton legend. Not open Mondays (just so you know). Apart from the nostalgia of my nan taking myself and my sister when we were kids back in the 90's potentially even 80's, they still pump out one of/if not the best local pies about. £2.30 a pie..... Repeat after me, £2.30 a pie. They have a great selection, Cornish pasties also and other pastry dishes sweet/savoury. Steak and blue cheese is my number. Part of the fabric of Brighton and I'm happy it exists.

What's to say ? Best selection of pies anywhere. Steak pie best I've ever eaten. If you need a big order do give them a call because basically they sell out of the most popular real quick. I think the small individuals are still obtainable early. It's not just pies they do sausage rolls quiche vegetable pie Christmas pie and pasties I think. It's a huge variety. It's off London Rd in Baker St a little shop about a hundred yards up on the left. Seriously if you like pies it is pie heaven

What can I say, the best pies I have ever had in my 23 years of living. I get the 'steak/ steak and blue cheese' one every week and each week they somehow get better. The crip but buttery pastry which protects the juicy tender steak inside. Don't think twice just GO!

This is the best place to eat in all of Brighton. Came here way more often than I should admit... Everything is delicious and I wish I could have one of their pies right now!!! Everyone recommends: Steak & kidney, Vegetable, the dessert pies, the Christmas pie (a seasonal one), and then there was one with bacon that everyone said was really good but I didn't try... Why this place isn't the #1 in Brighton on all those sites online I will never know. Until it is, it'll be the best kept secret in Brighton

This is the best steak pie in the world and I'll fight anyone who doesn't agree, iv been going in there since I was a kid and to this day every few weeks we get about 4 steak pies that don't last a few hours, amazing food.

The best pies in Brighton. Shortcrust pastry makes them practical to eat on the move. Friendly staff. Only word of warning is to get in there as early as possible while the press are still warm. My warm pie was fantastic - can’t wait to try them piping hot. Or take them home and heat them up!

Best pies in Brighton and possibly the UK! And great value for money! Highly recommend! My only gripe is that the pies are not stored in a pie warmer but I guess that means when they're hot they're extremely fresh! If only they could deliver internationally...

Good lord, I love these pies! Steak & ale and cherry custard are special favourites, and they're cheap as chips too! No day in Brighton is complete without a trip to Bangers. Nothing makes me happier than eating them by the sea. A proper Brighton institution - keep up the good work!

Simply the best pies south of Rugby. The proper short crust pastry is nothing like the bendy stuff of other shop bought pies, and the fillings are divine - especially the steak, which is large rich pieces of beef in a thick gravy. Then, to top it all, they sell them for just £1.80! Get one hot from the oven and you'll never buy a pie anywhere else.

I have been going to Bangers since my father would take me when I was a little girl! I am now taking my children there for there simply stunning, home made delicious pies! There is one reason this shop has stayed running so long!... that's because you can not get a better pie in Brighton! It's simply the best pie shop in town. Thank you Bangers for being the best! :)

Amazing pies freshly made daily. Staff are helpful ( retard calling them rude ahahhahahhahahah ) fun and easy to deal with. Great value for money. Not surprised they have an international customer base. Call your order in before you turn up to avoid disappointment

Simply the best pie shop in the Brighton and Hove area, I've been getting these amazing pies for years, since I was at school, the pastry is epic and the wide range of delicious fillings gives something for everyone, the fruit pies are to die for as well but one of the pies I look forward to the most is their Christmas pie, it's amazing, this place is a must, plain, simple and perfect, 5 stars isn't enough, should be 10.

Those complaining about the service should go back home to Hove...Get over it-! .This is London Rd. for Christ's sake and the pies are as good as any you'd find up north......arrive early though as they sell out by 2 pm every day
