Cherry Danish was really nice and moist. Reccomend the garlic scotch egg. full of flavour. So good ate it before I got a pic

We had a load of lovely scones for our cream tea. While picking them up I spied in the window a tray of fritters! Haven't had one since I was a kid. Have looked for them with no luck. Most don't know what I'm on about. Had to get one and it was delicious! Many thanks to all at bakers corner!

Good old fashioned working bakery. The best fresh bread daily. A really good selection of cakes and filled rolls and not expensive. They also do cold meats and the ham is the best anywhere

WOW - had a delivery last weekend and what a lovely surprise it was. SUper bread, cakes and pies and now I have just read that they do fritters - not seen them since Mountsteven's stopped trading. We will be back for more.

This is one of the very few traditional bakeries left in Bristol. A real little gem that most people just drive buy on their way to Central Bristol. Location on the A420 it should be perfect for the commuters. Fresh oven cooked cooked meats, bread, cakes, filled rolls, pies and pasties all made and cooked on the premises. The open plan will let you see the "Working Bakery" if you get there early on a morning before the bakers leave after working all night. There is also an Occasion Cake department which is ran by the granddaughter of the owner (family!!!) examples of which can be seen in the window. Check them out and support a trade as old as time before the big corporations take over!!
