We couldn't recommend Laura enough! We fell in love with her cakes as soon as we took the first bite! We tried several flavours and because we loved them all, we decided to have cupcakes alongside our small wedding cake. We only wanted a simple design, so we sent a couple of pictures and Laura put together the perfect wedding cake. All of the guests also commented on how amazing the cakes tasted. Communication was simple and easy with Laura, she always made sure she was thorough when asking what we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better service, so thank you so much Laura!

The cake Laura made for our daughter’s wedding was superb….. but then we knew it would be! It looked beautiful perched on its table at the top of the stairs waiting to greet us as we entered the dining room. The cake is always an important part of the celebrations and this was glorious - thank you so much. On Saturday everything came together perfectly, and we can’t thank you enough for making a perfect day even more special.

I am so so so pleased we picked Laura to make our wedding cake. She was an absolute delight to work with and our cake was not only stunning but was absolutely delicious. Trying her cake samples were a highlight of our wedding planning and the wedding cake was even tastier. Laura was so thoughtful and messaged us with a slight design tweak the week before our wedding when the forecast ramped up to highs of 34C… temperatures which are a challenge for any buttercream cake and I think it looked even better for the tweak. I really appreciated how thoughtful that was - to ensure our cake looked it’s very best even on a scorching day! And lastly Laura is just a pleasure to communicate with, she’s passionate about her baking and a lot to love goes into her cakes. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Our first order from Laura's Kitchen Cakery was for Valentine's Day, and a plant-based peanut-butter tart for my PB-addicted wife! I contacted Laura with a long list of specifics and she was back to me with costings in no time (which were very reasonable). The cake - oh my goodness! It was such a hit that we actually contacted order Laura's KC about a second order before we'd finished the first! This time it was HUGE retirement cake for my Mum (which needed to be gluten free). We asked Laura's KC to come up with something creative and the result was probably the most beautiful cake I've ever seen! Laura had created a chocolate ombre cake. Again, the price for such a professional looking cake was fantastic. We took the cake to the retirement party and it recieved lots of 'oohs' and 'aahs'! Every time Laura has been in contact, the experience has been both personal yet professional. She really takes the time to listen to the needs of the customer and the result is simply fantastic. It is wonderful to see such a creative and talented local cake artist, who I'm happy to support with many orders!

Absolutely amazing wedding cake! Laura baked us an incredible wedding cake which looked amazing and tasted out of this world. I'm so glad we were able to choose and sample the different types of cake for each tier of our 3 tier cake. Laura even introduced us to Hummingbird Cake which we fell in love with and had as our bottom tier. Our guests really enjoyed the cake too. I would highly recommend!

I first enjoyed Laura's delicious cake creations on my birthday this year when my husband ordered a box of bespoke and beautifully decorated cupcakes. They were carefully boxed making them easily transportable to share between family and friends on a surprise day out. They were a highlight of the day and made it extra special. We were so pleased with Laura's service that I asked her to do another bespoke cake order for my mum's birthday. Laura offered helpful guidance and suggestions whilst being really open to new ideas and flavours. She baked a Lemon and Elderflower cake with a naked icing decorated with fresh edible flowers. Laura created the most amazing birthday cake for my 2 year olds party which was a Hey Duggie theme, so you can imagine the reaction of the children! She also made cupcakes as The Squirrels which were just brilliant! Laura was incredibly kind to me when I was trying to organise a surprise 21st Birthday party for my son whilst he was in lockdown at university in Bath and we were at home in London. Having seen Laura's work on instagram only it was a little bit of a gamble but hands down she exceeded all my expectations and the students all said that the cake was totally delicious (they didnt even notice it was gluten free). I have to add that our stunning cake was also achieved during the Mothers Day weekend when she was incredibly busy so even more respect for this talented working Mum. This was my wife's response to recently completing the drip cake decorating class: I recently enjoyed one of Laura's drip cake decorating classes. It was a session that babies/children could come along to and it was really welcoming, relaxed and well organised. Laura had a play area set out with toys ready for the children to play with. I had my 8 month old and four year old with me and there was plenty of space for them to occupy themselves as well as time during the session to stop for feeds and toilet trips! The class itself was really informative and hands on with lots of helpful tips and insights. Laura is a great teacher and really supports you as you try out new skills. You definitely leave feeling more confident and eager to have a go at home. My four year old also had the opportunity to get involved and managed to place most of the decorative chocolates on the cake without eating them! He felt very proud of our final cake and was even more impressed with the taste! As a stay at home mum this class was such a breath of fresh air, enabling me to get out, socialise, stretch my brain a bit and feel like I had achieved something and done something new. I would definitely love to take part in another class in the future! Thank you so much Laura for a fun, relaxed and enjoyable morning. It was brill!

Combining all aspects of his life todate, such detail and artistry excellent. A second cake with two tiers was also perchased another toblerone and then a baillies salted caramel. Couldn't say which was my favourite they were so delicious .
