Can not praise this company enough! We were let down the day before my dads 70th birthday party from our original cake maker. We rang this company the day before the party pleading for help. They were absolutely amazing!!!! We spoke to a guy who traveled to his shop to get the cake ordered and made overnight. We collected the cake two hours before the party and to say the cake was amazing was an understatement. I think even better than the original one we ordered. It was a real show stopper. The cake tasted gorgeous, the nicest cake I’ve ever eaten. We will never use anyone else for all our cakes for the future. If I could award 10 stars I would. Thank you so much 😊

We visited Nafees in Cardiff during the opening on Saturday 08/10/21 There was an amazing atmosphere, an absolute buzz of excitement that hasn’t been seen in Cardiff for a long time. It was great to see so many happy customers and staff. The desserts are exceptional, you can taste how fresh they are. The savoury items such as samosas and pasties are warm and delicious, tasty but not spicy. You can buy personalised birthday cakes and take them away almost immediately. Always handy when it’s your job to sort out the cake. Everything looks tasty and inviting . You will be spoilt for choice !

The level of service and support we had from Saquib and rest of team was awesome. Saquib, took his time spoke us and our family so welcome as just pop in the have a look after listening to him abs for what he had to say. We thought you know what his customer care to us was so lovely, we walked out with Birthday was one of the best cakes we ever tasted and value for money was well worth it. As well we ended buying other sweets and other gifts for the family. We would highly recommend anyone to try and restaurant also pop into the shop to look at the lovely full range of variety Asian sweets behind the counter. One must say I am fussy when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness but this shop was immaculate. As I did not feel that I was cringing of anything thing at all. As we give it 100% thumbs up as this best now for us to buy from. You have a customer for life, one more thing to the team well done and keep up the good work. Well known UK franchise. One of the best places for Asian savouries, sweets ( Mithai ) and pastries on Cardiff's busiest road. Their own branded frozen box of chicken tandoori samosas are absolutely amazing. Everything Halal. Reasonable price. Polite and friendly staff!

Ordered near £80 worth of mittai to take over to guests near Burnley. Asked for them to be packed in their branded card bags, which they packed the mittai inside reluctantly. Then they asked for money for the bags. I mentioned that I've taken less mittai in the Burnley store and they never ever charged me for the bags. Both staff members froze like robots with no response. Mentioned that you should be looking after your customers. No consideration given at all. Wanted to put a order again next week for a wedding but honestly I'm so annoyed and put off by their service, will now be ordering mittai in Burnley store and pick up on the way. Very unprofessional service, always fall back and say is how the manager has instructed us. Management should consider having self service machines instead of these staff members as they clearly have no customer service etiquettes. P.s. also gave me mittai of the display when they said they would give me fresh mittai from the back when paying deposit. When questioning he mentioned these were made in the morning which is false because they even said when ordering they order in the mittai every Thursday and Monday. Be honest brothers. Which one? ************************* ************************ In response to the owner/manager a gift bag is not made out of plastic and a retailer can choose not to charge for paper bags. If your staff members mentioned that by law we have to charge for gift bags then I would've refuted that on the spot. But they froze! Also on both days visiting the store I saw customers not being charged for plastic carrier bags??? This accompanied by the experience I got from the Burnley store I felt the need to express my annoyance and therefore uploaded this review. P.s mittao was good so updated to 3* I will also now leave it up to the readers!

I went to the opening of Nafees on City Road and got to taste some of the lovely things they offer. Whilst we were there I bought my daughter a chocolate celebration cake for her 16th Birthday. The cake was a decent size and at £25 very reasonably priced. I have a large family, but thought I would have a lot of cake leftover due to the size! Not a chance!!! People who don’t normally like chocolate cake (including myself) commented how nice the cake was!! 4 people went so far as to say it was the best chocolate cake they had ever tasted!!! Will definitely be buying another celebration cake from there again!! Thank you!

We had breakfast, Tea and halwa was super sugary. Parathay and eggs etc are not made. A bit pricy for the portion and variety and for the fact that it is per head so can't customise freely in terms of numbers. Chanay were good. But you can get same taste, and a slightly less portion from Chaiwala across the road with nearly half the price and better sitting place. Will not recommend for the breakfast. But they do have best sweets and smosay (frozen). That's why 3 stars.

First impressions are WOW, Superb variety of Methai & Savoury’s . Staff were welcoming and also knowledgeable of available products. Personally found them to be professional and attentive. The supervisor recommended the breakfast Halwa Puri with Channa. A choice of T was also available with the breakfast so decided with traditional Pink tea. I visited the Cardiff branch yesterday to order some Mitai for a wedding coming up and was extremely impressed by the variety of different asian sweets they had on offer. I was greeted with a smile which is a big thing for me by the staff. A man named Adil (I think that's his name) took on my order and spent his time going through the ingredients on some of the sweets due to my dietary requirements. The process was smooth even though I was undecisive on what sweets I should order. The prices are very competitive and the sweets taste very authentic. Not to mention the mango lassi and kashmiri chai is a must try. This is exactly what Cardiff needed 👍

Went to the newly opened bakery yesterday and oh my what a delight.i didn't know where to start from. The bakery is full of delicious bakery stuff and also mithai. So glad we finally have something like this in Cardiff as we were always having to go to the bigger cities before to get our hands on some good quality mithai. It has some seating inside and outside so you can have some treats in store like samosas, chaat, pakoras etc which is handy. Cannot wait to visit again soon.

The sweets were good however the halwa puri was awful! The portions were too small and two puris per box cost £8 which is not worth it! Nafees bakers is Cardiffs much needed asian sweet shop. They've got a large variety of delicious mathai, cakes, pastries and more. If theres anything negative, its the requirement of COVID face masks in Wales shops not being adhered here. Response to owner, Hi, thank you for looking into my concern and replying back, I've checked the website, it states pubs, cafes and restaurants, which is understandable while food or drink is being consumed at the premises, but from my understanding being a Nafees customer myself, the business is similar to that of Greggs(where face masks are still being required) where food is taken away to be consumed/ eaten out, therefore its only in the best interest and well-being of your staff and customers during this pandemic to adhere to face coverings rules where/ while food and drink ain't being consumed. The sweets were good however the halwa puri was awful! The portions were too small and two puris per box cost £8 which is not worth it! They need to increase their portions for that price or make the food worth that as I stupidly ordered …
