U.A massive 10 out of 10 for service, spirit of helpfulness, and positive ‘can-do’ attitude by East Bergholt Bakery, and especially Eddy, who really and literally went that extra mile to deliver a birthday treat to my brother. Truly appreciated Eddy - thank you! A great selection of freshly baked savouries and cakes - the scotch egg went down particularly well indeed with my brother, happy chappy!
s. c.A lovely little bakery, providing the community and tourists with a wide range of bread, cakes, filled rolls and sandwiches made to order, sausage rolls and various other pasties and pastries served warm or cold. You can also pick up some local honey, jams, eggs and ham.

Very tasty selection of hot and cold savories not to mention all the various cakes on offer here.
The staff can make you a roll of your choice with the filling of your choice including bacon egg and sausage if u want a hot filling.

M. N.Magnificent. Diverse and ever changing range of cakes, ace bacon subs, corking home made pies and all at a good price that is warranted given everything is fresh and home-made. Not forgetting the really friendly staff.

D. H.The food was very nice and for a reasonable price, however I don't think that it's acceptable that staff handled my food along with the card reader without putting on/taking off gloves.
I don't agree with food being handled without gloves on at the best of times, but even less so when the same person has been handling money and a card reader as well. There should either be a second person taking the payment, food should be handled with gloves on which get taken off to handle the payment, or ideally food should only be picked up using tongs. Not sure about going back for this reason alone.
