This is my second time at Beefcake and the quality was consistent and phenomenal both times. I got there right at open on a Sunday morning and they were fully stocked and still adding trays of pastries.

Fabulous sausage and black pudding breakfast, excellent vegetarian options too. Went back a second time to try the pastries - absolutely awesome. But the final word has to go to the fresh baked morning rolls - so good they have to be tasted to be believed

Really friendly staff and high quality brunch ✨💕✨ brought three dogs with me and the staff were really lovely to them too, would highly recommend!

Beefcake was recommended to me by my son. He said the pastries were amazing and said to get there early as they sell fast.
I visited them arriving at 9:50 a.m for a takeaway.
Was not disappointed. Ordered spinach and ricotta rolls and almond croissant.
Absolutely delicious.
Will Absolutely go back and this time sit in for a breakfast.
Staff very friendly with a quick service.

Excellent local café with plenty of outdoor seating. They have the closest thing to specialty coffee in Anniesland - they hit the sweet spot for most: excellent quality espresso but not too sour. The pastries are very good, especially the savoury ones. Sweet pastries are on the "too sweet" side (for me) but can't fault their quality and the locals clearly love them as they are always sold out. Shame they're only open for 16 hours a week!

Best cafe in Glasgow. So lucky to have it in Anniesland. Everything is made fresh. Friendlyz welcoming, family run cafe.

This is the most incredible little cafe. I have had a variety of their brunch items and have never been disappointed with what I ordered. They do all their own baking and the cakes and bread they make is incredible. They also have fantastic coffee on offer here. Perhaps the highlight of the while experience however is the staff. All of whom are extremely friendly and welcoming.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast or lunch.

A cute, quirky wee cafe with a welcoming atmosphere, home baking (including bread), and a menu that changes weekly. Decor is sort of sunny retro. The upstairs section adds useful extra space, and there's an outdoor seating area that's set back away from the main road, so not too noisy.
Coffee portions could be bigger, considering the prices, and they have that 'quirky cafe' problem of small, retro crockery with large, modern cutlery that is too big for it and consequently (if you're like me) ends up getting knocked onto the table or even the floor.

Omg what an amazing place staff were lovely freindly. Its dog 🐕 freindly if they are well behaved. Food and coffee amazing. Everything made fresh. Cakes were delicious will be back

Really friendly staff, nice ambiance, and truly outstanding cinnamon rolls - best I've ever had. My breakfast roll (veggie) was really tasty and excellent value, and my coffee was ace too. Highly recommended

A real gem of a cafe. The best cinnamon buns I think I've ever had, super friendly staff, really great crockery and presentation and good prices. Heartily recommend the sweetcorn fritters and avocado breakfast. Wish I lived locally to visit more often.

Amazing place for food and coffee, really friendly staff. Love it here. Got the salmon and scrambled eggs and wife had the avocado poached eggs and toast that was delicious
A. M.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere and great breakfast food! Was disappointed by the chocolate and hazelnut bun - the bread part had a horrible aftertaste, not sure if maybe it was a sourdough bun? Don't think sweet fillings go with sourdough at all.

Everything was delicious and everyone so friendly. Never a nicer place. Happy to have moved in just down the street 😉

My husband and I saw this place and decided to try it, we never stop eating there now. The food is always great.
C. M.
Amazing food. Unfortunately, the chef doesn't make house calls.
L. B.
A firm favourite, their sourdough is incredible! Fantastic offerings kept us going through lockdowns with weekly trips to pick up our orders.
M. R.
I got a cappuccino and a incredible almond croissant. This people have great baking skills! I also tried and loved their sourdough bread and pies.
I. C.
Not sure I could have survived lockdown without beefcake. Every weekend proving a sourdough loaf. Then every weekend a growing brown bag of other stuff. Bagels (excellent) cinnamon buns (normal and vegan)... The best ever. Also amazing ginger cake plus a growing weekly list of amazing stuff. Also always providing my Saturday morning coffee. Also had breakfast.. Equally amazing... I usually go with poatch eggs.. Love this place

Personal down to earth service is so lovely and refreshing. The food is simply brilliant. Depth of flavour with subtlety unusual tastes. I love this place. We may well have moved from Glasgow a little earlier if it hadn't been for Beefcake!

I came across Beefcake and safe to say, I was highly impressed
I had the vegetarian breakfast bap, sausage rolls (both) and other variety of pastries. Excellent work by the chef/s, will definitely visit again!

Went in here entirely on spec before meeting up with my son...I had an hour to kill.....I honestly had one of the best coffees I've ever had......the menu looked interesting and it sold beers and cocktails!!!!..I had to leave abruptly as my son was earlier that expected (there's a first) so didn't get a chance to really look...so a return visit is in order. 5 stars for the coffee..and the grub and beers experience awaits.....

Consistently good food, friendly, and accommodating of special dietary requests. Coffee is great. I see someone here complained about the size of coffee cup/price ratio. Personally I would rather have this great quality coffee in a small cup over a bucket of cheap nasty stuff. Nice place.
D. S.
Great coffee (and I know what I'm talking about when it comes to coffee so I don't know what one reviewer is saying that the coffee needs to be improved), friendly and attentive staff, have only tried the Sourdough toast and the Croque Monsieur so far but the former was fresh and crisp whilst the latter was was full of flavour and texture. I like the use of the old tea services and the enamelled dishes, they add to the uniqueness of the place.
E. B.
The best bakery in Glasgow! Best cinnamon buns you'll ever taste, and their brunch menu is incredible - you need to go!
D. G.
Food is good, the coffee is meh, staff are lovely (especially the two tennis playing boys). Nice to have the place in the area. If they got better coffee it would definitely be a 5 from me. Best Croque Monsieur I have had, the BLAT is great and a the few other things I've tried have been good as well.

The food here is amazing, staff are lovely, and it's great to have such good quality, artisan coffee in Anniesland. Hope they can open for longer hours soon.
D. B.
It's brilliant! The owner makes his own proper sourdough bread and other pastries & lots of other delicacies! Also, just got evening alcohol licence, so glass of wine in order! A bit of a gem in our neck of the woods (Anniesland cross/top of Jordanhill) so do check it out!!

Wonderfully delicious food from a family run business. You will leave whilst planning the next visit.
They make going to other coffee shops and café quite difficult to return to once you've been to Beefcake for the first time.
Engaged as well with the world, compostable coffee cups!
Faultless!

Always a pleasure to stop in here. Usually very busy but staff are accomodating and the food is delicious, both from the sit in cafe and their bakery. Great tasting coffee as well.
D. S.
My favorite spot! The food is high quality and some of the best I've ever tasted. The coffee is delightful, it always hits the spot. And the staff are the most wonderful people!
R. M.
Lovely place to meet up. The smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls hits you as you enter. Great coffee and the cinnamon roll was delicious. Staff friendly. Great wee gem.
M. E.
Not sure there's enough ventilation as you come away smelling of food as it clings to your clothes. Not keen on the cumin flavour in the avocado, it overpowered everything. The orange & cinnamon pastries are amazing especially if you're lucky to get them straight from the oven.
J. S.
Collect available Inc these beauties. Looking forward to getting back to full menu
H. J.
Went to the Beefcake today and had an amazing Sourdough and avocado based dish with freshly squeezed orange juice on the side. Really unique and all round great place. Best place around!
A. W.
Sells the most delicious hand crafted pastries and sourdough, fresh from the oven. Staff so friendly and helpful.
R. W.
Great cafe with a lovely upper seating area looking out over Anniesland cross. Sourdough bread is amazing, as are their breakfasts and cakes.

Very interesting and well cooked food from a quite small menu, being really more of a cafe than a restaurant .
Very pleasant staff .Actual service quite slow when busy , as during lunchtime, but well worth waiting for !!
Very good value .Very worth a visit !!
