I. Y.I stumbled across these bakery. Bought 3 different kinds of buns and a sesame seeds bagel. Amazing cinnamon bun, apple crumble bun too. I will eat the orange and chocolate bun later. What a lovely friendly people in there? Definitely will go back next week with a friend.
J. S.Fun and friendly service and the bagels were possibly the best we’ve ever had. Fresh fillings. Amazing chew. I would have shared a photo but it somehow felt naughty to capture something that pleasurable on film. Grabbing one to eat in the park is going to become my new lunchtime ritual.

The aroma of fresh bread, mingled with the sweetness of warm cinnamon buns, hooks your senses.
Yuri bakes bread, cakes, savouries, each one more enticing than the last. Yuri chats away, while kneading the ingredients. Just watching him craft, and create, brings an indescribable feeling of serenity.
The sourdough, is the real deal, the cheddar and garlic bread, has large dollops of cheese woven into it. The rye bread gives your jaw a workout. He makes a bread, using the deliciously tasting non homogenised milk, from Mossgiel Family Farm. Today I had a mushroom, cheddar, and truffle oil tart. Quite honestly, I've never tasted anything like it elsewhere.
Cakes, biscuits, brownies, all made daily on the premises, make this the one of the best bakeries for miles around. I travel 7km in each direction, to get my supplies.
Yuri is from the Ukraine, and has mastered the "art" of baking the perfect bagel. None of the soft doughy imitations that are ubiquitous. These are like the bagels you got from the Jewish delicatessens that used to be in Glasgow, but even better.
A mug of their coffee, and a bagel in either hand lets you feel that you are in the continent.
The one downside is that the Deanston Bakery is only open Wednesday through to Saturday.
Whether you are local, or from farther afield, this is "MUST VISIT!"
J. R.Been here many times & they never disappoint. A friendly local bakery with delicious bagel & sandwich options, cinnamon buns, and bread loaves. Be prepared to queue as it's very popular but well worth the wait.
