The best bakery in the area. Good range of sandwiches and breads. The bread is especially nice. Staff are very friendly and professional. The food looks good and tastes great. Parking can be difficult when it’s busy because you have to park on the main road and walk up. If the bakery is busy and it’s raining, you might have to stand outside and get wet. Only reason it drops a star. But for the best bakery around, it’s worth it.

I love the cottage bakery as the workers there are cheerful and understanding even of my deaf family. One of them is so good at lip reading that her and my dad always have a conversation. The cottage bakery is a great place to get your morning sandwich!

What a fantastic bakery !!!! Just about the only place left that makes the famous Yorkshire scufflers ... I live over 30 miles away but don't think twice about travelling to buy some. The sandwiches are great too.

It's hard to find a pasty that's not mostly potato . But here the pasties are lovely,the eclairs are enormous ,sandwiches are made with nice bread and tasty filling

We use the bread from the bakery at the Oulton Raiders ARLFC and the amount of compliments we get about the bread is amazing! They have also started to take card payments which makes it easier!

Parked in the wrong place and got the wrath of the staff, it seems. Waited so long for service in the end I got nothing. It appears it's a brilliant shop but stuck at the back of a private road with feisty neighbours.
