Reviews of Al Kareem Sweets & Bakers London
a.
I like their breakfast. It is very tasty, especially the Halwa and the paratha bread. I wish if they add more options to it and to have a less spicy option. Their samosa is so big and tasty. Prices are convenient.

What an amazing breakfast experience! Lahori breakfast and puri/ paturas( thick and soft puri)are made infront of you. In my.oppion Chana recipe can be bit better as it had too much tomatoes. Pure Khuya and multiple sweets and cakes avilable here. Parking wise, evenings and weekend is free.
Taste wise, puri can get dry if not eatten freash but patura was soft and full filling.
Staff were attentive and down to earth!
Mango and sweet Lasis were to die for💖
I gave 1 star less because of small space inside the shop, which is not big deal.

Amazing food with super fast service.. Had heard that the place is usually quite busy so went in at around 10am on Saturday.
The place is not huge and has got seating space for around 20 people seated close to each other. Once seated, the staff was quick to take the order and came back with the food in a flash.
We ordered plate of "Chhole Pathure" along with Kashmiri tea. Chhole Pathure was served with Potato curry and Halwa.. The meal was delicious and so was tea.
R. H.
Halwa puri breakfast was okay lassi was delicious seating was bit tight and limited capacity as all the tables were joined up, overall 8/10 for me.

Experience of picking up the weekend specials including Halwa Puri :
Quite simply ...horrific. If your ok to wait an hour for your food whilst you stand outside then go for it . Alternative option is to order via Uber eats. The staff are rude because by the time they receive enough abuse for the delay from customers they start advising customers to cancel the order and provide the refund. Only after taking your money ofcourse at the beginning and promising you it will take 15 mins.... . They know they have this issue every weekend but they continue to operate this way. It will only take one alternative provider to provide the same type of food and they'll be crushed.
On the food front there is no hiding of the fact that the spicing of the curries , the softness of the puris ( albeit being super oily) , and the sweetness of the halwa is probably some of the best Pakistani breakfast I've had in East London. Im not Pakistani so that's saying alot for my appreciation of the food.
You get a lot for your money which is £6 per portion for 3 Puris, onion pickle, potato curry , chana and halwa . It can feed two honestly . However there is no hiding of the fact that the indoor restaurant is below standard, not suitable for families , staff and service is one of the worst. Credit to the chef and the flavour connoisseurs but that could change over night if they leave or if someone else does it.
Your time is limited if you don't look after the sanity of your customers and you carry on torturing them during the weekends.
Friendly advice here . Photos attached for evidence.

Great serve and freshly made. Cleaning is bit poor. Staff nice and trained and helpful.
Some tip for improvement.
Make sure they are using gloves
Table cloth using same on all table which is not acceptable
Glass for water were not cleaned and need to sterilise along side the spoon 🥄 and folks.
Been from West London to east for breakfast.
Tea was fantastic.
Parking is an issue but not on bank holiday and weekend.
Week day hard to get the parking.
Overal giving them 4 🌟
a. m.
The weekend morning breakfast is wow. Called pori-porshion. Though is verry oily bt test is good.
I truely recommend it. Bt the khasmeri chai wasn't that level.
K.
I love their Burger and Pink Chai. As usual everyone like Halwa Puri so I love it as well 😂
I am not happy with customer services they provided some times, as staff got bit angry 😡 or taking too long to give sweet/food. But still with visit every time.
Highly Recommended ☺️😉
T. K.
Best halwa puri in London. Great taste. Fast service. Dine in and takeaway both available. Also they have sweets and lassi. Lassi was really good too. But halwa puri channy were best
T. S.
Went here on Sunday for breakfast: chaana poori halwa and went again today for shammi kebab.
On both occasions the food was terrific, well cooked and highly enjoyable. I could have been sitting in a Karachi cafe or restaurant as the food was that authentic.
Even bought Pakistani biscuits and sweets and once again it was like being 'home'.
I hope that Al-Kareem is able to expand and double the size of their current shop thereby allowing them to add even more Pakistani foods to their menu.
Will be back again one Sunday soon for breakfast.
I. A.
BEST HALUWA PURI - Always loved their breakfast - chole, haluwa and puri. This is the best haluwa one could ever have. The service is fast and pleasant, but they have only three tables arrangement, if anyone wants to dine in would have to wait during rush hours. One could try their Kashmiri pink chai. Otherwise all their items are fresh and delicious.
W.
Best place to eat poori/pathory in east london. Negative is that Halwa is too much sweet. Price wise slight expensive
M. W.
Best halwa Puri in London usually available Saturday and Sunday only. Bit busy so might have to wait after the order but worth the wait.
Z. C.
My experience was delightful.
As a Pakistani finding good halwa Puri is very hard to find. I came quite early on a Saturday and the experience was lovely. No rush.
If you come in rush hour anywhere it would be expected you would have to wait.
They make their lassi using cream of milk which is quite rare( as most places use ice).
That with the hot halwa Puri was my go to.
I think compared to najeena this is a smaller establishment but prioritizes a higher quality in each of its dishes.
Definitely recommend and would go again.
P. P.
Halwa puri is up to the mark! The staff who guide to the table can be very rude sometimes and ignorant. While we are eating they asked to finish up and free their table so others could eat! Which was very mean and they then acted as if they are only requesting and we are the ones who are being mean by enjoying their food and not finishing it all at once. Disappointed at their hospitality. Although the uncle behind the counter is always nice. This was their staff who wait the tables.
k. s.
Nice Halwa Puri, really nice. The potato curry is a bit towards dark colour, wish it was yellowish and with less oil..
A.
Best Halwa Puri!
(£5 for 4 puris, small portion of Halwa, portion of potato baji, a medium portion of chick peas and a pot of achar)
Portion size - 10/10
Taste - 10/10
Customer service - 10/10

BEST HALWA PURI AND KASHMIRI TEA IN WHOLE OF LONDON !!!!
Trust me when I say that !!
They only do it over the weekends and bank holidays, highly recommend this place for eating in or takeaway
H. A.
Quality halwa poori, the best in London. Portion sizes are awesome and taste is unbelievable!!! Must try
O. S.
One of The best halwa puri in the UK. It is a must try if you are nearby. The halwa, tarkari, puri were unbelievably good. They also serve lovely Kashmiri tea.
s. a.
In taste it’s too good i love halwa puri and service also very good.
The only thing I want to suggest is sitting area is to small and i have wait so long to be seated.
S. W.
Definitely the best Halwa Poori in town. We particularly liked their aloo curry that is served with halwa poori. Very small place with long waits so best to get their early.
N. K. J.
Best pakistani breakfast, good portion sizes and lovely staff.
S. A.
Despite the size of seating have always reveled in their efficiency and quality of food, a true taste of the classic Punjabi chole bathore or halwa puri. With the pandemic they have a strict takeaway policy and they dont cut corners there. Reliable and recommended to all!
Suggestion for customers - place the order/pay over phone limiting your time to wait to be served as they will hand you the order promptly.
S. H.
Absolutely amazing place to have the famous Pakistani breakfast, Halwa Puri. Kashmiri Chai is a plus.
H. K.
Love the breakfast of Halwa Puri
K.
The taste of sweets are amazing!! So much variety too. The staff working there and manager are lovely, very friendly and helpful.
n. a.
Being a true Lahori and love for food, the only taste closer to home is at Al Kareem. Specially there Puri Chunay, Halwa, Lassi and Green tea are amazing and shouldn’t be missed. Don’t believe me.... try it once yourself 👌🏽
B. T.
Portion is of big size, food is of good taste, not better then others i have eaten from.
Owners look friendly as they were respectful to the customers, waiter was really rude. Three stars because of the rude waiter.
F. k.
Great halwa, good prices does get very busy on Saturday morning. Some of the sweets are decent rasmalai, chocolate burfi.
d.
My god this place does the best halwa puri and chana and aloo with achar, I was truly amazed, I promise you will love it, I also had a glass of lassi with malai, everything was excellent quality and taste fresh.
T. A.
Best desi breakfast also sweets are authentic and Kashmiri tea is really good
a. m.
Loved the Halwa Chana Puri good Food might have call them beforehand especially on weekends to avoid Long Queues...
Excellent Staff and Authentic Pakistani Sweets....
L. H.
Used to be the best but definitely dropped their quality in the last year. Not sure if the chef has changed or just cut backs. Place is always busy on a weekend during breakfast so expect a wait.
Guys there are always friendly and polite.
B. R.
Excellent shop. The mithai is priced reasonably, they have a range of barfi's, the cashier recommended mango barfi, it's very good.
T. A.
Best Halwa Puri place in London. Definitely try sweet Lassi when you go
N. N.
We normally have the take away halwa puri, which is lovely. However, today we were able to enjoy it as an eat in and it was so much more delicious, everything served piping hot and just perfect!!
D. A.
These were perfect! Got taste of lahore in london. Esp Kashmiri Chae was so good.
S. H.
Best place to have halva Puri breakfast
m. w. A.
Amazing weekend breakfast, never had this quality in this price in my life in the UK. Halwa was never and option for me in breakfast or any other time but since i have tried their one...wow. The dahi balla was really rich. Good quality lassi and tea.
S. I.
Overpriced, food is OK. Prefer pathora than pori.
W. S.
For authentic flavours and taste one must visit, tasty halwa pori.
S. S.
Great breakfast place to visit. Keep up the great service.
S. Z. K.
Great halwa puri, lassi & kashmiri chai. 10/10 would recommend A1 A++++
b. a.
Always yummy can't wait to go back.
A. R.
Best Galway Puri Ever. Gave it 4 starts as the establishment could do with working a bit on Decor! Great food cheap prices!
D. C.
Best halwa puri in London
M. W.
Great halwa puri, but seating is very tight and you've to wait long to get a table. Please somehow try to increase seating
I tried pathura this time and it was awesome
S. M.
Very well organised considering how busy it was. Breakfast delicious as always.
Y. H.
Lahori Halwa puri taste in London / Ilford at Romford Road
S. S.
Very good bakery with helpfull staff. All sweets and sold freshly made and very tasty.
But the star of the show is Halwa Puri. You can buy a set for £5 which comes with 4 Puri's, portion of hawla, channa, aloo bhaji and achar. The portion is very generous but it is no doubt the best halwa Puri I have ever had.
It don't live close by and it is about 45 minutes on bike ride each way. But that is not issue to get this tasty treat.
F. S.
Busy and tasty! Halwa Puri tithe way it should be done, the best in East London; now they need to find a bigger location!...
J. J. K. B.
Had an amazing time there: the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Although, it's a bit small therefore people have to wait in line to get their turns for eat-in.
M. A.
Great halwa puri and pink tea breakfast
A. K.
Ordered Halwa Puri meal, it was very tasty and well packed for my takeaway order. The food arrived still warm enough to eat and our Kashmiri tea was still hot. Overall good quality service and food.
M. M.
It's quite busy place and only in Manor Park which serve halwa poori (altough only weekends). Very nice customer service and sufficient system of taking and preparing orders. I am not Asian so can't give my opinion on the sweets but pooris are nice. Definitely would recommend try pooris if you never tried them before.
G. Z.
I m their customers for about 8-10 years, …always fresh food and very professional service, never had a problem with them.... I believe they are the best in east London for Halwa puri, sweets & bakery items. Also it would be unfair if I don't mention the best lassi in the menu... HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!
H. A.
Best breakfast, sweet and snack place in london by a mile. Highly recommended. Clean, helpful staff with quick service and great customer service at there heart. I go there atleast 3 times in a month. never disappointed me .
Q. J.
Loved the food whenever I visited, like their pathora and sweet lassi with malai is the ultimate. Their new Egg burger Bring back memories of student life of Pakistan. Well done to the owner who work hard and keep introducing new food/products which you can see every time you visit the shop.
R. S.
Loved the weekend halwa pooreee
M. A.
Ordered takeaway puri chana with halwa. Very tasty.
T. M.
Food is good, buy service is very slow especially at busy times like Sunday mornings.
F. M.
Tried it for halwa poori breakfast today. It was ok. I still prefer Nagina.
O. T. T. G.
This is a fantastic shop which does authentic Asian sweets and savoury snacks. The staff are very friendly a genuine shop run by a genuine family. The prices are reasonable for me the signature item is the kashmir tea.
M. R.
The second time we have come to this place I live near lakeside and still came for the food and the service is amazing really clean the staff are really helpful thank you too zohaib amazing really recommend
F. S.
If you love your Pakistani/ Indian breakfast then you don't need to look any further. Halwa, puri, chanay and variety of sweets. You will be spoilt for choice. Staff and managment is great. One need to que up for a bit if you are not early means around 7:00 am Saturday and I believe 8:00 am for Sunday. But the food is really nice and fresh and is not to miss.
A few tables to serve customers but the space is tight. Takeaway is the best option anyways, as they make sure to pack it really well for you. Overall a brilliant place and is must to visit.
S. H. D.
Love the halwa puri, good quality of food.
Staff are amazing
M. K. (. m.
Best halwa pori in town, the only drawback is that they don't deliver in my area i.e E16. Mithai is very good and patties too.
A. M.
Freshly made authentic pakistani style halwa poori breakfast. Reasonable rates.
M.
Best lassi in town. Halwa puri and choolay taste average. I only go there for their sweet lassi. Expect upto 30 min waiting time in the queue on weekends.
M. Q. H.
Best place for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
W. K.
The best halwa poori and kashmiri chai in London. Quick service and friendly people
F. A. M.
I liked the luchi and chana there
M. S.
Amazing halwa puri taste. Reminds me of Pakistani authentic taste.
M. B.
I went for the weekend breakfast. Some places that you go, the food is so good that you can forgive any other shortcoming. The decor might be blah, the seating a little too cosy, the queue longer than you would like, but all is forgiven. This place wasn't even on my radar, now I'm trying to find excuses to go back.
We sat down and there was no menu - they do one set and do it extremely well. We ordered our food and it was in front of us within 5 minutes. The food was delicious and the service was stupendous.
I would have happily paid twice what I was charged. This place is worth it.
S. D.
Absolutely gorgeous food with unmatchable prices. Lassi was the cherry on top.
U. S.
Best halwa puri
R. B. B. W. B.
Nice duck cakes,Italian pizza 🍕 😋 👌 😀 👍 😄 🍕 😋 👌 😀 👍 😄 🍕 😋
S. H.
Nice sweets and good pakistani breakfast
R. S.
Had halwa, puri, and channel. It cost £5, which was okay and they obviously have a few customers for the same thing, because it was already made up, so the service was good. Just far too greasy.
F. M.
Best for Weekend halwa puri Nashta
A. A.
Ordered their halwa puri. One of the best i have ever had, their halwa is the best!
I literally remember the same taste of Pakistan's halwa puri. The portion is also nice!
Highly recommended!
S. I.
Great place for halwa puri. Seating to eat in but not family friendly
S. B.
Excellent taste, no words, maybe better than Pakistan in quality.Highly recommended.
M. V.
For a typical traditional Pakistani Naashta-
I must say it was a Brilliant Puri, Chana and Halwa with Kashmiri Chai:-)
And the best part of it was that All the staff seemed to be experienced in the needs of breakfast clientele who, like me, are drivers Always in a hurry:-))
Only once I've been, Today, and would highly recommend Al-Kareem for their breakfast menu. I sat at the far end Table One...
C. A.
Love the halwa puri
W. K.
Best halwa puri and cheap prices.
A. x.
Al kareem never fails to disappoint me and that's something i love about the place. Their staff is well-mannered, their food is really nice and tastes amazing. I love coming here but my favourite food from here are the pastries. Overall i definitely recommend buying their food and their kashmiri tea is also worth buying.
H.
Excellent service and food at very reasonable prices.
Family only comes here for weekend breakfast. Never been ill from the food, unlike some other Pakistani restaurants. Food is always fresh and cooked in front of you.
My only recommendation: Get more tables and chairs.
R. K.
Delicious food with good price and quantity then any other high street weekend Asian breakfast.
I like their service, so quick and manageable. Great people with great honor.
S. B.
Super prompt service despite their business and reputation on the weekend.
Amazing food, seriously. Lassi was insanely good. The halwa Puri and chickpeas were very good, even in comparison with food from back home.
F. A.
Halwa Puri is the best in the UK and I can authoritatively go beyond and say better than what you get in Pakistan.
The service can be shambles but the taste is amazing. You will find people yelling over each other but that adds to the authenticity of the place.
Finding a parking space can be a challenge due to the location. There is a small parking lot opposite the restaurant but can get very busy especially on Sunday when it is free.
A must try. Very cheap. Breakfast for 2 costed £13. Only available in weekends.
d. k.
Hands down the best halwa puri I have tried outside pakistan..... Top quality..... Highly recommended.....
r. k. m.
Sweet was delicious, I will go again to have chat marsala and kasmiri tea. people are awesome and ready to help.
A. A.
Great service and food. Clean place with 5 star hygiene rating. The most amazing halwa puri in the whole of east London couldn’t recommend this place enough.
A. K.
I have only had the Halwa Puri breakfast here and it is delicious. A really authentic Pakistani flavour to their food which makes me travel over an hour just to get breakfast on occasions. I would also highly recommend the Kashmiri pink tea which is also really nice.
K. V.
Poori was good with Chana, and halwa
I. R.
Come here on a daily basis for my fix of kashmiri tea.. Hands down the best in East London. I've been told they do the best traditional breakfast on the weekends with queue's stretching around the corner.
K. A.
Awesome halwa puri for breakfast. Queues out the door and probably the busiest takeaway / small restaurant in ilford.
6 of us went in for a halwa puri breakfast. Had a short 10 min wait for some seating. The shop isn't a fine dining experience but more of a small cafe style.
The portions are average but food is very good.
I would highly recommend the sweet lassie. Haven't had lassie with real mukhan in the uk before. I'd go back just for that.
Be prepared for a wait as the place is very busy on a sunday morning.
S. S.
Too good to be true. We can't wait for the lockdown to be over so we can eat there again. The service is amazing as well as the food.
N. M.
Excellent sweets and savoury foods, great service and friendly staff.
Their weekend breakfast is so good that people queue to get in and they serve it until the afternoon.
Their samosas, sweets and kashmiri tea are the best I've tasted in a long time. Highly recommended!
Z. A.
Eat in halwa puri is best. Takeway however is not worth it.
I. J.
They do authentic traditional Pakistani breakfast and sweets. Their puri Halwa and Chai are excellent out of everything.quite busy on weekends I wish they would everyday breakfast. Recommended place
R. K. (.
Laddos kalakan and channa puri are delicious
M. U.
Went there for breakfast this weekend, after being recommended by my friends, about the authentic chana and bhaturas, and lassi.
Man was it worth the trek of coming to east London for this. I might come every week for the rest of my life now. Reminded me of the breakfast back home. Only thing missing is some aloo parathas.
N. K. V.
Great food great service! The biscuits we got were soggy and stale. I would avoid buying biscuits but amazing food! They need to make more space for people too. Very clean place and fresh food! Amazing Pink Kashmiri tea and very tasty fresh lassi (yogurt drink). Have not seen any place as clean as this. Even the staff are very clean and tidy.
S. M.
Beautiful tasting weekend breakfast. They have a set breakfast package which they don't believe in customising as per the customer needs. I think they should swap items or the portions of the items of this package. Another thing they need to sort out are the take away foil boxes they use. These boxes get squashed and break easily if you take a take away. Also these foil containers are very harmful. They should consider using plastic boxes. Everything else is brilliant.
J. O. K.
You don't need to go to the "name brand" Ambala or Nirala to get your mithai fix. Al Kareem have the same top notch quality, their Malai Jamun is the best I've had in a long time
S. A. M. A.
Elite desi nashta. Best in London?
r. r.
MashaAllah, the breakfast is amazing , really unique taste, flavour , quality ! It’s the best what you can choose !!! Enjoy with your friends and family this delicious food ! I highly recommend with confidence 👍👍👍👍👍
H. K.
By far one of the best places for a traditional breakfast. The halwa is to die for! The place is very organised, clean and proper. The service is nice which adds well to the whole experience. On top of that, the bakery is just so good! Al Kareem really do it all! Would definitely recommend!
S. S.
Nice halwa puru
B. W. (.
their halwa pori is amazing they just need to sort out their management skills because after placing order you have to wait atleast 20 minutes even if you call in half an hour ago so I hope they focus on putting a better que system to deal with customers apart from that it's amazing
K. A.
Best place in town for halwa puri breakfast, specially love the halwa bit. They also sell traditional Pakistani selweets, less number of seats available so most probably take away is better option. No parking what so ever so be careful and plan a head before your visit.
M. A.
Best patoray n halwa puri in London
N. G.
Best Pakistani breakfast in the area. Their halwa, puri, chana are great freshly made. They have a wide variety of sweets and kashmiri tea. Definitely a must if you are in area.
B. K.
Great food.... especially the halwa and puri! But very very busy so expect a long wait. Parking is right and limited nearby, so may have to walk a bit.
Inside seating is cramped and usually shoulder to shoulder, and even the take away line can test your patience; but the food is definitely worth it!
E. A.
the only thing i will review about is weekends Halwa Puri, an amazing place to have this breakfast. very big portion for £5. remember the breakfast finishes at 3pm so be quick to have it before 3.
M. R.
Halwa puri is amazing on a Sunday breakfast but very busy. Advise to call them first to order
A. H. S.
Waited for an hour in queue but the wait was worth it. After craving for a long time for proper Lahori nashta finally I had some. They should expand their sitting area so that more people can enjoy their food.
D. Z. H.
Awesome lahori breakfast on the weekends, very reasonably priced and tasty filling food. Great service every time!
R. C. (.
Amazing sweets and favourites. Although I didnt go there personally, my partner brought Samosas which was so delicious, never found such delicious anywhere else and besan laddoo are so awesome 💋💋💋
A. R.
Halwa puri was nice, due to covid only 3 people allowed inside shops, customers awaiting outdide shop were not even wearing face masks.
R. W.
Really good, clean, and nice people. They’re sweets is perfect. Well done!
P.S: they’re Keer is lovely. You should try it, you want be disappointed.
M. A.
Please do not visit during busy hours as there is no proper queue management. No one from management appears to be concerned about dangers of Coronavirus as they are too busy making money during the Eid days.
m. n.
Lahori taste in LONDON, I love Halwa Puri and lasi. Taste remind me of Lahore. Thanks to Al Kareem
S. T.
Best halwa puri in town! Also the prices are quite reasonable. The seating area is a bit packed but, I still prefer this place for their good taste/quality.
U. P.
Went for their Sunday Halwa Puri breakfast which is delicious!
Limited seating available so if wanting to be seated, be prepared for long waiting times and ushered off the tables by waiting staff as soon as you finish eating.
s. s.
Very nice sweets and weekend breakfast. Best in whole london. Friendly staff and management. Must try . They are on Uber too.
8.
Bespoke Mitai shop. Great quality and different taste compared to Ambala and Nirala.
They also do a excellent Pakistani breakfast on weekends. Queues are normally out of the door
Recommended.
A. A.
Best Halwa Puri in Town. I was used to go Nagiana but Al Kareem is way much better in quality and quantity. Very reasonable price. I loved the Cocount pink biscuit as much as my kids. The Chaat is really very delicious. Highly recommended
a. a.
This is by far the best Halwa Poori you’ll find anywhere in London and I had been trying to please my tastebuds for almost 9 years by looking for something similar to what I would call the best Halwa Poori in Pakistan;
Hassan Din Halwa Puri at Ada Pasruriyan, Sialkot.
The Halwa Poori at Al Kareem is delicious and cooked and served by professional and friendly guys and that too at a bargain price of £5.00 with pickled onions and potato gravy.
L. M.
Famous for Pakistani breakfast on weekends. Fresh and tasty halwa poori and pathoura. Busy place. Congested seats and small seating area. But still worth trying
L. M.
Best halwa puri
H. S.
Halwa Puri is amazing here, but the main waiter is a bit dodgy, make sure you double confirm what you are ordering and also the total.
Not family friendly either.
M. K.
Best place to go for Pakistani Vegetarian breakfast ..
A. S.
Amazing place for a proper desi breakfast! Food freshly cooked in front of you whilst you wait. Lovely staff and clean surroundings. Definitely a place to try out :)
K. N.
Excellent breakfast. Excellent kashmiri chai. Excellent customer service. My friends referred me here for breakfast and it was great. If you're into pakistani breakfast, this place is worth the try.
K. A.
Wow tastes amazing, only criticism is the Paratha is bit too oily
S. A.
Must visit place for traditional Pakistani Halwa Puri on weekends.
They also makes nice sweets ( Mithai) and cakes.
Parking can be an issue, so try using public transport.

Best place for weekend pakistani halwa poori breakfast. Sitting capacity is limited. My favourite dish is lahori pathura with channa and bhaji.
M. A.
The guy at the till no smile no nothing.
But I love my pink chaai and some desserts.
But some people will never change please brother next time smile thank you.
A. A.
No one does better halwa puri and lassi than these guys.
N. G.
Oh my, if you not had their Deshi breakfast you definitely missing out. Halwa Puri to another level. The fresh Indian dessert (technically Pakistani) is yum too.
I. S.
Halva puri is absolutely delicious and its taste is amazing just feels like you're back home
U. R.
Halwa puri is their staple, absolutely worth the commute and wait. The service is also good, staff are friendly. Seating is limited. Saturdays are better than Sundays as the line up can be out the door.
s. s.
Excellent customer service and absolutely divine halwa poori. Yes it's a busy place with limited seating but the staff try their best to accommodate you. Mithai and bakery products are also freshly prepared and taste divine.
S. I.
Good quality sweets and snacks. Also have eat in facility. They also serve traditional Asian breakfast. Only negative issue is parking is not always available.
A. F.
It is our go to place for desi breakfast.. they have amazing semolina dessert (sooji ka halwa) and tasty curries to go with poori...Yum! Wish they also do karak chai.. nevertheless highly recommended!
u. m.
Tasty Asian Sweets, cake, biscuits and Halwa Puri (every weekend). If you have not tried this place then definitely try it.
M. R.
Lovely nashta, lassi was awesome. Pink tea is also good . Not very good sitting arrangement. Very long wait if you have to eat in otherwise nice food.
D. R.
Puri and chhola, toooooo good. If I had bottomless stomach, I’d probably still be munching on them right now. So so good.
Also, very friendly staff, make you feel very welcome
I. s. a. T.
The food at this place is soooooo good especially the halwa puri. I recommend everyone to come here!
A. R.
Taste was good. Location is no so Romford road is always bad in terms of traffic. Parking an issue as well. All in all taste wise it was good.
W. M.
Real Authentic Taste and Excellent Customer Service, Best Halwa Puri in Town. Highly Recommended.
k. i.
This place is known for their weekend breakfast, traditional South Asian breakfast, quick service, very cheap, fresh food, everything is made in front of your eyes in the morning, if you ever go there you should definitely try their yoghurt drink, breakfast with yoghurt drink all for Fiver, believe it or not free chickpeas or potato refill, be ready for calories bomb
F. R.
Nice options for traditional Pakistani breakfast along with tasty parathas. Bakery options very good too. 5 star
M. B.
The best puri halwa available in United Kingdom. A food lover will give them 5 out of 5 star. There heart is big and they are entertaining everyone without friendship customers are focused first. Will definitely recommend my friends come down from Glasgow and there first demand is Halwa Purée of Al Kareem.
R. P.
Halwa poori breakfast is very nice specially the halwa and Lassi.. staff is also very friendly.. if u can make it by 9 or 9:3am then seating is also not a problem.. and service is very quick..

U. M.
Excellent service and very friendly staff as well Very Good Muslim people I love them God bless and show me Right way as well
H. S.
I've been a customer here since they've opened. Previously a fan of Ambala, however since using Al Kareem I've come to realise just how poor the standards are in Ambala. The attention to detail and the quality of the products in Al Kareem have always been exceptional. When you buy Mithae (Sweets) the presentation should be as good as the taste, unfortunately this isn't always the case with Ambala....
N. B.
Sunday halwa puri brunch is second to none...loved the lasi too.
Toilets need an upgrade and hygiene too...
S. T. M.
Very nice food price is worth. Very nice & polite staff. I recommend for halwa poori green tea & lassi wow great place.

Enjoyed a tasty traditional breakfast (halwa poori) on sunday. Food arrived promptly and was fresh. However, the place itself is very small and gets crowded.

Lassi is the best you will find in UK the rest is average. But as a quick breakfast place on Saturday and Sunday it's not bad. The lassi is 5 stars
