Reviews of Bageriet

Very nice little Swedish bakery tucked in a small alleyway. Buns , Princess cake , biscuits and breads are all delicious but not for everybody's purse. Buns priced at over £3 and a Mandelkran at £15...
Sandwiches are nice too but pricey....
For a special treat this place is perfect...

Faultless! I went in to try the cinnamon buns and ended up walking out with 2 bags worth of baked goods including bread, biscuits and a variety of pastries. Everything was really tasty, well prices and the staff were really helpful and cheery answering my 101 questions. I go back for a cinnamon bun every time I’m in the area - it’s way better than many other bakeries!!

Dropped by for coffee and cinnamon buns ydy, my partner lived in Sweden for some years and has a soft spot for Swedish sweets. He said coffee was good, the buns however were a disappointment as they were not fresh even though we came before 12. Service was nice.

Clearly one of the hidden gems of London.
Ridiculously delicious, fresh danish pastry, server by friendly staff. Just try it.
P. N.
Absolutely amazing! Picked up my Princess cake for Christmas (really quick and organised responses when ordering online) but everything looked so amazing in there that I bought a bunch more of their tarts :) Plus the staff are brilliant and super friendly! Annoyed with myself for not taking a photo of the inside but will definitely be back again!
M. M.
Amazing cakes and pastries! This is, understandably, a very popular place to come - getting a seat can be a little tricky! Absolutely worth the wait though.
Try the princess cake - it’s so light and fluffy! Spot on!
T. P.
Delicious pastries and very cute cosy cafe. The cream bun was to die for, fresh, warm and not too heavy or sickly sweet. The cinnamon bun was also incredible!

Aghhh this place is my addiction, damn you those swedish princess cakes. Each and everytime i head to the city either on my own or with family or friends, I always visit this tiny, quirky little cafe tucked into a corner in an alley. To anyone and everyone who hasn’t visited, please do visit this cafe, you will thank me for it 🤩👏
M. R.
The cinnamon rolls are special!! And cardamom buns are so yum. Wouldn’t recommend coffee there though
M.
Nice little place tacked away in a side street! Discovered this randomly, and couldn't believe it's so central! Amazing selection of sweet, fresh pastries and great coffee! It's definitely worth a visit.
M. M.
Very nice and cute bakery! Great service and delicious bread with an original taste!
B. J.
Definitely my favourite Swedish bakery in London. Always delicious cakes, bread and pasties. If there's no place to sit inside just grab your coffee and go to Covent Garden.
B. C.
I visited here with one goal: a slice of Princess Cake, which is very difficult to find in America (outside of the little frozen version from Ikea). I’ve wanted to try it since I saw it on Great British Bake Off. This bakery is incredibly small—even with a map app, we had to loop around to find it tucked down an alley—and their few tables were occupied. We got the cake slice to go. Let me tell you, the Ikea version has nothing on the real thing. It truly is a royal cake!
K.
What a find! This is such a lovely bakery with friendly staff. Delicious bakes.
It's a bit difficult knowing what things are in store, maybe check out their menu online first so you know what to ask for.
D. H.
This little tiny cafe in a hidden corner in middle of the busy city centre is just adorable! Great sweets and cozy atmosphere! Keep in mind that it only has 3 tables so max 6,7 people can sit in! Loved their princess cake which is a creamy cake with a layer of marzipan on top! It was divine!
L. L.
Excellent Swedish bakery, their princess cake is to die for alongside their hallon grotta. Semla was amazing too
T. W.
Incredible selection of pastries, with wonderful and smiley service. Highly recommended! Prepare to wait in line :)
A. E.
Amazing Swedish bakery, authentic Swedish baked goods can be found here. Lovely friendly staff too.
T. F.
Small and friendly. Idea spot for coffee and cake. If you are a fan of cinnamon, apple and cream you are in for a treat. They have good coffee as well. As I said it's very small, only room for about ten people seated. They do takeaway so is there's no room grab a coffee and cake then hang out in the newly pedestrianised streets where you will find a quiet place to enjoy your feast.
If you found this helpful please hit the like button.

One of my favourite cafes in London! A very small cafe with minimal seating but with an amazing selection of Swedish baked goods that smell delicious as soon as you walk in the door. The cinnamon rolls are excellent. Coffee is great, they serve big mugs of tea and lovely warming cups of spiced hot chocolate. Great if you can get a seat but it can be a bit of a shuffle. The hot blueberry soup was also surprising and delightful! Staff are always friendly and happy to explain what the many different treats are. Good luck choosing which baked good to sample!
L. H.
Amazing!! I love this place. It’s super cosy & cute & the cakes are incredible. Also the flavours of tea are some of the best I’ve had. I’d rate this hidden spot more than 5 if I could. Cinnamon bun was so so great. Definitely returning.
Because it’s a tiny place, you may have to wait for a seat. But it’s so worth it. I’ll be back - tea was seriously amazing x
Super friendly too - I took some buns home & my family loved them!
P. G.
Ok, on my quest to find and enjoy the yummiest Flat Whites in London (and beyond), I may prove to be somewhat fickle with my claims of "Best" / "Greatest Ever" / "Died & Gone to Heaven" ... as once again I've found another genuine 6 Star-rer 😁
No doubt swayed by the most fantastic Cinnamon (with a hint of Cardamom) Bun.
Tarnations, these Scandinavian's know how to bake a bun!!
The only problem is that I noticed a wee tart that had my name on it (in Swedish?) - Äppel Mazarin
Apple with an Almond paste? - W-O-W
Will be back again ... lots of new taste experiences to be had in this admittedly cosy (read tiny) piece of 🇸🇪
G.
Amazing Swedish treats!!! Very cozy and friendly space, tiny but a real treasure!!! I used to live one level up from the bakery and was always waking up by these beautiful smells that put a smile on your face. Great coffee as well. Can’t wait to get back there once again!!!!💙💛
R. T.
A cozy place in the heart of London, which feels like small home bakery in Sweden. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Not just a must for Swedish expats but everybody who enjoys Swedish baked goods, like Semla, Cinnamon buns and the famous Princess cake.
M. Z.
Had a cappucino, a blueberry pastry and a soda.
The cappucino is probably the best one I had in London.
The pastry was excellent.
Small queue, but definitely worth it.
R. C.
If you like cinnamon buns, or just incredible pastries, this place is a must visit. Tucked away off the main street, the smell of cardamom and spices hit you as you get near. Everything is baked to perfection and so tasty. A Swedish gem.
R. M.
By far and away the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten! Can’t wait to return and try their other pastries - everything looks delicious.
R. H. J.
Stunning Swedish bakery in London serving authentic Scandinavian baked goods. The quaint interior is so inviting - all wooden tones beckoning you in from the street, and the variety of products on offer is fantastic. The perfect spot for Fika! My Swedish friend gave me the seal of approval for Bageriet and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The princess cake is a particular highlight - luscious marzipan covering an irresistibly light sponge with tart raspberry filling. Divine…
C. W.
Cute little shop, friendly staffs, the bakes are fresh and tasty but a bit too sweet for me.
S. P.
Best Swedish semla in London, though closely followed by the one they do at Fabrique (not too far away). Down an alleyway, so might be a bit hard to find, and there’s not a huge amount of seating so might be better if you’re planning to take away.
L. M.
One of my long standing dreams is to have a meal of delicious beautiful pastries that just get better with each bite. This place is a dream come true plus. Princess cakes, little beautiful lemon mulberries and to top all an amazing g little chocolate roll. Plus blueberry soup. Oh I would almost move to London just for this place
L. S.
London's best hidden secret. Everything in this little gem is so wonderfully tasty it's hard to describe. Just GO and try all! Cardamon Almonds, little pastries, breads... the best !
A. “.
Great little place to get Swedish cakes and bakery goodies. Cozy and staffs are friendly.
P. M.
Great Swedish cafe tucked off a narrow side street in Covent Garden. One of the few places to get a Princess cake or why not try the chocolate balls or Mazarin (almond paste cake)
D. L.
Small place but lovely traditional Swedish cakes and pastries. Very cosy. Good coffee as well.
C. B. K.
Wow. Just excellent all around! Gotta try that pretzel-looking thing for an airy, buttery and light puff that is very slightly savory and sweet. The apple filled pastry/danish thing is amazing, and for those with a sweet tooth, try the chocolate filled brioche! It's like a molten lava hazelnut chocolate cake 😍😍😍
M. T.
Cosy little shop with lovely baked goods. Princess cake is an obvious must try, but the treacle cookies were also a nice as a tea time treat. Only complaints would be that although the prices were standard for a London bakery, they were not clearly displayed, neither were the names of any of the baked goods.
G. F.
Best Swedish bakery of London! The pretzels are the best I've ever had. If you like almonds they have a few pastries filled up with it, and it's worth try them.
黃.
Very cute bakery!
C. P.
a cozy small bakery shop with a fantastic taste.
Cinnamon bun is a must!
R. K. (.
HOLY MOLY! this tiny place is a secret heaven tucked away just off the main street!
Delicious food, beautiful herbal and fruit teas.. I saw coffee to buy by the paper bag so I'll be back to try that... the staff are so friendly, and the interior itself manages to be both clean and cozy.
I. W.
So happy to have stumbled passed this beautiful quaint bakery, in and around Covent Garden. My son is happy too and we will be back 😀❤
L. c.
A hidden gem in the backstreets of Covent Garden. This compact, authentic Swedish Bakery tempted us with its delicious aroma (had it not been for the scent, we probably would have walked straight by and seriously missed out!) A must-visit bakery!
D. F.
The UK brought us the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Joy Division, The Clash and countless classics. Sweden... Abba. And great baked goods. Things like Semlas, damsugaren and cinnamon buns sure are classics that propel the country to new heights. Thanks Bageriet for bringing Sweden's highlights to Covent Garden. Also! The filer coffee is a must. Like Abba.
F. H.
The first time went there was because it was the only place in London where you could find Prinsesstårta, the famous Swedish cake popularised in the UK by the GBBO. I was dying to try it ! Nowadays, I come regularly for a coffee because it is a sweet little place.
P. M.
I've tried Princess cake and cinnamon rolls, they are so good!
M. D.
We were a little sceptical when we first arrived, that was until the smell of ginger hit.
Probably some of the nicest cakes we have had from a bakery, highly recommended.
G. C.
Best cinnamon buns in London!
S. B.
Super nice place! Taste just like home in Sweden. Lovely personal, helpful and always make you feel welcome. The bakery is tiny and only table for 8 people in total. So don't expect finding a place to sit if you are more than 2. But it's a bakery and not a cafe. My go to place for Swedish fika for the last 3 years and I loved every time and never disappointed.
E. F.
Amazing. I went in for something sweet and decided on a cinnamon roll, but they have a £5 minimum for card. So I bought a coconut top. Neither disappointed. The cinnamon roll had no icing but still had an incredible texture and flavor. Perhaps one of the best of my life. I can’t speak for the rest of the pastries but go try a cinnamon roll!
T. P.
If you like Princess Cake then search no more. Wonderfully baked. 100% success rate everyone who had some.
L. C.
The best place in london for proper swedish cakes and bread! And coffee" fika"
A. L.
Little shop, but it's very homey and not expensive. One of the best bakery in my trip
L. B.
Amazing pastries, visited for the first time today. Would recommend the Tosca wienerbrod if you like apple and almonds, delicious. Will definately visit again ❤
E. S.
Lovely place and great cinnamon rolls - just wish there were more tables! Great cafe I'll be back!
A. S.
Very welcoming and kind staff. Bought a sliced princess cake and I don't even know where to begin. Every bite reminded me of my younger days in Sweden. The princess cake is simply amazing and is a must try. Definitely coming back!!
A. M.
Best cinnamon buns in London! Nice hint of cardamom and perfect sweetness balance..
T. C.
Cozy little cafe/bakery tucked away in a side street near Covent Garden. Delicious selection of nordic pastries, buns and cakes. Smells amazing as soon as you walk through the door! The Scandinavian style cinnamon buns are definitely worth the visit!
S. F.
Good place to stop and rest for a really nice Swedish treat
S. B.
Super lovely staff, great products, always a pleasure to go.
E. D.
The cinnamon rolls are exceptional <3
T.
A delightful little treasure of a cafe, tucked away down a lane next to Stanford's map shop. This place is just so happy and wholesome. The staff are happy in their work, surrounded by the best cakes anywhere. You can chat away to them in Swedish,, and enjoy the Swedish cakes.
The place is quite tiny, so it is hard to get a table. But if you get lucky, it is a perfect place to rest up from the mad world around Leicester Square. It is a perfect hide-away, and I sat in here enjoying the cakes and savouries whilst my friends continued to shop. I left completely rejuvenated and refreshed. A delightful little sanctuary.
G. J.
Really charming fika stop, a favourite of ours on a quiet day, because the place really does get packed! The cinnamon buns can be quite dry but recently seemed to have got better and very yummy! Lovely hot chocolate, would recommend if you’re passing by, but don’t stay too long as the queue for tables is always fierce!
M. A.
Very small and often busy but get take out and find somewhere nice to sit. The cakes are heavenly and the coffee is good too. there are all sorts of other bits and pieces available for sale too. The staff are friendly and since its slightly hidden away, but in such a well trodden area of London it feels a special treat to go there.
C. C.
Where could I start to describe this place? Maybe from the amazing, intense and sweet cinnamon smell that spans everywhere? Or maybe from the amazing pastries in the window? Or the kindnesses of the staff??? Well this is one of such places that brings you in a completely different atmosphere, and place, the immediate instant after you get in.... So what are you waiting? Go and taste their amazing coconut and vanilla hearts, or the apple cakes or the cinnamon swirls I'm sure you'll have to fight to get out....
B. l.
Very quaint hidden Swedish bakery, so cozy and the pastries delicious.
Only issue is space... the lack of, I have always taken friends here only to have to stand in the nearby alley eating our goods and there are about 4 pairs of seats available which are always hogged.
R. F.
Absolutely fantastic bakery, the Kanelbulle is divine and the service is friendly and impeccable.
C. d. L.
Best Princess Cake and Cinnamon Rolls in London hands down. I'm French and thought I had it all figured out patisserie-wise. Couldn't have been more wrong. Highly recommend anyone to try Swedish classics and Bageriet is by far the best place to do that unless you want to fly to Stockholm !
A. R.
The best cinnamon buns in town (sorry Nordic Bakery) and you have to try their bread. So good! The only drawback is that there's hardly any place inside, we only managed to sit down once. So we had to ask for take away and find the nearest bench, because we couldn't wait until home. One of my top 3 bakeries in London.
P. L.
One of my favourite Scandinavian cafes, London is filled with cafes but none are cosy as here. The coffee is great, the pasteries are delectable and the staff are quite friendly. The small size of the cafe means it can be difficult to get a table but it’s still quite a homely place so it’s worth coming even for a coffee to go.
b. c.
Seasonal breads, pastries, cookies. Love this place!
D. S.
Girls, great job. Customer service amazing, I came when shop was closed and they still open door and serve me.
The cinnamon rolls and muffins were fabulous.
Saturday tea and Netflix were success .
Will definitely recommend to friends and colleagues.
D. A.
Best cinnamon rolls in London. Delicious pastries and the princess cake is truly lovely. Go go go.
t.
Really tiny place but super cute!! Is kinda hard to find a sit because there are literally 2 tables and 4 chair so, consider yourself lucky if you get few minutes in this little (tiny) corner of sweet Sweden. The hot chocolate was amazing, I didn't expect the hint of cinnamon in it but it was definitely welcome!! The sticky chocolate cake was ssssoooo goooood and definitely sticky!! I've tried other pastries but I can't remember the names except for the Mazarin... This one for some reason got stuck in my brain. Maybe because it was lovely. Definitely recommend, I will be back for sure because I still have some pastries to try 💜
M. S.
Small and perfect little bakery for stopping in on a whim for a treat...you can smell the cinnamon as you approach from Floral Street! They are my fave Swedish bakery in London. Their buns and raspberry tarts (hallonbakelser) are just dreamy. The Prinsesstårta is a show stopper, it's the best cake ever and the balance is perfect. Get a whole one to to treat work or home 😃
G. T.
Delicious pastries, but my god with a price tag! Bought one croissant last Thursday and paid £3.50. The place is always very busy though so be sure not to be disappointed with the taste, just be prepared to drop a few pounds! For noting, they do not accept card payments for anything under £5 and do not take amex.
L. D.
Someone please offer them a bigger space please! When I popped into this tiny tiny cafe, I was lucky enough to be able to get a seat as there was someone just leaving before me - but soon after, there was a long queue. But everyone smiling waiting, cause their buns / cakes are so good that we all know it's worth for a wait.
My favourite was a Saffron bun, but happy to try all on the offer on my next visit!
M. K.
These used to be my favourite cinnamon buns in London but I suspect they've changed their recipe slightly as they're now sweeter than before and don't have the same bite that I enjoy in Scandinavian cinnamon buns. But there's still a good ratio of bread to cinnamon, and the staff are really lovely as well.
R. S.
By far and away the yardstick by which any other Scandinavian bakery has to be measured.
T. H.
Really tasty! Tried every item- favourite is the fresh cake they make.
D. P.
A hidden gem. Found it by chance and came by on a few occasions now, nothing I bought there disappointed. The cardamon bun with custard was a highlight of my day...wish I took more than one 😪
A. K.
Lovely bread. The cinnamon buns are a treat - as are their small pastries. Also, they serve filter coffee (so rare these days).
A. J.
It has the best princess cake I have ever had! Pity that it isn’t open on Sunday’s. Teas are good too when sitting inside.
T. V.
Small bakery tucked away near Covent Garden. Amazing cinnamon buns, coconut rochers, cake and lots of other Swedish delight. I usually go for take away, but there's a few seats to sit in as well.
G. Z.
Excelent pastelitos. The girls were charming and helpful. Definitely would come back again. Great service!!
J. B.
Best kept secret in Covent Garden. We’ve tried half a dozen things here, all top notch. Cinnamon roll is a stand out, probably the best I’ve had.
N. F.
Great small authentic Swedish Cafe with a variety of sweet treats. The birthday cake is delicious so is the cinnamon bun.
P. P.
Teeny tiny bakery but worth a visit just for the amazing display of Swedish pastries on display. Not the best Cinnamon bun I've eaten but friendly staff and an opportunity to escape the London crowds.
K. G. (. U.
A fantastic little micro bakery tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden & Leicester Sq. Great place for a quiet cuppa & a cake or pastry. The homebaked pastries are delicious and all served with a smile!
M. W. N.
Nice little hole in the wall Swedish bakery near Covent garden. The place to get your princess cake fix.
S. J.
Great coffee, small place (8 seats), but really nice. Amazing selection of cakes and pastries. Hint of cardamom in the sticky bun - gorgeous!
T. T.
Bageriet is little Sweden in London. There are other Swedish and Scandinavian bakeries in London, but this one wins in its cosy, authentic, independent feel. I love the biscuits and fruit jams on offer, along with great traditional cakes and tarts. Cinnamon buns are also a killer.
N. A.
A beautiful little bakery with lovely friendly service
A. V.
Place is super small. There are literally two tables with a total combined of 8 seats and that's it. But everything is so good!! You can load up on crabs like crazy in here. Lovely. Coffee is great too!!
L. D.
The most amazing cakes I've tasted in my life. Small but who cares get a takeaway and find a bench to eat your goodies. Can't believe anybody has given it a bad review must be jealousy.
A. D.
One of my favourite hideaways in London! Cinnamon buns are fantastic but also a really great range of other interesting little delicacies! The coffee is spot on too! Worth a visit!
A. L.
Friendly staff and really lovely high quality swedish cakes!
K. B.
Cardamom buns with custard are simply divine. Can’t wait to try other treats as everything there looks fabulous.
A. L.
I didn't find staff that friendly, window has to stay always open near the tables as they have no ventilation for the cooking staff underground, so you will freeze when windy. Prices OK considering it is London. Place is cool but tiny unless you prefer to call it cosy. Food n drinks are very good .
N. R.
Really delicious kanelbulle (cinnamon roll). Just like what I had in Sweden. It’s a cozy little cafe with plush seating and welcoming staff. I will definitely visit again next time I come to London!
M. M.
Very lovely place, super nice staff that answers all the questions and high quality pastries. Bit pricey, but you pay for what you are getting :) came back few times and will definitely come back more times.
A. B.
Visited with my mum and we both loved it. Lovely staff and a nice and cosy environment. We appreciated the Swedish music in the background. And the cinnamon buns (kanelbullarna) were the best I have ever tasted!
E. T.
There's a Swedish bakery around the office? Went there and tried the Princess Cake and, SOLD!
I read on Wikipedia that this Marzipan cake is called the Princess Cake because the 3 Swedish princesses love this cake. What a touching story. What is even better is that if you ordered this £3.80 slice of cake, you will then fall in love with the cake like Princes fall in love with Princesses! It's so light and fluffy inside. The marzipan doesn't over power you with sweetness (I am usually not a fan of marzipan!!!!)
The shop is tiny but it's very cosy, and all the bakery products look amazing. There are maybe 2-3 tables to sit on so you have to be fast or be prepared to do a takeaway instead...I have introduced at least 5 people to this place already, I am sure I will hear good things about it from them!
T. W.
A gem of a place that is tucked away just off busy Long Acre. Great selection of Swedish cakes, pastries and bread, and served by friendly Swedish staff who know how to make a very decent flat white too. Very limited seating inside, so be prepared to have your sweets to go.
D. C. S.
Good Swedish cafe with great coffee and tantalising teas, along with delicious pastries. You must try the Princess Torte, the Semla Buns (at Easter) or the Cinnamon Buns! Great location, a hidden gem in central London. But, shhhh don't tell everyone. Haha.
R. T.
Small bakery specialising in Swedish loaves, pastries, biscuits and jams made on the premises. Friendly and helpful staff happy to help. There are also a couple of tables where customers can sit down and enjoy a selection of teas or coffees.
S.
There are extremely delicious Swedish desserts in this place! If their princess cake or sugar pretzels do not hit your sweet tooth, I don't know what will. I don't have a sweet tooth much, but this nails it!
s. H.
So cozy!! So yummy too!! Raspberry pastry was legit 😭😭😭😭
B. B.
Really good bakery but only 8 seats and unfortunately people seem to think that ordering one coffee means they have take up half a table with a laptop for an hour as if it’s a starbucks.
Laptops aren’t hygge, friends!
R. E.
My friends & I loved this quaint little cafe of tasty treats. Princess cake was delicious. Good range of teas & coffees. Will definitely visit again. 😊
-. a. a.
Amazing swedish bakery, super friendly staff, super good baked swedish cakes and breads and cookies and sandwiches. This is one of my favourite place to take friends to enjoy some authentic swedish cakes etc, and they make the PRINCESS TART ! It’s perfect,
Big hugs
Anton
J. L.
The cutest little bakery in London
v. g.
At Bageriet I had the most delicious swedish fika I could ask in London. The place is cozy and hygge, though very small. You have to wait for your table outdoor, but the waiting its worth it!!! Once inside you can satisfy your fancies. Kanelbullar are terrific!! Buttery and fluffy and you'll find yourself in heaven!! I had filtered coffee and was perfect!! Staff is the kindest I ever experienced in London. Love this place and I'll go back as soon as I can to try Lussekatter and Semlor.
M. J.
We got lucky and got a seat. They were doing a roaring trade in take outs even though it was raining. The cake and coffee, excellent. The staff were lovely. They must be knackered by the end of their day.
D. P.
Fantastic cakes in this tiny little cafe. Particularly recommend the Semla buns (only available until Easter) which are the best we've tasted outside Vete-Katten in Stockholm.
A. S.
Best cinnamon roll in London. Very friendly staff.
J. M. G. S.
Excellent Princess Cake and a very nice Capuccino. Worth while the trip from quite a distance...
A. J.
I make every excuse to visit this little piece of cosy heaven in London. The cakes! Cinnamon buns! Spicy hot chocolate! Tiny shop - only 2 tables. Don't take "my" seat! Thank you Bagereit, you are wonderful xxx
s. m.
Good selection and everything I purchased tasted fresh. Friendly, patient service too :)
G. B.
In the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden, you can find a tiny oasis of calm and delicious food: Bageriet. They have great cinnamon buns as well as other Swedish pastries and cakes that will make even your greyest day much sweeter.
I walked past Swedish bakery and coffee shop Bageriet located in a small alley in Covent Garden a number of times, sadly always when it was closed. When I was in the area this morning, I seized the opportunity and stopped by.
Bageriet is a lovely little shop and now in December, it was in full Christmas swing with beautiful Swedish and English carols playing in a loop. I find that this kind of music can be pretty annoying these days, but at Bageriet it somehow worked for me and on a cold day, it created a very relaxed and comforting atmosphere in an otherwise busy area.
Being at a Swedish bakery, there was no way around a kanelbulle, or cinnamon bun in English. To complete the "fika", as the Swedes call it, I had my kanelbulle with a nice flat white. The cinnamon bun was very tasty and I could have eaten many more...but I decided to try something else and went for the apple bun, which was just as delicious.
I must admit that it was a little bit disappointing that they do not have fresh juices, but then, I could check out a very Swedish drink that I had not even heard of before, Trocadero. It is not quite a fresh juice, but it was refreshing and tasted fine.
Bageriet really is a beautiful place to take a break and enjoy some Swedish treats, baked to perfection and served by very friendly staff. A place to visit again.
K. Y.
HOLY MOLY! this tiny place is a secret heaven tucked away just off the main street!
Delicious food, beautiful herbal and fruit teas.. I saw coffee to buy by the paper bag so I'll be back to try that... the staff are so friendly, and the interior itself manages to be both clean and cozy.
N. M.
Such a delicious tiny shop of goodies. One day there will be space for me to have a cuppa and cake here instead of having to take it away. Smells divine be warned!! 😋
A. C.
Great little Swedish cafe selling amazing Kanelbullar cinnamon buns. Very limited seating unfortunately, so you may have to take your Kanelbullar to go. Well worth a visit.
P. B.
Dinky little place - only seems to seat 8 people inside, but a lovely selection of pastries and baked goods and tasty coffee. Will return to try more treats soon!
J. F.
Small Swedish bakery hidden in Covent Garden. Wish they had more options available. Very small space so only one customer allowed to order at a time
V.
The most charming little Swedish bakery offering the best Princess Torte in London. Tiny area for seating available too.
B. D.
Great little Swedish bakery. Only downside is that it's hard to get a seat, so prepare to eat their goodies at home
J. S.
Being a swedish expat in London, the first time I set foot in Bageriet was like magically being teleported back home to Sweden! Very friendly staff and the baked goods are unbelievable! Perfect for the sacred Fika! ❤
A. P.

런던에서 제일 정통 스웨디시 베이커리 맛을 느낄수 있는 곳. 빵 종류도 다양하고 커피도 맛나지만 자리가 너무 협소한게 흠이라면 흠.

(Translated) As you enter the narrow path, you will find a small cafe and a shop selling bread on the right side.
They sell bread that is finer and more delicate than you might expect.
In particular, I think it can be said that the cake shop bread with plenty of cardamom is a feature, but I don't think it will be disappointing.
