I usually get my cakes from cakebox but this time i was very disappointed. The picture in the middle was alot smaller than what they advertise on their website. The zebra print around the sides were coming off, the picture in the middle was all bubbly, came up in all the pictures! I wish i got another cake from somewhere else. Maybe standard cakes are fine but ill never order a designed cake from here ever again! Order pick up time was 4 but the cake wasn’t ready even though it was ordered maybe a week in advance. Updated: Although the experience yesterday was bad, ive changed my review to 5stars as they were kind enough to email me to apologise and give me a new cake at no extra cost.

Lovely creamy moist cup cakes, big issues with packaging, too individually put cup cakes in plastic containers is not sustainable, the box also has plastic in the lid and its delivered in a plastic bag rather than a paper bag. I do hope this is looked into.

Possible the best cake place in North East London. The ingredients make the difference here, we had a plain cheesecake, extremely light and fluffy. No sugar rush. Would recommend safely. Great friendly service ☺️

I don’t want to give you a low rating as I don’t want to ruin your ratings, however I am very disappointed that your staff were not competent enough to write my message on my order. My message was “People only rain on your parade because they are jealous of your sun and tired of their shade” If this was not possible then I should have been informed before hand rather then the last minute. This is poor customer service. Next time I will buy from another EGGFREE shop as there are many out there with better reviews. The second mistake your staff made getting my colours mixed up. A five year old can tell the difference between GREY and PURPLE colour.

Honestly CAKE BOX is the best cake ever.. !!! So far I have not seen any cake that beats them!. I do not order any other cake then CAKe BOX !!! Just want to let everyone know how reliable this cake box is. I've ordered many times and aspire to order more in future. I always get a warm welcome when I order and come to pick up my cake. They have so much variety it makes it difficult to choose from but I love it. There's great customer service from someone called sultana who works there she's one of my faivs always smiling and very approachable. Will definitely recommend Bethnal Green cake box. Booked a 142inch minion cake for my sons birthday, the picture cake was no well proportioned to the size. The jumping minion picture was not visible it seems and the finishing was really bad. However the cake tasted good . A bit disappointing experience this time though !!!!
