It's an absolutely beautiful place to share the coffee with a friend and even in the presence of a child, because there's a nook for him, and what's better than coffee, of course served with a slice of juicy and fresh cake or cookie. I recommend with both hands, and the décor is... a cute and perfect for photos on social media 😁📸. The attitude towards the customers is 100% kind, predisposes to Purchase, and recommends to your tastes the best. My husband and I bought two, three times from there for birthdays and absolutely recommended cakes on what we tell them we like deliciously. You won't regret being there. Today I was there and I ate two very sweet cakes. The sweet boy on the till advised me that they are very nice and sweet, yet if I return won’t be coz of the cakes but because of the sweet man. Such a charming young man with beautiful smile and eyes. A great service is much more appreciated when it comes from a beautiful person. I will definitely come back.

Lovely coffee shop with a massive, fenced off play area for your busy babies/toddlers with a playhouse and a few toys. Baby change, toilets, etc. Massive selection of Eastern European cakes (a lot of them are Bulgarian!). Excellent service. Wonderful decor. Superb, easy to get to location and can easily meet other mums there. Highly recommended!

This place has huge potential. I'd give it 3.5 but there's no half. Great interior layout. Coffee was ok but a bit overheated. We enjoyed the cakes. Staff were friendly too. Would go back for tea and cake.

I ordered a constructions theme cake for my son's birthday and the cake was amazing. He loved the decorations, got extra toys from the cake, which was a nice surprise for him and a bonus! Lovely place! Nice play area. They work until 7 which rarely happens for a kids oriented café. Amazing desserts but unfortunately no proper food. Also I find decision to lock all the toilets a bit uncomfortable. You have to ask for the key every time you need to go to the toilet. You have to put off your shoes in the play area. Not allowed to take toys from or bring food to the play area. Friendly service, but not all of staff speak English well enough.

This is a wonderful, spacious cafe with tasteful decor, an amazing choice of elaborate cakes. muffins, croissants and other pastries. It has a great kids area at the back, which is well-stocked with toys. But if you don't like kids it's peaceful and sunny in the seats at the front. The staff are lovely and demonstrate the traditional Bulgarian hospitality we are used to in the lower High Street. You won't find gluten free and soy milk, decaf etc, but it's a nice European-style place with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Clientele is a real mix of Bulgarians, English mums on maternity leave and all sorts really, which is great.

It's so nice to be able to come out for a delicious cup of coffee with my 3 year old boy and be able to enjoy every minute of it as he is away playing in the little playroom. This place has a lovely atmosphere and I do agree with others that it is very pricey for there cakes, but if your gonna treat yourself then treat yourself right. Look forward to next time and so does my little boy 😊

Visited with my old neighbor last week. It is a beautiful welcoming and tastefully decorated cafeteria. The staff were very efficient and pleasant, and the coffee and cakes were to die for. A very enjoyable visit . Would highly recommend. I will return.💖🍰🧁

Cute place in Walthamstow for a relaxing tea and cake. I've been there a couple of time and the large selection of cakes varies from time to time. They have different kind of desserts, cakes, biscuits, cookies and so on. So far, everything I've tried was really tasty and good. The place is decorated in a sweet and cosy way, in a sort of country style. The staff is nice, too.

Only been the once, seems a friendly spot for cakes and coffee. Not exactly a hipster hangout but a comfortable Laura Ashley feel to it. Think it was a worker's birthday on our visit as the staff took a few minutes out to animatedly sing/shout at a colleague. Bit of action. They have a small kids play area for the under 3s if you desperately need 10 minutes to yourself. Could do with more of a savoury selection to balance the menu, but I guess it is Desi's Cake, not Desi's Full English, so can't mark them down for that.

Decent cafe in oversized venue, used to be a pub. Cakes and pastries are the mainstay with coffee, limited otherwise. Has a dedicated soft play area cordoned off for kids inside the cafe making it a favourite with parents. Decor is in neutral tones but fails to make full use of the high ceilings.

If you’re reading this after visiting the TooGoodToGo App, then this review is for you. As far as a cafe goes, its a lovely place, bit overpriced, but otherwise a nice sit-in experience. As for the getting stuff from the app - dont bother. It says the stuff they give you is worth 7.50£ yet in reality what you actually get given are two measly little cake slices. The whole point of the app is to give things that would otherwise go to waste and Desi’s just seem to be profiting off of it. If the app allowed me to leave a review on it then I would give 2 stars, however as this is on Google, i’m being more generous.

This former pub, is a nice addition to Walthamstow market. Good homemade cakes and pastries, but very rich and creamy do don't indulge. They have created a nice play area for kids and it can get very crowded and busy with mums and buggies. It's a shame they don't provide sustainable takeaway boxes; I can't believe they still use polistery!
