I really enjoyed my time here. They have delcious variety of breakfast items as well as coffees. The staff are friendly and your order will be on your table without any delay. It is well-decorated with lovely day light. Highly recommended.

Pretty tasty good although slightly overpriced for the standard. I like how they heat their savoury food. I had the Mediterranean roll which was pretty good. The ultimate hot chocolate wasn't anything special and definitely wasn't worth four pounds. It was bitter, which was expected considering the coco percentage, but not thick and creamy enough to equalise the bitterness so it just tasted like a disappointment. The orange and vanilla cheesecake however was incredible! It was creamy and incredibly rich and the portions size was enough to prevent it from becoming sickly. Would defiantly recommend the pastries.

Very nice and calm environment in the middle of Islington's Upper Street. You can find a great coffee with a great service. Parking a bit of problem in week days however weekends are fine. Exept Arsenal match days.

I really really want to like this place! As I am in Angel often. Coffee is good, but on more than one occasion I’ve been served an old pastry or an old cake. You’re better off throwing them away than serving them to a customer like that. Coffee I can recommend but I will never order another pastry from there again. Really unfortunate.

Visited this lovely bakery this morning. It has just re-opened after a refurbishment and looks so nice! Lovely ambience, amazing staff, great food and superb coffee! A real neighbourhood feel. I had a cheaky carrot cake slice and it was out of this world! :)

I ordered chocolate tart and caramel cheesecake. It was edible but not what I expected. The tart itself had crispy pie with solid chocolate and the cheesecake not much taste like a cheesecake but it has strong caramel taste. So I will forgive that. Compared to another bakery, I don't think this one is good enough.

Love this bakery and sitting at the long wooden communal tables. Lovely to see young mother's coming in with their babies! And all kinds of people of all ages. I love to people watch! They play pop music - not too loudly - in the bakery, which i like. Very crowded at weekends though!

Lovely and quiet music, bright and clean space, good service, yummy pastries and an amazing coconut/almond iced latte. Internet can be slow, but there is a 10% student discount, so it's my new favorite place to get a good drink and sit and do some reading I've printed out or send some emails.

I popped into the Euphorium Bakery for a quick coffee break and found the atmosphere to be pleasant. The staff were friendly and worked efficiently to make sure people was served quickly. They had a good range of pastries, breads, teas and coffees so there's something for everyone. Prices are slightly dearer than the usual coffee shops but I think the quality is worth the money.

If you're on Upper Street and in need of coffee and pastry I don't see why you'd go anywhere other than Euphorium Bakery. Quite simply, they bake delicious things. The desserts range from elegant-looking mousses to apple tarts. The anchovy pizza and vegetarian quiches are also delicious. And I don't think anything is over the £4 mark. Ooh, and they bake fresh bread! I think you have to get there early for that though - I went late in the afternoon and the shelves were looking pretty bare.

Me and my friend were looking for a nice cafe where we can relax and stay till late. It looked very homie and nice inside but unfortunately when we entered around 8pm they have already closed the deeper inside area, which looked better. However we've got cakes for "2 for 1" and they were really tasty! The negative point was that they've started cleaning up immigration and that ruined the nice atmosphere and made us feel a bit rushed...The staff were very friendly though.

Lovely place, has a really nice feel to it with the long tables underneath the glass roof at the back of the shop, also the coffee is really quite nice and consistent (I'm pretty picky about coffee) and the food (although quite expensive) is really nice. Awesome cakes too! I'd say that Euphorium is probably the best place for coffee in Islington, with Tinderbox coming second. Definitely my favourite local cafe.

Emphorium Bakery on Upper Street while a good alternative to the neighbourhood Starbucks and Cafe Nero offers bland food and a inconsistent slow service. The interior is split across two levels, with the main street level offering six to seven tables part of a cold and impersonal space. The lower ground offers more personality and comfort, with leather sofas and a long wooden table at the end of the room. Emphorium Bakery offers a fast free wifi connection without having to give away your personal details including your email like other establishments. While there is a good variety of options including freshly baked bread, patisserie & small cakes, croissants and cookies, sanwiches and salads, the preparation is bland. The salad I ordered was way to cold and lacked any seasoning or taste. With that said, the croissant was fresh and spongy. Price was it is more expensive by 15% than Starbucks and Cafe Nero. The service is an area for major improvement given it is slow and cues tend to build quickly. Upon arriving to my table of choice there was two plates and a coffee left from the previous customer which had not been cleared for a while. Euphorium Bakery hours are convinient, being open Monday - Friday from 7am to 8pm and Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

If you can find a table this is one of the best breakfasts in Islington. Great selection of 'baked goods' and a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately this is also a haunt of the aggressive mothers with enormous battle prams so don't be surprised if your chair gets rammed without warning. Also a place to avoid if hungover as the mothers come with screaming children. All in all a great spot if you get it at a quite moment.

They open late, have cool outdoor seats and the staff are very friendly. But the coffee, forget it, tons of better options around. Good coffee shops in this area close pretty early, and then Euphorium saves the day!

Okay this place is not that bad. Decent bread for breakfast.People get insane over these breads. I've seen people push others out of the way to get the breads and I've seen people buy 20 breads at once. Crazy.My favorite breads are the marble taro, brioche, rose cheese, blueberry cream cheese, and the chocolate bread. So yummy.

Delicious pastry. Great breads. Very good espresso. Good place to sit and talk, or read, or space out. It's a very convenient location, too -- on Upper Street, across from Islington Town Hall and a short walk from Highbury and Islington station. I come here whenever I am in London.

Delicious pastries and breads (with an especial shout out for their daily flavours, such as Sunday's olive fougasse) make up for the usual queues and harried staff on any given weekend day here. It's not particularly cheap for the sandwiches/pizza slices (an average of £4.50) but they're loaded up with fresh flavours, and the veggie pizza takeaway slice is definitely a worthy tasty choice.

For anyone who have visited France before knows how difficult it is to find good bread in London! Euphorium Bakery is one of the few places in London that serve really good bread in wide range of selection. (Personally I strongly recommend Sour Dough!) They also serve very good coffee and tea (from tea pigs) as well as a wide range of pastries and sandwiches which are perfect for breakfast or afternoon snacks!
