Good flat white ( coffee), nice quiet location on a Wednesday morning. Chairs are abit heav so 💪💪 Average cost 2.60£ for a flat white so can't complain

I take an hour detour just to shop there, simply my favourite bakery ever. Everything is done with extremely high quality, the pastries, the different types of bread, just amazing! I'd recommend the rye bread and blueberry vatrushka. The ladies the serve you are very lovely too. It's a shame they do not have more shops around London!

Lots of lovely breads and treats to sample. Expensive but great quality bread - although a brie salad seedy baguette to eat in is less than £4 - very reasonable. Good coffee with soya milk, and clearly somewhere the Eastern European locals come for their honey cake fix!

The bread is pretty good, but the staff just lack much service skill. I'm sure many people have made the mistake of picking up the bread from the front shelf and you can find yourself getting barked at for it. Always an issue with the card machine and just a general lack of politeness. For example charging us for a bread that they didn't have and then the faff of them refunding 30 seconds later. Try signorelli in the east village for an alternative.

The most delicious gluten free/ vegan breads! All staff members are so friendly and welcoming! Recommended this place to all my friends so now bringing it as a present to my London friends and family in Paris!:) pease never close the Stratford branch!:)

did not expect to find this good dark bread in London! yes, they don’t bake it here, so not fresh from the oven (even healthier;)but you can keep it many days at home, even bake it up . prefer it to the soft supermarket breads, for sure!!

I buy a lot of bread in London from some expensive places. This is THE BEST bread in London I think - no compromise. Bread is on the expensive side (a large loaf would cost about £4-£5) but I think it is worth it. They can slice the bread for you also and always have a hige range of samples so you know what you are buying - staff are good and service is efficient.

Now here's a bakery that's a healthy competition to Gail's at Waitrose next door. The Onion and Sage bread is to die for, get half a loaf if one is too big, you can taste them, as you walk by. The staff has cut them into bite size pieces. Sometimes there's some kind of a condiment pop-up shop in front, they would be happy to slap on some jam or truffle paste on to the bread to give you an added flavor. :) I wasn't really impressed by the coffee, but the bread that's just simply amazing.. not sure why, but they are in similar price range to Gail's so expect to pay between 3-6quids for a loaf, but if you can wait it out, by the closing time, they go really really cheap. Not all will be available though.

The taste of these bread is interesting. But there are no written ingredients. It is not a bad bread but I have never bought a fresh bread there. A little to pricey.

Karaway in Stratford are you still opened , i miss your Bread and fresh cakes . That is the only place in U.K. where we had a chance to get best quality , yeast free Bread and best quality Shakotis !

Very lovely staff and they have these little different breads 4 for £2.

Tasty savoury or sweet pastry, tea or coffee - East European style. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with "Eastern" price but rather high street market one.
