Lovely place for delicious tea and cakes! Really recommend it. The Mille crepes cakes are so delicate you can barely feel the crepes, it’s amazing! Would also recommend the passion fruit tea.

Tried the dirty oat milk, and it was amazing. Probably the best bubble tea I've had! I find it difficult to get really good tasting milk tea that uses vegan substitute, but this was so tasty. The staff were also very friendly, and the cafe is situated in a relaxed area. I'd love to be able to get this tea more often!!

This place is very good. Their cakes, sandwiches and drinks are all good. Very nice location next to all the museums and fancy places in South Kensington. They have hand sanitising station upon entrance with tissues which is nice. I love their dirty matcha bubble tea and the matcha tart. It's the best matcha dessert in this place. The crepe cakes are good too, but the matcha tart is the dream of matcha lovers. Cute seating and always friendly staff who are polite. Highly recommend for an afternoon tea and cake or their takeaway service on Deliveroo.

They use the earthiest ceremonial-grade matcha powder for their Matcha Mille Crepe! It's so creamy yet well-balanced flavour-wise 🥺 If you want a more multifaceted cake though, would personally recommend their Sea Salt Cheese Lava: think bouncy, aromatic chiffon cake topped generously with sweet-and-savoury cream, cereal for some crunch, and dried sultanas and cranberries for pops of sweetness.

Ordered on Uber Eats delivery, with a bubble milk tea that’s so good before I remember to take a photo before it’s finished. The Japanese style cakes and tarts are lovely, sweetness at the right level. Plenty of options for you to choose from, both slides and whole cake. I’ve already repeated my purchase from Kova :)

They sometimes have a long wait and it can get crammed inside, but the signature boba served hot is the best. You can really taste the tea and customize your sweetness level which is great! Their cakes are really good too - the strawberry one is my favorite :)

Quality fine patisserie nothing like the sickly cupcakes kind of sweets. Matcha Tart is awfully matcha and Matcha Shortcake has the perfect layering of various textures. Matcha Tiramisu and Matcha Gateau Brownie are also divine.

Got an iced matcha latte from here which was fine but I don’t understand why they can’t add cheezo on top. It’s available as an extra on the menu and I would have paid for it but when I asked why they couldn’t do it, they said it’s their recipe!!?? What does that even mean. It’s a topping and my drink had ice in to hold it, so I don’t understand what the issue is. Honestly, I left and then came back and just got the matcha latte. I like that the minimum sweetness really is barely detectable and the matcha is good. Please make options like this available though or add a non sweetened milk tea option to the cheezo drink list. I don’t want oolong or Jasmin tea without milk in it. I think that’s reasonable. Thanks

Really yummy bubble tea. They have white boba here which i have never seen before - was really unique and good! Paired the white boba with a passionfruit tea and was really refreshing. They also have an array of desserts which looked super good.

The Mille crepe are not bad, but the customer service can be improved by quite a lot. The lady behind the counter was cold and unwelcoming. Compare with other Japanese patisserie like WA, Kova is just OK. Though the matcha powder is quite alright.

Great menu including dairy free Brown Sugar Milk Tea, which is my favourite but I'd never found a vegan version. The milk tea was delectable with just the right amount of 'bounce' in the Boba. Prices are very reasonable too considering the area. Customer service is quick and professional.

The vanilla mille crepe cake was delicious. The chocolate brownie was not so, it was a bit dry. I thought the cakes would be bigger so it’s a bit expensive for what you get but I did really like the crepe cake so I was quite happy.

One of our favourite patisseries in London, the desserts are unique, Japanese and incredible in taste! They have some good bubble tea drinks as well, with an added option of oat milk. The dirty matcha is a personal favourite.

These came via deliveroo! I’ve been to kova a few times before when the place was open before the lockdown and it’s a very nice small place, clean, not too loud. I absolutely love their desserts. I think it’s one of the best Japanese patisserie places in london, especially if you are a matcha fan! The matcha tart is incredible and so are their crepes( i tried the vanilla, earlgrey, and matcha mille crepes). Definitely recommended.

Probably one of the best few places to get high quality matcha related desserts. Especially the matcha mille crêpe. Absolutely amazing. However, the desserts on menu are also very good, the sea salt cheese cake was a very interesting and welcome surprise. Bubble tea here is also good. The only fault I would say is there are no loyalty cards :'( because I frequent so much haha it would be nice for them to add it in the future. Amazing place, HIGHLY recommend to any matcha lovers (or dessert lovers in general)

Decent Japanese styled patisserie great on a chilled Sunday afternoon. I bought a cake for takeaway (as it was getting late) and had it with some Chinese tea. The matcha crepe and matcha cream was balanced between bitter and sweet and its texture was good. It was quite expensive for the quantity so consider it a treat. Selection of bubble tea is basic, but has the classics. An addition of taro won't go amiss. Not really able to customise these drinks, but will accept that this is mainly a cake shop, not bubble tea one. Tea I ordered was alright, have had worse, have had better. Guess it just didn't taste great due to the waiting time (about 15-20 minutes!) and some what high price for a small cup of tea. I feel they were busy with online orders but was not immediately clear how I could access this (no signs on Uber or HungryPanda). Pearls were excellently cooked though. I do need to return to try the cakes; they looked cute.

Best bubble tea and cakes in London - BUT please bring back peach cheezo!!! Edit: We are a regular but the staff are being much less attentive than before - probably because of the amount of deliveroo orders they get. This is surprising as their other soho branches are much busier yet delivering better service. The dirty taro milk boba today was poorly blended, and they have gave us the wrong cake (while I saw them taking the right cake out, they have mixed up my order with other people’s and I only discovered at home :( ) This is different from their usual practice at other branches.

Their cakes are great, pretty unusual and light. Small choice of bubble tea. Mine was quite good but not my favourite type of bubble tea. The place is cosy but service is slow. Edit : came back one year later, the service was way much quicker and matcha latte better than the bubble tea. Cakes are still awesome! :)

I already tried Kova in takeaway in Chinatown and it was amazing! So when I heard they opened a new shop with place to seat I was so happy to try. The place is lovely! Very comfortable and the staff is welcoming and lovely. They were a bit slow and I almost asked them when will we be able to get our drinks and cakes. They prioritise the takeaway and delivery services... I tried a Earl Grey milk crepes and a jasmine bubble tea. The cake was delicious but I was a bit disappointed by the bubble tea. I was not a fan of the caramel coulis thing inside. Would prefer the original version. Also it would be nice if they have a toilet inside the shop. I know it's small but it can be useful.
