Reviews of Lisboa Papelaria
S. L.
Probably the cheapest and most delicious Portugese nata in the area and also the gentleman serving me is quite nice and friendly. They also sell coffees, other sweet and savoury Portugese treats since it is a small cafe too. All tables were occupied during my visit unfortunately so I decided to takeaway instead.
M. A.
This is a really nice and authentic Portuguese patisserie that has wide range of delicious sweets and sandwiches and the prices are very handy.
S. W.
Best Pastel de Nata - I think I’ve ever had anywhere! It’s a bit more oozy, eggy inside than the bland supermarket ones - also mine had a very faint lemon flavour in the custard; freshly baked, still warm - properly caramelised skin on top. Two pastries this good and a large cappuccino for under a £5 in London! Amazing!!
G.
Yummy traditional pastries ! Flat white was not bad too. Nice staff and They accept AE, popular among locals , full house in a weekday 9am
Very good price ! Got the ball + a small pastry + coffee were £4.65 - unreal in London !!
F. D.
Friendly staff and the place privides to the client the real portuguese atmosphere.I am so glad that I was lucky to found a place with such a diverse offer of portuguese cakes and snacks.
A. A.
Very delicious pastries, affordable and reasonable pricing. Always long queue. Freshly made bakeries. All 4 of these for just 5 pounds.
P. B.
Get there early …worth the wait
Delicious cakes & coffee
E. R.
Probably the best pastries I have had in NW London.
Great selection, great prices, really tasty, and just such lovely people. Lisboa stores have such a great community feel.
Grab a treat and head to the canal for a lovely walk. And then go back for another treat...
Ps...the donuts: yes!!!!
R. P.
Nice pasteis de nata. Warm and fresh but the natas are a bit too expensive
C. B. T.
Authentic Portuguese bakery renound for Pastel de Nata which are small baked custard tarts. During the week it's normally busy but from 9am Sat people queue around the corner and they sell out.
If you go between 7am and 8.30am you can just walk in and no queue so worth making the effort. The staff are very friendly and will advise you on what to buy if you ask.
One tip. The coffee is not great. I would go to Flying Horse coffee down the road on the other side which is excellent. You can then enjoy a Pastel and coffee together!
C. J.
Love this place. Me and my wife go to this place every Saturday. We always orders crossiant, cheese and ham pastry, coffee shot, pastal de natas and any sweet savouries. It small shop but it very popular and there is always queue inside. The quality of anything you get is unreal. Price is not that expensive and enough space inside and outside to seat. But as it always busy very hard to find space. Staff are very friendly and very clean place. If you love Portuguese cafe then this is the famous cafe in Portugal where you get all the best items from Portugal. It will remind you of Portugal if you lived there and are in UK. This place deserve 10/10.
M. S.
The staff is nice and the atmosphere takes us to an old Portuguese shop. The pastries are ok, but not like being in Portugal. There's only a Nr 1 Portugal in pastry, not here.
E. F.
Went to visit this place after back from holiday from Madeira and it has all the tasty pastries I had whilst abroad! Excellent customer service and quality products!
I. T.
Good variety of Portuguese sweets, very affordable! The space could be way better, I would only go there for takeaway as it is not nice or inviting...
L. J.
Very nice and authentic place. Fantastic selection of cakes and tarts with reasonable price. Love it.
Visited this place again last weekend, considering the neverending queue and busy cafe the staff were really polite and helpful.
The sandwiches are really tasty, the custard cakes are amazing and the coffee is good.
They keeping their high standards consistently.
I still love this place.
D. V.
I'm a fan of pasteis de nata. While these are not the best I've had in my life, they are definitely among the best I've had in London. Not so sure about the coffee though.
L. Z.
One of London’s best patisseries a must if you are in the are. They have a wide variety of pastries on offer including their famously delicious custard tarts. They have a couple of small tables but really it is a take away place.
C. L.
A fantastic Portuguese coffee shop serving up delicious pastries & superb coffee/tea. The choice of pastries is extensive ( and all very tempting!) The coffee is strong & delicious, the nata cakes are simply to die for- perfect flaky pastry with soft, super sweet egg custard centre......
Lisboa has a basic decor and limited seating availability, but with incredibly low prices for amazing quality cakes & coffee, it is always busy.
The staff are polite & friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
If you are in the area- don't miss this lovely cafe.......
R. G.
Amazing Pastel de Nata, even better than the one I had from Manteigaria Bolhao in Porto. This place is definitely worth the queuing and the hype. I also had another tasty treat but unsure what it was called. I did take a photo to make my family envious. The Pastel de Nata was eaten too quickly for a photo. Coffee was great too, not too bitter. Came to a total of £4.45 which I don’t think is bad at all in London for a decent sized coffee, a pastel de Nata and this other donut thing 😊 Can’t wait to go back again!
C. J.
Love this place. Me and my wife go to this place every Saturday. We always orders crossiant, cheese and ham pastry, coffee shot, pastal de natas and any sweet savouries. It small shop but it very popular and there is always queue inside. …

The Best!! I felt like I was visiting Lisbon for the day the best Pasteis de Natas
Highly Recommend
R. S.
Delicious, traditional Portuguese patisserie. Good service too!
A. P.
Grey local bakery serving the visitors and local Portuguese community. Reasonable price, cheaper and better than any chain coffee place.
C. H.
Superb!

Very nice and authentic place. Fantastic selection of cakes and tarts with reasonable price. Love it. …

I'm a fan of pasteis de nata. While these are not the best I've had in my life, they are definitely among the best I've had in London. Not so sure about the coffee though.

Great coffee and pastel de nata

One of London’s best patisseries a must if you are in the are. They have a wide variety of pastries on offer including their famously delicious custard tarts. They have a couple of small tables but really it is a take away place.

London’s hidden secret for some of the best pastries, coffee at very reasonable prices.
It is Portuguese themed and you’ll have a great selection of Nata ( Portuguese eggs tarts), coconut cake (so good btw), bacalau ( cod fish croquette) + plus more.
It’s close by to Portobello markets and a great to end up.
G. C.
Visited by the great and the good, lisboa is famous for its Portuguese cakes and coffee. Prices are exceptionally cheap in comparison to some of the chains and this is a family run business that has been there for decades...
B. D. S.
Great selection of pastries and sandwiches, super coffee, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended
m. m.
Good quality and large selection of Portuguese pastries etc.
Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.
Glad to sY returned after a few weeks and the cakes and coffee are as good as ever
C. Y.
Staff are very nice and friendly! Love their classic egg tart very much!
S. S.
The Best!! I felt like I was visiting Lisbon for the day the best Pasteis de Natas
Highly Recommend
O. L.
One of few places left where you find charm, originality and no nonsense ambience. The coffee and Portuguese natas are a must whilst you may need to queue to the popularity, it’s worth the wait. It’s pocket friendly too, so you can afford to invite friends and family!
a. n.
My favourite Portuguese cake shop. Been going since I was a child and its absolutely my favourite cake shop ever. They sell fresh cakes in the morning. I brought around 17 cakes for £21. Great price and great value. They also have sandwiches, soft drinks, hot drinks and many small dishes. Best pastry.
J. T. C.
Amazing traditional portguese patisserie. The ambiance is old and simple, but the food is amazing. Try the pastel de nata
T. J.
Best pasteis de nata around and other portuguese cakes at very reasonable prices. Staff is lovely and helpful.
E.
Great place. I really enjoyed the pastel de nata and bf loved his custard bun. The cappuccino was excellent as well! Better than a lot of pricier places.
T. C.
Cafe Lisboa is by far the best in London for fresh Portuguese pastries & cakes ( freshly baked instore) ....aswell as savoury delicacies. Obviously accompanied by a good coffee.
R. S.
Delicious, traditional Portuguese patisserie. Good service too!
J. M.
Lisboa patisserie ive been going since i was very young with my family always we go for a coffee and cake great service
C. S. B.
1311 Reviews speak for themselves, as do the queues on a daily basis. Lisboa is a local institution that attracts crowds from far and wide. Try the Famous Pastel De Nata for a true authentic taste of Portugal. Highly Recommended!
L. M.
Wonderful patisserie. Food is fresh and tasty. Gets very busy.
K. N.
One of the few remaining authentic places in Zone 2. The atmosphere of the place makes you think you magically transferred yourself to Portugal (discount the local weather). Loads of baked goods and reasonably prices coffee.
C.
Long lines here and definitely worth the wait! Enjoyed the “napkin” pastry the most
C. W.
Love the Portuguese egg tarts. Tastes traditional enough as it brought me instantly back to my childhood days 30 years ago! Skip the mini tarts as the regular ones have the best egg custard consistency.
O. C.
Visited first time to try out their nata. Came just at the front end of lunch and managed to get the last few so get there early if you want some. Their pastel de nata is nice with crispy flaky pastry and a signature burnt top. Taste was good though custard isn't as creamy as others. Costs £1.35 each. Plenty of other delights to try as well if they do run out though. Accepts card payments minimum of £5. Nearest tube is Westbourne Park. Enjoy a taste of Lisbon in London!
C. V.
Delicious and authentic Portuguese pastries at a great price. Will definitely return.
J. S.
This place is verry nice and friendly it's a tipe off miny super marquet with averithing in it you should try it 😀 😉 😄 😊 👍
A. S.
Go there early! It's very popular amongst lovers of Portuguese pastries and you're likely to miss out on most of the savory ones after 3pm ;)
I've never eaten inside, always take them home , but there are some spots to sit down inside and outside with a cuppa coffee
H. F.
Gorgeous food!! I wasn't familiar with a lot of the baked goods, but it was absolutely delicious...All of it! We chose a selection of cakes, pastries and fresh rolls. What a gem to find here! 🤗
G. E.
I pleasantly enjoyed the experience of the food and service when I went. The cashier was extremely helpful in helping me decide what foods are nice and what good combinations go with them. Overall, the food was nice and it had great desserts as well as the drinks and the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend you to visit Lisboa Patisserie to try the excellent food that is served
C. H.
Superb!
C. B.
Great typical Portuguese pastries, delicious fish cakes and good coffee and juices! Affordable price!
J. P.
This place is an institution, always a queue here. Probably the last coffee shop in London where you can still get coffee and a cake for less than £5
C. F.
By far the best Portuguese deli in London.
I have been eating here for close to 40 years. It was always a weekend treat to get Lisboa after we got our hair cut a couple doors away.
Not sure it’s had much of a refurb in that time but it doesn’t make a difference to the range and taste of pastries on offer.
Yes the nata’s are amazing but so are the croissants and custard filled donuts.
This place is one of the best you’ll find and they have a shop opposite that any love actually fans will see in the movie and it’s filled with fresh bread, cheeses and fresh cold cuts.
Just join the queue and join the Lisboa fan club and you’ll definitely not be disappointed!
Ș. B.
Always a pleasure to come back and grab something if I’m in a rush or just want to stay there and enjoy my time.
Fresh and tasty all the time!
M. M.
An amazing find a vast assortment of Portugese pastries. Decent coffee with tables inside as well as outside.
謝.
I am in love whith the hot chocolate here
R. L.
Delicious Pastel de nata, probably the best in London. Orange cake was so yummy too.
Quick service, friendly staff, coffee could be better though.
RECOMMEND!
r. c.
Nice place but not enough tables to sit and have coffee and cake .
E. A.
I had a lunch with pastries and Latte Coffee at Kensington and Chelsea in West London.
N. G.
Great coffee and pastel de nata
S. D.
This place is just amazing, some of the best pastries around, savory snacks as well as sweet treats, with lovely friendly service. The variety is amazing with egg and cream filled filos, baked desserts and the classic egg/custard tarts, all fresh, all delicious, what more could you want? Check out the neighbouring store across the road also for more Portuguese treats.
M. L.
The lady was quite surprised when we ordered 9 cakes for 2 people, to eat in 😄. But I can only say it tasted delicious! All the different pastries they are fabulous. Paid 17£ for 9 cakes and 2 cappuccinos which is very good price! See you next time!
F. D.
Truly authentic Portuguese patisserie (like being back in Portugal). Delicious pastéis de nata custard tarts and other Portuguese patisseries. The coffee was also reasonably priced but the decaff cappuccino I ordered was burned and tasted awful. Also it was so hot it burned my mouth on the first drink. So I wouldn't recommend the place for coffee. But if you love Portuguese patisseries, this is the place for you.
A. M.
We went here on the 5th August, around 10. As it is during these time, it is permitted only 3 costumers at once ( which we understand ). Although when we arrived there more then 5 inside. Once we entered after they have left, there was 4 of us ( another costumer was leaving ) and my daughter was told to leave. Staff were quite rude. Great pastries bad service
m. L.
Best place for some afternoon snacks and coffee. Inexpensive and good quality.
C. f. d. F.
It's 2h away, but it's worth every mile
At 2pm they had cakes still coming out from the kitchen (hot!!!! Fresh!!!!)
L. M.
The legendary and must stop place for anyone looking for a taste of the finest Portuguese pastries and savoury goods. The owner Carlos has been at this establishment since I can remember. They have great coffee and their prices are very reasonable. This is the closest you’ll feel to Portugal without actually being there. My only suggestion would be a refurbishment to be made as everything looks a bit dated.
D. V.
I can understand why a few of your reviewers don't particularly like the cakes - although delicious for most people they are quite sugary - but how anyone can claim that Lisboa is expensive is beyond me. The first time I visited it I had to check my change to make sure that nothing had been missed out. It is a friendly, shabby, cosmopolitan place serving really good coffee and freshly prepared food. Pleasant staff. Because it's so good it is often overcrowded
T. R.
This place is wonderful. It’s completely no nonsense, no frills and just does everything right. The ordering can be a bit manic but once you have that box of deliciousness in your hand all will be forgotten.
We have ordered the natas for ages but have recently tried some of the other cakes too and all have been wonderful.
You can sit in or outside. They take card. They have a selection of savoury and sweet items.
R. L.
Possibly the best custard tarts in all of London. Lovely pastries, you really can't go wrong here. Well, unless you don't order the custard tarts, that would be a huge mistake because they're excellent! They are really only to be eaten fresh however, so I'm afraid you have to eat them all asap....so order lots and gobble the lot guilt free!!
M. L.
Excellent selection of authentic Portuguese bake and cuisine
Natas outstanding delicate and flavoursome. Always worth a visit
S. F. H.
This place makes me love London. Everyone is welcome here and you feel it. The patrons are from all over the world / all walks of life and you end up having conversations and encounters you wouldn't have anywhere else. The staff are lovely and remember you. Oh, and the coffee & pastries are delicious too.
N. A.
The pastries are freshly baked and very Portuguese , the outside seating arrangements are not good though they don't seem to have put much effort into making sure that customers are still able to relax and enjoy their Portuguese treat whilst still being Covid safe for that reason I only give 3 stars
M. H.
Nice place for coffe and traditional portugueses bakery.
J. L.
Big variaty of portuguese cakes and pastries, freshly baked everyday. Everything delicious. Only down is that it's a bit difficult to find where to sit when busy times like breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. But still love to go there.
J. G.
Always busy so you'll be lucky to get a seat but so worth the visit even if you just buy cakes to take away. The Nata tarts are amazing.... always order a couple more than you think you want.
S. P.
I’ve been going here since I can remember and have never had bad service. The food is cheap and the cakes are delicious, the coffee is the best I’ve had in London and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. 10/10 will always recommend this place.
T. N.
Simply one of the best, most authentic cafés in London. Does not cater to trendy types or tourists (that is not to say they are unfriendly, just that they don't need to try and be Uber hip). Very fair prices, good coffee and the best custard tarts this side of Lisbon
S. R.
Can get very busy over the weekend. Have great cakes at great prices.
M. F.
To all Portuguese who miss some typical pastries from our beautiful country, this is the place to go. The staff is lovely, the stuffed palmiers is DIVINE and the coffee.. Oh the most amazing expresso I had in the entire London. So happy to be able to taste home outside and on the other side of the road, there is a small shop with portuguse products as well. Recomending this to everyone that comes to London and all Portuguese spread accross the country!
J. S.
Local institution for its custard tarts. However, more than that on offer. Really good selection of pastries. Good coffee. Very popular destination, especially on weekends so not always easy to grab a seat at peak times, especially when the market is on. Highly recommended.
R. N.
A very unique place with very tasty pastry. I think resembles a lot of a 70 bakery, not fancy at all. But people are staying on huge line for their delicios cakes and pastry...I guess from outside you would easily mistake this place for a bad one, but hopefully if you decide to go you won't regret it.
You can eat in (if you find a place or take away).
J. G.
Absolutely totally amazing cakes and friendly service- smily gentleman explained to me and my husband some very interesting facts , helped us buy several sweets and a very nice coffee. A wonderful place to buy traditional Portuguese deserts!!!
S. P.
Terrible coffee but lovely desserts
D. D.
£2.95 for a latte and a custard tart, both excellent, remains one of West London’s great bargains. And take out custard tarts with some fruit (perhaps with some yummy baklava from Joe’s bakery just down the road) make an easy and delicious dinner party desert when you can’t be bothered to cook!
C. M.
My favourite place for breakfast. I go here at least once a week. Best cakes outside Portugal and better than many of the cake shops there. Very reasonable prices as well and lovely staff and atmosphere. Always busy because it's so good. The shop across the road also does excellent hams and cheeses as well as good Portuguese goodies. Free street parking on a Sunday and pay and display for all other days.
They also do the most amazing birthday and celebration cakes.
m. a.
When you see Portuguese people queuing at a Portuguese bakery you know you are in the right place
O. Z.
This Amazing little traditional Portuguese Patisserie is great
V. P.
Well the reality lives up to the reputation. A real authentic place. Excellent coffee, the natas are legendary, friendly helpful service, and at a price almost unseen in London! I'm so glad I visited. This will be a regular stop on my London visits. Obrigado!
N. M.
Very authentic and a big range of sweet and salty pastries, too sweet/sugary for my tasts and a bit too expensive. Staff could be more friendly.
K. (.
Always spectacular and unique things to eat
J. T.
This lovely Portuguese patisserie sells delicious Portuguese cakes ,if you want real coffee, delicious sandwiches then this is the place to go. Your can eat in or take away. Good customer service. 😊
D. G.
Oh my... what can I say about Lisboa that hasn’t already been said! I think the fact that my family consistently goes back even after 30 years means something about the stature and quality of this place... more so than any other.
The fact that they managed to keep the quality the same over the years without really increasing the prices, means that you’re getting quite literally the best deal in London by going here.
I hope it never changes and always keeps its quaint feel and rugged charm! Man, I just love this place
V.
Delicious variety of freshly baked Portuguese cakes, extremely popular place so you might have to queue for a little bit. It's worth it and those few minutes will hopefully give you a chance to some how choose 🤗
F. L.
Excellent place. And the delicatessen? Really affordable prices and that taste, that flavours which only real Portuguese food can bring make us feel
R. B.
Patisserie was great, best Bola de Berlim I’ve had in London. Coffee was aweful and boiling hot. I nearly had to go to the hospital because it burnt my tongue.
J. G.
I’ve only ever been for the Pastel de Nata but every time it is wonderfully delicious :-) it is also served with classic euro cappuccino, which makes for a great holiday like experience in London
S. L.
Delicious cakes. Pastéis de nata are highly recommended and you can also order a delicious birthday cake
M. B.
Super little coffee/cake shop selling traditional Portuguese produce. Coffee is superb and the pastries delicious. The friendly, local atmosphere encourages you to stop for "just one more" coffee - maybe two!
L. L.
Fantastic Portuguese coffee shop. Lovely pastries, everything is Portuguese traditional! Also the coffee is cheaper than elsewhere in London, and of course is a proper coffee!!! In front of the patisserie there’s de delicatessen with the same name, by the way, very good as well.
S. A.
Excellent service amazing pastry
L. S. M.
Very authentic Portuguese cafe right in London - obviously never the same as you'd get in Portugal, but closer than any imitator. Portuguese pastries seem to have been getting more popular lately but this is the place to go for the original experience if you don't want to head all the way to Portugal itself.
K. B.
This branch of Lisboa is fantastic. Lovely genuine welcome and very organised. You can takeaway pastries and coffee
M. P.
Excellent as usual, very busy and limited space but normally if you wait a bit you cam get a table and quite often people are happy to share their table. All the cakes are excellent and the coffee is hot!!!
R. O.
The best custard tarts (pastel de nata) I've ever had.
J. L.
Delicious cakes.....proper coffee!
P. C.
Amazing atmosphere. Never been to Portugal, but a probably don’t need to now. Coffee and pastries were great. Not the tidiest shop I’ve been in, but who cares. Cheap too.
A. T.
Best cafe in west London. Not messed about with, just good coffee and cakes done quick and cheap. Lovely staff too and a great shop over the road
J. L.
Really authentic Portuguese cakes and coffee. Wide variety, absolutely delicious and good prices. The downside is that the place is soooo crowded, there's normally a queue so you need to rush your decision when you arrive to the counter not having time to even see all they have as there's is so many people. There's lot of Portuguese pleople there which is a good sign
A. V.
Tasty Portuguese cafe so it's best to come early as there is always a que. Everything is made fresh been coming here since for over 15 years. It's the place my father comes to get goodies for special occasions such as Xmas, new years, birthdays ect. Plus lovely staff.
j. l.
Lisboa patisserie, have portuguese traditional cakes, and they are veeeeery good and the price is lower than the average. Not a big place and the decor is not the greatest but nevertheless I enjoyed my time there.
H. C.
Was good, could be better if had fresher look. Everything else was good , we try few different pastries, would be a plus if they had a toaster for crispy croissants with ham and cheese... wee will come back definitely
A. B.
A real old Portobello / Ladbroke Grove institution that's I've been going to for 30 + years - sadly one of the few remaining. A proper, authentic Portuguese Patisserie, inexpensive and the 'pastel de nata' are as good as they are in Lisbon. The only downside is it's often hard to find a table, esp. at the weekend, but that's a recommendation in it's own way
O. “.
Amazing Portuguese Patisserie! If you like the traditional custard Portuguese pastries then this is the best one in London! I love it ❤
S. B.
I love this place! You may need to queue, as this place is very popular, however, this very well worth it!
Small Portuguese patisserie with incredible selection! Great coffee as well. 👍
N. C.
They make the best rice cakes ( my fav), lovely Português cakes, pastries. Always busy in the morning, especially on the weekends. They make lovely birthday cakes as well.
M. G.
A great little place that doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is. If you're tired of the ubiquitous hipster cafes offering more and more complex coffee and food choices, this place is for you. The place is bustling at most times, especially at weekends, so it might be difficult to find a seat instantly but the turnover is so quick that if you wait a while you'll find a place. The family atmosphere is genuine - seems like most customers and the staff likewise know one another and neighbours come together here to say hi.
The cakes are rich in the Portuguese eggy version of creme patisserie, the sandwiches have a generous portion of filling of your choice and pastel de nata are to die for.
S. S.
Finally London has discovered this lovely Portuguese spot. Yet the place hasn't sold its soul. It s still as authentic as it can be. While everybody is aiming at the classic custard tart you might want to go for Paõ de Deus. My coconut heaven :)
T. T.
Love natas! So fresh!
J. A.
I loved this place reminds me of home !!!
H. K.
Lisboa is a small and quaint Portuguese patisserie and coffee shop situated on the end of Goldborne Road. The prices are low and the quality of the pastries and the coffees are fantastic. It becomes fairly crowded as it is a pretty popular spot as the pastries are so delicious so grab a seat quick!
C. R.
Nice environment. Fresh cakes very delicious! Is just the place that loos really old fashion..not many seats as well! They really should do a refurbishment asap
T. S. P.
Best natas in town, excellent reputation that is well deserved. There's often a queue and always loud Portuguese conversation. This is where all the ex-Portuguese come to for coffee and cake. It's easy to see why.
L. P.
Not too expensive comparing to other Portuguese shops but soooo busy!! I believe there were times were we could find more different things to buy in store or maybe it happens because of the season.. great staff
A. M.
Every time I come here I want to buy a little of everything. So many options of delicious Portuguese deserts, very popular with the locals and there's always an enthusiastic queue.
S. F.
Lovely Portuguese cakes 🍰
J. J.
Wonderful selection of cakes. Authentic way of serving coffee the Portuguese way; long espressos, short lattes etc. If only London had more of these!
S. K.
Amazing products, very good quality, sadly Saturday afternoon there was not much left to buy. I would advise to preorder ( if possible)
C. L.
Best Pastel De Natas in London without a doubt.
R. C.
A fine local place offering very affordable simple portugese fare. Go for the custard tarts / natas. They sell out every day. Plenty of pastries, cakes and savouries. The dark roast coffee is ok - I'm a huge coffee fan, so while I wouldn't go there just for coffee, I accept it along with my lunch while at the office.
P. C.
Fantastic place best Pastel de nata in London!!! Highly recommended:)
D. A.
Actually the expresso is of the burnt variety, beans being roasted to the French style burnt beyond redemption! Cheaper prices then charged further down the rd towards Portobello rd with their rip off price structures, unfair as their rents consume most of the price but not compared to the completley Unfair Council Taxes and Licence fees. London's shops and other small establishments have to pay to trade on our streets! Oh and the Fresh yes FRESH cakes and sandwiches they make are nice too especially the not too sweet 'Rice cakes and sweet deep yellow custard tarts they sell. The coffee is not to my taste the beans being of the over roasted variety already mentioned.
S. M.
Bakery style cafe' with the Spanish twist of their parfumed recipes. Two only tables in..you can consume a standing coffee and grab home their delicious pastries and cakes
D. J.
Bitter disappointment at travel restrictions mitigated somewhat by availability of quality foreign food. For certainly this outlet produces food that satisfies my inner primitive being.
E. M.
Good quality Coffee and cake shop

I ordered two coffees and two pastries and the cashier asked for £5. My reaction was "how much?"
Lisboa Patisserie doesn't only offer amazing Portuguese pastries (you can easily get a whole week's calories in one single pastry!), but a trip back in time -a time when Golborn Road was a neighborhood of immigrants, bringing their recipes and customs from all over the world, long before Notting Hill became "Notting Hill".
V. L. &. B.
The right place to eat Portuguese Pastel de Nata. When l eat my Portuguese Pastel de Nata it makes feel in Portugal 🇵🇹.
J. G.
Absolutely stunning find in Goldbourne Road close to Trellick Tower. Family run affair which has been catering the local community for many many years. Wonderful Portuguese traditional pastal de natas, and they are simply such a great treat!
S.
Lovely genuine Portuguese patisserie, cheap prices for London average. Delicious coffes and sweets. Nice, real vibe.
J. C.
Amazing Portuguese pattiseries. I recommend strongly.
S. G.
Excellent choice of pastries took me straight back to lisboa 😊

Looking for one of the best Pastel de Nata in London? Lisboa Patisserie is your place! I had two, and both were absolutely delicious.
Before visiting Lisbon in 2015, I regularly had a little sweet thing at one of my favourite coffee shops in London called Portuguese Tarts. I always liked them, but since I have been to Lisbon, I realised that they are nowhere near as delicious as the real thing, Pastel de Nata.
Without hesitation I embarked on a journey to discover the best Pastel de Nata in London. So far, I have found some decent ones, The Coffee Jar in Camden for example has a pretty good variety. But today I went to Lisboa Patisserie in Notting Hill and I think, I probably found the best Pastel de Nata you can get here. This doesn't mean that I'm not continuing my quest to taste more of them, but really, the two I had at Lisboa Patisserie were heavenly, tasty, authentic - and it will be hard for any place to top this.
But it is not only the food. The shop looks simple, and in that this place also reminded me of some of the tascas, traditional no-frills restaurants, in Lisbon city centre. By having a large blue and white tile painting of Lisbon on the wall, Lisboa Patisserie added to this feeling. For a moment I probably almost thought I was back in Lisbon.
Lisboa Patisserie is a busy place, so it could be hard to find a free table. But the good news is that you do not really need a table anyway. Just get some sweet treats for takeaway and enjoy them on the go, it doesn't make them less delicious. I will definitely be back to sample some of their other pastries as well.
G. V.
You will find there the best pastéis de nata in London as testified by the presence of a constant crowd in this small cafe of the animated Golborne road.
j. b.
The spot to sip a galao, cortado or bica coffee while eyeing the comforting mounds of traditional Portuguese pastries.
No frills here, neither conceding to fashion nor fad; a get-on-with-it sensibility.
Pasteis de nata paradise, the displayed produce here speaks volumes needing no interpreter.
The proof is in the pudding - so go on then, join the queue.
L. o.
Amazing pastries, staff always kind and welcome. Be ready to queue no matter the day, its a popular pastry shop among locals.
H. D.
Authentic Portuguese deserts and coffee
O. F.
A hidden gem. Highly recommend. A true taste of Portugal in Notting Hill.
D. L.
Everything looks delicious and is delicious, haven't tried all of them but one at a time. Please do try if you are I highly recommend this place.

A.
Lovely old school pastry establishment with authentic Portuguese food. The best Pastel De Natas in the city.
J. C.
If you want a taste of Portugal look no more. From the moment you walk in it's like you are in a typical Lisbon patisserie. Great espresso and wonderful pasteis de nata.
A. P.
One of my favourite places to eat. The coffee is great and the cakes are perfect. Couldn't recommend this place enough!
N. g.
Great local people and place to delight an tasty nata or other Portuguese sweets
O. P.
One of the very coolest Portuguese coffee shops in Town.
A. A.
Great Portuguese coffee and the only place (??) in London where you can find a pasteis de belem (aka pastel de nata) as good as the original ones in Lisbona.
G. P.
Good cuppa, nice friendly Cafe, also lovely tasty cakes and biscuits, serves hot or cold other meals. Good value for money well worth a nosey.
L. G.
Landmark bakery with a very cosy authentic Portuguese vibe. Great for a coffee, tea or soft drink with a selection of cakes, tarts or sandwiches.
C. D.

Best Nata
P. R.
Fantastic coffee and the custard tarts are legendary. Nice to see a independant family run business in london. Highly recommended.
A. C.
I lived in London in the late 80's early 90's and it was one of my favourite places. Anytime I visit the City I go back to enjoy the great coffee, pastries and place. Going back in a couple of weeks!
S. M.
Good service!
E. S.
My introduction to Pastéis de Nata, the inimitable Portuguese custard 'tarts'. I'd say I'm nearly a connoisseur of cakes and pastries, and these are excellent. I'll be back for more.
G. S.
Keep doing what you’re doing.
Honesty, humility, affordable prices and a vortex of great taste. Parabéns, continuem assim!
J. S.
Best Portuguese pastry in London! Needs a bit of improving on the presentation though, the place looks a bit dirty
J. N.
Great patisserie but the staff needs a intensive customer service workshop, especially for the blonde old polish woman. Wich makes all experience a shame.
M. T.
Best Portuguese egg tarts in London!
M. C.
Wonderful place lovely cakes and pastries recommend to anyone. Once tried wont regret and will always go back for more 👌🤩
J. W.
If you feel like having a slice of Lisbon in London this is the place. The cakes are amazing. Hope the would make the interior abit warmer.
H. d. s.
Samsung store is the best thing for anyone who wants to buy phones and laptops and tablets.
S. C. C.
A traditional Portuguese coffee shop off Portobello Road. If you are Spanish a miss traditional Spanish sweet you will find them here.
G. W.
The egg tarts are the best anywhere in the universe. I like to buy two or three and eat them with a short coffee outside. Beautiful.
I. S.
Nice place for coffee and cakes .
J. S.
As the name implies, it is a really tipical small Portuguese patisserie.Try the Bica (small Expresso coffee) and have the iconic Portuguese Pastel de Nata, sprinkled with cinnamon. They taste delicious. The "Bolas de Berlim", (looks like a ball shaped doughnut, with no central hole), are also a must !
Y. N.
Lovely local gem with freshly baked pastries and decent coffee
B. S.
Favorite natas they make :) great !!!!
S. Z.
If you looking 4 or air from home as a Portuguese I advise you to visit Lisboa on top of this opposite they have have a shop which sells all Portuguese stuff
R. M.

J. C.
Very highly recommended. Great coffee, freshly baked pastries on the premises and reasonably priced
J. R.
Victims of their own success mean long queues but the wait is worth it. Delicious coffee, ham and cheese croissants, natas
M. J. S.
If you're into Portuguese patisseries, it's the place! Great expresso, even better "pastel de nata", not to mention the "Bolo Rei ♔".
K. M.
Delicious Pastel de nata and coconut tart 😍😋 from a secret gem I found in West London 😊 I was told that this cafe is very popular among the Portuguese in London so I wouldn't question the authenticness of the Pastel de nata here, especially seeing almost everyone was eating one or two 😁 The most important is it's only £1.15 each, a lot cheaper than £2 average elsewhere in London!
J. A.
A little bit out of the center of town, but worth a visit for some really authentic Portuguese pastries. If you get nothing else, ask for a custardy pastel de nata.
H.
Good but sometimes staff are talking too much with outhers so we need to wait.the shop should be more big with more space to seat
M.
Love it, best Natas (custard tarts) ever. I'm sure I read somewhere that Mourinho used to come. If it's good enough for him...!
E. s.
The best, lightest pasteis del nata in London for sure
K. B.
Lovely pastries! It's quite busy and small and not toooo comfortable to sit in so I'd recommend to pick up the pastries to go.
H. F.
One of the best places for Portuguese pastries in London. It would be better if the Pasteis de Nata are served hot.
P. C.
Cake and coffee, what more do you want? You have to go to cafe Oporto over the road if you want your ham & cheese croissants to come toasted though :(
J. L. L.
I am Portuguese and i can say that this lives to the high standards of the good portuguese pastery. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a snack, cakes or coffee.
S. B.

J. D.

G.
The pastry are exceptional.
Unfortunately it is always crowded, sometime with que outside, and it is difficult to find a place to seat.
C. N.
If you are either a Notting Hill local or Portugese this is the place for Pastéis de Natas. If you walk all the way down Golborne Road towards the brutalist Trellick Tower, you will find this place, usually with a queue extending all the way outside. If you can't make it to Belem is Lisbon... this is a good cheap alternative.
D. L.
The Portuguese pastries and savouries are sublime. The Coffee is not what it used to be.
N. Y.
It can get very busy in the morning but you do get good quality coffee and great pastries for a fab price....
