A hidden gem! Their pastries are just amazing with great quality butter watering your mouth and with very well-defined flakes. The almond croissant is my favorite in London, very crunchy and the filling is top-notch. The cinnamon bun is a masterpiece with thin layers crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The hazelnut pain-au-choc is a bit too sweet to my taste but the valhorna filling is just irresistible

Some of the best pastries ever without exaggeration! Absolutely try the Kouign Amman, you won’t find anything else as buttery, flaky and caramelly in life
Only wish the staff were a bit friendlier :)

There is no better sourdough than the one these guys make and you cannot change my mind! Their pastries are absolutely fantastic and the staff is always super friendly, especially the two hispanic girls.

Available for the public on weekends, people start queueing at 8:20. A great variety of very fresh bakes, high quality ingredients but way overpriced! A cheese twist will set you back £2.50 and a tiny tart £3.50. Bread price is average for London.

Lovely sourdough and sweet pastries. Wonderful staff. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

One of the best bakeries out there. Their panettones are to die for (Christmas come faster please)

Absolutely worth the trip. Had their butter croissant, kouign amman, and cheese thing - all were delightful can't wait to come back again!

A-mazing little bread place. It's actually quite big to be fair and queues to match. They have a large bakery area under the railway arches which supports the large volume of bread and other condiments that they bake.
These are the original bad boy bakers of bermondsey and you can often find there products started many shops in and around South London. Their bread is of high quality especially the white sourdough. The Swedish rye is extremely popular you have to get in early to get some. I love their pain au raisin and brownies but my waistline definitely does not!!! All in moderation I am told.
You can order ahead but this can be a bit more tricky. It's extremely popular on the weekends and there are long queues so be prepared for this when you arrive. The earlier is definitely better.
Coleman coffee is right next door and is is honest apart of it. although they are separate companies.
Be aware of these guys don't do a loyalty card (which the little branch in pimlico do). The prices are very recently gone up which is probably in line with the increased costs of materials and of course a London living wage.
Overall a fantastic bakery that's well worth a visit and trip from wherever you are!

Great bread but the price of the pastries is way too high for what you get. The recent price increase did not help too. I am afraid I will be paying more and more for the "brand name" than the actual quality of the products.

Just great!! Our little pilgrimage site- The carb sanctuary. Bread and pastries of the highest standard.
