C. W.Delicious. Accepts card. Affordable. Extremely kind staff. As a foreigner, I wanted to try a traditional pie & mash and they took the time to both explain what was in the liquor and show me what the stewed-jellied eels looked like. Enjoyed every aspect of my lunch.
M. C.It was good but NOT amazing. The mash was good, tasty actually, good salt and sweetness balance, but the pie was too wet on the bottom; the minced beef had good taste as well; all together good to try.

A. P.An iconic peckham business. Its nice how traditional this place is and i used to enjoy coming here as a child. Definitely provides the traditional pie and mash shop experience for anyone looking for that.
However, actual food, value and standard is ok. Unhygienic practices such as taking cash from customer and then serving me my pie using same dirty fingers. They touch all pies with their fingers and bare hands.
Mash portion very small, and varies customer to customer. Women get served less mash than men.
Pie doesnt have that much meat in it and doesn't taste that flavourful.
Better value and quality traditional pie n mash can definitely be found elsewhere.
