These guys to l do vienoisserie right!!
Excellent bakery and variety. I've been here a few times and whilst I keep missing the croissants (I don't have a car and live far away. I can't make it before 10:00 a.m. and they're sold out! It just goes to show how good they must be!) everything else I have tried has been top-notch. I love that they use sourdough in everything which adds a nice tang. The cinnamon buns are buttery and incredibly soft. The babka is delicious and chocolatey, the peanut butter cookies are bomb! Tried both the egg and salmon sandwiches. I love that they add tons of fresh herbs and even a touch of pickles to the egg. Great texture and flavor!
If you can get a hand on their savory danishes I highly highly recommend!!!

Tried them for the first time today and I must say their pastries are amazing - I loved the salmon and spinach pastry and the cinnamon rolls! Not great on coffee, but definitely worth 5 star for the pastries. Do try if you're ever in the area.

Thank you for keeping us locals supplied with delicious bread, pastries and other supplies during such a challenging time. My partner and I love popping over to treat ourselves to the delectable delights you offer! Highly recommend cinnamon buns, the Margot and the almond croissants.
O.
The breads and customer service are top notch.
I used to drive 30min and wait in line another 15min to buy bread. I would buy 4 loafs, even though they are big.. we just gobbled them all up!

This is our favourite bakery in London. I'm an American expat, and it's the ONLY place in London serving proper bagels with the quintessential blistered crust and just the right amount of chewiness (seriously, we've tried all the rest on offer in London - they're unboiled, bland, squidgy bread rolls). My only critique is that I wish they offered more bagel flavours, but it's a small bakery and it only churns out high quality, from sourdough pastries to delicious sandwiches, and our preferred indulgent treat - babka - so I don't need the extra bagel calories. We regularly travelled from South London to visit before the lockdown, and can't wait to again soon. In the meantime, the starter we got when we bought her book, and the wide range of recipes (sourdough hot cross buns, sourdough crumpets) will have to tide us over. Despite running a business, Michelle is very responsive to messages and has helped me with baking questions. I also love the way the team are looking after their local community during this crisis, businesses like this one deserve our support.

I love the bread. It's the best around but the 15 minutes waiting time for one loaf of bread is a little bit too much. I would rather pay double the price for delivery than waste 15 minutes of my life everytime I want a bread.
J.
I appreciate that everyone probably has their favourite bakery in London. But if isn't Margot, then I'd have to say they're wrong.
Margot do some brilliant coffees (I go for a latte personally), all available with a range of milk alternatives. I believe they have Soy, Oat, Almond and potentially one other (don't quote me there).
My only criticism is that they do not have any sort of initiative for reusable coffee cups. I'm not a fan of the huge coffee chains, but I would like to see these guys follow suit here.

I came here because of reviews. But I was a little disappointed. No even Hi or Goodbye..I came before the closing time so I took my croissant home. One of the ladies didn't know what the pastry contained, but the other lady corrected her. However, the croissant was nothing extra and prices are very high... There is 10% service charge as well if you're eting in.
D. H.
Great bread and pastries, worth the wait. Wholeheartedly endorse efforts to give their staff reasonable hours, protection, and break times - I'm buying a £4 loaf from a local bakery, I can afford to wait 20 mins! If more places afforded their teams this balance we'd all probably end up happier at the end of the day.

I've been coming to the bakery last 6 or so months, once I even turned back without getting anything since I didn't have enough time to stand in the queue. Regardless of that I still cannot recommend it highly enough.
Their almond croissants are a bit heavy but incredible, some of my other favourites are also the cinnamon swirl and chocolate babka (though be careful when asking for a slice, the size is very generous!). They do different menu every day and you always get surprised. The muffin is always a good bet though since they experiment a lot, I haven't seen my favourite one more than once (apple and cinnamon). Looking forward to their new inventions. Oh and don't forget the bread. Their signature bread is a must buy (though I still mourn the rye bread), don't get tired of it even after eating it for months. That richness of taste promised by the sourdough is exceptional.
There's usually a queue, especially since their service days reduced so expect 10-15 minutes of civilised and Covid safe queue at most times. I promise it will be worth it. Though come in the morning. Stuff sells fast and few times I went there in the afternoon I only found bread (great but not all I had hoped for!). I couldn't find fault at the staff who worked tirelessly throughout this pandemic. Be nice to them and they'll respond in kind for sure.
Again, I cannot recommend the place highly enough...
S. P.
Amazing viennoiserie, bagels and chocolate babka. Need to return to try their famous sourdough.
Z. J.
The sourdough loaves are excellent. Also noticed they do babka and cinnamon rolls which are probably my favourite types of baked goods - a return visit is needed!
Edited - went back for the babka and cinnamon rolls. Both delicious. I'm not sure if they do the sweet challah with tahini every week or if it was just a High Holydays special but it's really really good. The plain sourdough challah is quite different from a "standard" challah - it's really interesting and very delicious - would definitely recommend trying it.

I’m a regular here, and there’s a reason. Great produce , bread and coffee!! I also love the fact that they are community minded with their various initiatives during COVID-19.
D. O.
Have visited a number of times and been baking from the excellent book over lockdown all I can say is this bakery is an absolute gem in the area. I have not personally found another bakery which uses sourdough (giving such depth and conplexity of flavour) across such a diverse range of products from croissants to babkas to hot cross buns etc. It's genuinely a unique establishment. Superb.
M. O.
I am a regular customer but I do not like the new heritage flower being used. Do I have a choice? Max of Church lane
S. T.
Try their pastries once and you will fall in love with them. So spongy and delicious. I often visit this place when I have cravings for pastry.
Will definitely recommend!
Y. A.
They might be a bit lacking in the smiles front but their almond croissants are the best. And the chilli sweet potato (or was it squash?) pastry is delicious. And the Geronimo seeded sourdough and sourdough challah, just have to remember to order it in advance. Great coffee too.
J. J.
This place is great and bakes lots of interesting and delicious breads, cakes and pastries, some of which you won't find very often in mainstream places here in the UK (like chocolate Babka - amazing!). Its well worth a visit (one is not enough in my experience) and they deserve a special shout for a genuinely heroic effort over lockdown to keep serving - the treats definitely kept us going!
J. W.
I have just had the best! Cinnamon bun I've ever tasted. I have frequented many a bakery and patisserie but this is amazing, I stumbled across this very small bakers, but this is no reflection of the big taste you get from there cakes, I managed to get there early so they had a large selection of pastries. Wow ! Can't wait to come back and sample some more. 5 stars
N.
I've been meaning to visit for a long time but only really tried out during the pandemic. Everything here is delicious and well thought-out. The coffee and the sourdough are truly exquisite. A neighbourhood gem.
M. C.
I don't use Google reviews enough to praise people...so here's me doing just that. Love this place! Best sourdough loaves n London and believe me i've tried (nearly) all of them, as well as delicious pastries, babka and great coffee
E. S.
Local baker makes excellent sourdough based breads. The New York Rye with Sourdough is our favourite. The coffee is also very good. During Covid time this has only been takeaway and worth the wait as there's usually a line for this great bread
J. C.
Wonderful bakery with lovely staff who are kind and patient. The dedication to the community to stay open at this time is brilliant. Whilst is it not easy to be socially distance having a weekly visit has made life all the easier. The peanut cookies are amazing and a top favourite in the household!

Bread, bakery goods - 5/5
Customer service - 3/5 - hit and miss. Encountered a very nice girl at the counter earlier today (think she was Italian, seemed new - very nice). Unfortunately there are also two other ladies there (have been there since we remember), who are just not quite as pleasant and most of the times make me feel like I am offered a favour to be able to buy their bread/pastries.
So all in all, great food but hit and miss when it comes to customer service, which is a bit of a shame.
G. R.
Best bakery in North London, if not all London. Margot Bakery serve quality products, change them constantly, which keeps it interesting, not to mention their amazing sourdough. Keep in mind you gotta be an early bird to get what you need, because everything is so good they sell out very fast! Personal favourites are the bagels, cinnamon rolls, croissants with cheese, the New York sourdough and anything that has rhubarb in it.
The staff is amazing too, specially when you are undecisive about what to take, because eveything is so good I usually want to take a little bit of everything.
K. W.
Before we even started supplying our deli with Margot's wonderful sourdough bread and pastries my husband and I would be at her bakery once a week to try her babka, cinnamon rolls, that amazing hot chocolate, flat whites. I fondly remember in the early days when they had vegetable stuffed pastries, and oh those croissants, the cookies...the list is endless when it comes to the creativity, attention to detail and heart and soul that runs through her products. One needs more businesses that do this very thing--taking the time and effort to create something for the customer that is essential for the stomach and frankly the soul. My family are just so happy with her creations and so are my customers. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way!
L. W.
Just popped into the bakery this morning. The food is always delicious and of high quality. I've never had a problem with service here but have read the negative comments posted by other customers. I just wanted to praise the counter staff. The young man who served me (sandy hair and glasses) was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Being served by him was an absolute pleasure. The woman serving another customer also seemed pleasant and friendly. This is a busy bakery, and often staff are faced with quite a queue. This is great for business but must be quite stressful for the servers. Don't avoid the bakery just because you may not always get a smile or a hello, especially at busy times. Customers that I have encountered there are not always that courteous or aware themselves. It's a little gem!
K. J.
Love love love this place. I am incredibly picky when it comes to cafes and bakeries and this is a local gem. We come here most weekends and even though always very busy (good sign and delighted for a local business) they’re polite and friendly. Savoury croissants are amazing, bread is incredible. Love that the flavours change all the time. Only wish it were slightly closer to our house (north Finchley) but then possibly bad for my waist line... Open another nearer me!!!
N. S.
Just adore this incredible bakery. We don’t live very near but often have cravings for their sourdough or a pastry. Have often been disappointed as they run out of sourdough fast so my only wish would be for a larger place to enable more bread to be baked! 🤞🏻🥰
B. b.
Parking can be a pain. It's not the bakery fault.
Greta sourdough bread and very friendly staff.
T. C.
The bread is delicious and the new ordering system works a treat and you can avoid the queue. Really happy they stayed open and have served us and others through the lockdown. Looking forward to more normal visits in the future.
C. D.
Phenomenal local bakery that we are so very lucky to have in Finchley. Been visiting since Margot opened, it was amazing back then and just when you think it can’t get any better, it does. Everything is delicious but the babka, cinnamon rolls and savoury croissants are my personal favourites. Whenever I go I pick up a Margot loaf and it stays fresh for ages. Prices are very fair for the quality and special ingredients and the service is polite and efficient. Hope they stay around for many many more years.
B. R.
I can only comment on what I’ve been able to learn from the owners book ‘modern sourdough’ but it really transformed the great I make. As a novice I really appreciate the detailed instructions and most of all the results!
Can’t wait to visit in person once COVID is done.
M. C.
The quality of food is excellent and the prices okay, but the customer service is poor. Though now retired, so very rarely go, I have just asked if they have any egg sandwiches and the reply was they were only doing salmon today. The reply should have been 'sorry, unfortunately, we only have salmon sandwiches today' or along those lines.
A.
Amazing baked goods, love the rye sourdough and the Cinnamon buns... Everything baked fresh. Small place but very popular so at times there may be a queue but it's worth it... Can't believe the negative views.... You get good quality bread and cakes at a decent price.... Myself and my friends are very pleased to have this place and meet here often for coffee and cake😋
M. W.
I want to begin this review my saying that I am a big fan of Margot Bakery. I have been coming here regularly for around 6 months buying fresh bread and cake (The Geronimo & Margo sourdoughs are my favs) Everything I have tried from the bagels, orange polenta cake, double baked croissant, sourdough baguettes have been excellent and I would recommend. The coffee is generally good but slightly dependant on who makes it for you, it has on occasions been outstanding!
One word of caution, this bakery has rightly become popular and during the busy times of day customer service can be a little stretched, I would not go so far as to say rude but I would say perhaps its been a little curt on occasions recently. Overall however well worth a visit.
M. P.
Bread worth dying for! Seriously now, probably the best bread you can find in North London. If you like Gail's bread - Margot's far better. I wish they sold their breads in supermarkets so that I won't need to walk far from Finchley Central.
A. S.
drove all the way there to try their cinnamon buns and they had sold out at 1.15pm so not a great start. i ordered one of the savoury croissants and the rugelach which i usually buy at another bakery. the rugelach is left uncovered in front of the door which is kept open, they should really have a lid for it because it hindered the taste, just dry and not as nice as i thought it'd be! i had high expectations so was a bit disappointed, the lady who served me was lovely.
P.
Great quality bread and pastries. A decent, if not fantastic coffee. The seating is limited, so don't expect a sit-down cafe, better suited to pop in for a takeaway coffee and pastry. They don't offer breakfast or brunch items.
A. G.
Margot is magnificent. Everything is delicious. The only negative is deciding what not to eat. In the current situation they are being efficient and considerate to all in keeping up with demand. Be polite to their staff folks, they deserve the same respect you would accord to anyone.
J. R.
Lovely looking and tasting local bakery.
N.B. I've read some of the other reviews. I love the owner, standing up for her business. Customers can be so vile sometimes. The entitlement, nay almost the desire, to pick apart the efforts of small businesses. We reap what we sow. If you want bland, efficient and tasteless "perfection", go to your local "corporate" retailer. Then complain, no doubt, about the lack of diversity in local retailing.
E. B.
Lovely bakery with delicious bread, cakes and coffee (oh and amazing egg sandwiches). Nice to have a treat to look forward to on our lockdown walks - thanks Margot and your team!
A. F.
During the current pandemic, service is from a counter blocking the entrance. Their almond croissants and sourdough loaves are excellent. Regrettably, they did not have bagels.
l. b.
Amazing local bakery super fresh goodies . Great coffee and good sandwiches 😊
I. P.
Margot is a great family run bakery! The breads are full of goodness and taste great! The cakes are delicious and wholesome with lots healthy ingredients. They also try to use less sugar for some cakes. I particularly enjoy the five seed bread but also more unusual breads like beetroot or potato breads. I just moved into the area and I can see that it will go from strength to strength driven by owner Michelle. She is a great example of how when you love something you can go all the way. Her passion for baking is reflected in her breads.

I was recommended to buy the margot sourdough and to my delight it delivered on every level. In the last two weeks I've visited four times and with each trip I have tried different breads and pastries, each one more delicious than the last. The baguettes are an absolute marvel and the best within a five mile radius. The coffee is also pretty good, specially with the almond and chocolate pastry. A real jem of a bakery and one I will be visiting often for my weekly bread supply......
D. V.
I’m a sourdough lover and found them on Instagram. Went there for a little brunch with a girl friend. I had a cheesy croissant and she had a cinnamon challah (I think). Both were delicious. The woman serving us was really nice and relaxed. We even got a sourdough starter kit. Heartily recommend!
K. L.
I live on the same street and couldn't believe my luck when the bakery opened in 2016. The sourdough is as good as anything in the East End and the coffee is the best in E Finch. Staff are really friendly and efficient and it has a few handy tables to sit at for breakfast or lunch. Great cakes too if you are in the mood for something sweet. All Margot's recipes are vegetarian.
Z.
Fantastic bakery, such high quality breads and pastries. Tasty coffee as well, serving Oatly oat milk for those that care. The croissants are out of this world too, so glad they're down the road from me!
C. C.
Amazing bread, different amazing pastries every day. It's my new favourite north London bakery! Shame they open late and close early because I cannot go on the way to or back from work. Oh well, it will remain a weekend treat.
M. H.
Everything is wonderful but Almond croissant is the best I have ever had. There are some negative reviews about the services but I have to defend the staff who are lovely and very helpful. It’s the best and our favourite bakery in north London.
J. J.
I didn't mean to be rude, and of course you and the staff deserve to rest I was just upset as I travel a long distance to buy the bread and then go home empty handed. I have tried to bake bread at home but it isn't as delicious as your bread. Thank you for making amazing bread.
J. C.
I always look forward to being in the vicinity of this lovely bakery in East Finchley. The staff are always friendly & attentive and the baked goods & bread are just the best! I have often been know to go out of my way for a sneaky visit to pick up treats & have one of the best coffees around.
f. h.
Love the breads and I am very happy to have a bakery like that in East Finchley .
I just got my loaf and was informed that you don’t do the loyalty card for a free loaf of bread anymore. Now that is a shame. I do like supporting small companies and have recommended this bakery to many of my clients who now purchase your products regularly
Loyalty cards are a good tool for repeat business and I am surprised to see that you have stopped it
C. H.
Baked goods we're quite tasty but customer service was brusque/rude. I love cinnamon so I asked which item might have the most cinnamon flavor... Straight face and no answer... Yes she spoke English. I then chose a slice of a cinnamon loaf but requested not the dry end piece to which I received an audible sigh and a non-subtle roll of the eyes ! I was polite and want to patronize your business and give you my money and that's how I'm treated? Be kind.
G. F.
My weekly treat is a loaf from margot. A kind gift of a starter has meant my husband has been trying to emulate your new york loaf.. I pray he stops trying soon and I can buy the real thing again. Delicious!
D. M.
I visit this place every day even if it means spending £15 on one pastry, a loaf of bread and some eggs (no I’m not kidding) 😭😂...but the experience itself is miserable. The staff (especially on Fridays) are soo unfriendly and downright rude. It would be nice to experience some pleasant customer service once in a while!
J. A.
Today me and my little boy went to barbershop on the high road, while we were on the long queue we decided to pop in to the next door which is Margot Bakery, and it was amazing, The atmosphere is nice, small and cosy, Food feels like homemade tasty and healthy! I was amazed that we have such a good bakery locally, what a lucky person me! ))
D. B.
I've always been a big fan of this place with delicious coffee, pastries and breakfast/lunch offerings. I decided to book part of my sister's hen party here for 8 girls and we had the most wonderful, fun experience!
Michelle and her staff worked so hard and gave us an opportunity to have a go making croissants, brioches, fruit tarts and pain au chocolat. Plus they put on an incredible afternoon tea spread for us! Once everything was baked and ready the next day, everything was devoured in no time at all.
I would of course highly recommend coming here for some delicious food and coffee, but also for booking small events like I did, for a totally fun, and memorable experience and a chance to support local craft bakeries like this.
S. W.
Absolutely incredible bakery!! I travelled almost an hour to get here from Hackney and it was 100% worth the journey! The rugelach were the best I have ever ever tasted (and I've tried a lot!) and the savoury pastries were super tasty too. Will not hesitate to make the journey again as I'm now desperate to try everything they bake! Anyone who hasn't given them a 5* review is quite frankly an idiot.
C. L.
Thank you for the delicious bread, the wholewheat flour and, most importantly, the kind and fulsome chat - I was so stressed when I arrived and I really appreciated your kindness. Thanks to everyone in the team for keeping going and providing such delicious food through lockdown!
K. M.
I am slightly new customer as we recently moved to the neighborhood with my Husband.
I find the food and people just absolutely lovely and the quality is really good-we were living in New York where food is very competitive and amazing and this bakery/cafe is one of the best.
I actually just wanted to check the opening time today and saw all the negative reviews and i am honestly shocked.
First if you don’t like a place, overpriced and long lines- just don’t go again instead of complaining and find your perfect place!
Second in my opinion people that sit down and put the time and effort and energy to write such negative reviews about a little local Bakery/Cafe, have more deeper things to figure out about themselves!!
And last, we people tend to never understand the other perspective- the people working in the bakery are humans too, might have a long and difficut day and if you don’t get the smile or perfect croissant you were hoping for- it’s OK! think about yourself on a bad day and how you handle things!
S. B.
Well worth the journey to get here. Everything I’ve had has been amazing - challah, babka, sesame seed bagels, savoury croissants, and really nice coffee. The staff are always so friendly and patient answering all my questions!
K. R.
Margot bakery produces fabulous sourdough bread and even more uniquely, sourdough viennnoisserie which as well as being something of a technical feat are to my knowledge unobtainable anywhere else in the country! The favours and weekly specials ensure that there is always something new to try on each visit. The passion and care that goes into all of their products is evident.
On an almost weekly basis we travel halfway across London to go to Margot Bakery which should say it all. Definitely worth a detour!
E. J.
IMHO Margo’s bread is the best in London, let alone N2. They have looked after the community throughout both lockdowns and kept us eating well and sourcing locally. Thanks to Margo
E. M.
Favourite local bakers - all the product is fresh, with the basics (bread, croissants) done very well.
The sourdough bread has a rich texture and flavour, and even the plain croissants sold here are more tasty than the ones you'll find in your average bakery.
Babkas are also a speciality - I recommend the tahini one.
One should be aware of a few things, though:
* You should love the taste of sourdough to enjoy the products of this bakery: It's predominant in almost everything they bake.
* Takes a few tries to find your favourites (like any other restaurant, I guess).
* Have not found it particularly pleasant to sit inside - it's a bit crowded and the noise from the espresso machine does not make it a relaxed place for coffee (unless it's warm enough to sit outside).
L. A.
A charming neighbourhood bakery which I make a point of visiting as regularly I can despite living on the southbank. The baked goods are inventive and delicious, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Their babka is an absolute dream!
G. K.
The best EVER!! I used to work at Margot’s and its lovely. I still call in regularly because the coffee and food are amazing! The perfect little bakery!
I. D.
Excellent almond croissants and bread. Well organised social distancing. You buy what you want at the shop door and pay by card. Recommended
B. K.
The most amazing bakery so grateful to have it on my doorstep. Delicious cakes and bread and top service always Thank you 🤩❤️👏🏼

I write in support of this bakery that seems to be getting some nasty and personal reviews lately from some very self important individuals.
I refer in particular to the review from Brian Rock who I can only assume was the rude individual that I spoke to in the bakery today. As a completely independent person who has no connection with this bakery other than as a customer, I find that some of the other customers like you seem to think that rules do not apply to you or that this is some sort of fast food joint. I have no doubt that you will be the first to moan that the high street is becoming homogenous and then act in such a way that makes it difficult for small businesses to survive.
This is an independent small business that doesn't need to be verbally threatened with poor reviews or staff belittled when they apply the rules. I for one am happy that you will not be using the bakery again. Please follow through with this threat. The staff do a very good job here, sometimes under significant pressure. I doubt they are well paid and perhaps people like you should remember that when you expect Michelin starred service.
And as a final comment; excellent sourdough products, with a particular shout out to the coffee (with chocolate), geronimo bread and pain au chocolat. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
S. G.
I was lucky enough to win a celebration cake that Michelle donated to the East Finchley Festival this year. It has to be my best raffle prize ever! I had the most beautiful and enormous carrot cake to take to a family party that was much admired. All the bread I buy there is amazing, We are so lucky to have local bakery like this and it's a real asset to the area.
A. K.
We are being enticed into becoming regulars because of the quality of the offering. It's clear that a lot of thought and passion goes into your baked delights. My favourite are the lemon, almond and pistachio croissants. Contrasts in textures and flavours that deliver perfection.
L. N.
Just popped in as desperate for a cup of tea.... and they had tables so we could sit inside, and parking outside. There were some samples of carrot cake and chocolate babka. Not knowing which to have, I chose to have the carrot cake and take home the chocolate babka for my husband. My friend had the cinnamon & apple bread & butter pudding. THE BEST. Will definitely go again. What a fantastic find. Thank you.
Y. B.
Wow wow wow. The croissants are sublime. Don't go for the plain croissants. You are better off at pret a manger. But they kill it with their chocolate raspberry croissants and almond croissants. Also please try their sourdough breada. Go for the wild garlic one. Amazing!
P. M.
Amazing food esp. chocolate almond croissants babka and anything peanut based. Sandwiches very good too just beware this summer does' open 'til 9 (retreating home at 8.20 as I type)
K. M. L.
Almond croissant dry and pastry not flaky. Cinnamon bun excellent though. Only 1 choice of sandwich
G. F.
Best baked goods I’ve ever had. And I’ve had quite a lot.
Edit - since did a breadmaking course here and it’s made me love the place even more.
e. r.
We need more places like this in Finchley. Simple and yummy baked goods, very good coffee. The tahini babka is must try. Have only tried their savoury foods ( quiche) once but it was slightly underwhelming and overly salty. Overall this is a find!
A. T. T.
My friend got bread and peanut butter cookies from Margot's Bakery for our lunch Yesterday.
I couldn't stop eating the bread!!! It was amazing! Definitely recommending this bakery to all my friends!
M. G. R.
Good coffee, pastries (2 that I tried) really good. I missed to buy a loaf of bread but they looked delicious by shape and look.
Nice place
A. S.
Great bakery, been open this whole time during covid and offers a great social distancing snack and coffee. The chocolate rolls are soooo good
C. S.
I could eat everything on the menu. It all looked beautiful. The chocolate babka was perfect and best I've had in london. Worth travelling out to.
Z. R.
Gorgeous Sunday morning Almond croissants and cappuccino. Absolutely Devine. Friendly staff and lovely tables to sit outside. Thank you Margot bakery
S. R.
Lovely bread - such a treat during lockdown! And thank you for selling other much needed items at the moment, especially oat milk :-)
N. Y.
Great bread and cakes. All made from sourdough. Very expensive. Service ranges on occasion from rude to mediocre. And they should get their opening hours straight they keep getting them wrong and refuse to even apologise.
A. B.
Delicious bread and pastries....coffee is good depends who's preparing it....lovely Bakery...
G. D.
Lovely service, amazing shortbread biscuits as well as peanut butter. Raspberry frangipan slice just melts in the mouth. Definitely coming back!
A. P.
Absolutely delicious rhubarb and apple pastry. We will definitely be going back for more!
D. E. S.
Great Bakery in East Finchley. Always fresh bread and pastry. Only the coffee they serve could be better.
X. Y.
Ridiculously overpriced. Rather poor customer service from the owner herself on a number of occasions. You will find better places for the price, somewhere that you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. Products OK but nothing to write home about.
S. R.
The quality is really good but prices are very high and service speed is quite slow.
E. L.
Lovely place pastry’s are out of this world you could tell that they were freshly baked as you can normally taste. I can defiantly rely on for my pastry’s.
L. F.
This bakery is so outstanding, every bite is made in heaven. One of our favourite is the 5 seeded bread. Lush.
J. C. M. S.
Charming bakery with products of excellent quality and great taste! The love for baking is reflected in all of them.
L. C.
Best ''BAGELS'' I have eaten, been told they are 'sourdough', really filling and tasty , love the bread too, still got some from sunday and its still good , a very good Bakery, best wishes*
M. H.
Regular visitor here. Best Mocha you can get anywhere and both the pastries and egg breakfast options are delicious!
P. M.
Tremendous sourdough and exceptional pastries. Thank you
J. S.
Everything in this cozy bakery is absolutely delicious. Addicted to the signature Margot bread. <3 Simply amazing.
D. F.
Love their bread, bagels and Babkas and lovely service from Diana and Milena today - thanks for my free nibbles :)
I. J.
Best multi seed sourdough bread and almond croissants 😋 in N2
L. F.
A real treat for the taste buds. Perfect bread and pastries with a difference.
H. Y.
