Reviews of Santa Nata
Supposedly is one of the best places to buy pasteles de nata, a traditional Portuguese dessert/pastry. It was tasty, however quite hot as they are taken out from the oven straight away. Attention was not the best unfortunately I have to admit. However, do go and try the pastries or ask to takeaway. These are put in a nice presentation inside a box, perfect to take to a friend’s tea party, for example.
These custard tarts blew my mind. As a big pastry fan in general I’d say they were some of the best I’ve ever had & would highly recommend!
Delicious Portuguese pastry and cup of tea for £3.75 in Covent Garden. You can see them being made. Recommend
Eating this pastel de nata was almost a mystical experience, no joke! 😛
The flavour is so rich, it tastes like nothing I have ever tried before. It has a lemony aftertaste, you can definitely distinguish flowery notes and probably a hint of vanilla. I am serious when I say that when I ate it I thought I might have peaked, I think this is the best taste I have ever tried in my whole life 😊
I will definitely be back
Professional service, beautiful and clean shop and what is most important beyond delicious Pastel de nata that immediately brought Lisbon to my mind.
Great to have found this place today, really tastie Natas and perfect washed down with an espresso. I went back twice in one.
The green tea was a bit dissapointing.really hot and it tasted like cheap tea.but the pastries are quite delicious.the filling was a bit too sweet for me and after eating 2 i felt like i had enough sugar for the whole week.the texture it was nice and crunchy and the middle was a bit runny because the pastries were still hot when i bought them.
The best pastel de nata you can get in the UK!
Simply delicious!
Great place for a coffee and Portuguese tarts
It’s really really tasty. The dough is unbelievable amazing. The best Pastel I have tried. Better then the ones I have back in Lisbon.
Coffee and dessert is great
These natas/egg tarts were the best tasting treats ever! We came back for more the next day and sprinkled some cinnamon and powdered sugar on top! The staff was so nice and funny too!
Yummy pastels de nata, beautiful café, a lovely lovely place to try!
Some of the best and freshest Portuguese custard tarts I've had in London, well done you guys!!!

Seriously serousl good! Those Pastel de Natas are so amazing.
I will be coming back following lockdown. So so good!
Very delicious and warm Pastel de Nata. Very traditional Portuguese pastry. The best you can get outside of Portugal
These tarts are so nice when eaten warm! They are not cheap at £2 each, but really is worth the money.
Amazing pastries and good customer service
A great to place to get a freshly baked pastél de nata.
It's expensive but so far it's the best place to get some very well made and flavourful.
Amazing custard cakes. Totally addictive
Great coffee and pastries. Friendly staff. Would rather give my money to an independent trader than the coffee behemoth across the road.
Best pastel de nata in London
Wow!!! The best pastel de nata we’ve ever had. (And we’ve tried a few) Light, crispy, flaky pastry with a warm, thick, oozing filling. Yum!
Amazing. Not much else to say. Just try them you will be blown away.
Best Nata I've had since Lisbon!

Simply delicious.

Words are not enough.

Tiny spot for wonderful Portuguese pastry.

Best nata in London
Favourite tarts💛
Good
If you haven't had a pastel de nata here then your trip to London is not complete. Conveniently located near Covent Garden. Recommended.
Love Love Love!!
Incredible & delectable
As a Portuguese person, I always love to see a Portuguese person "conquering" the world, it makes me happy. However, my experience could have been better because my cream wasn't even toasted, and the filling was too "porridge", soft. The 5 minutes that I saw they put it in the oven are not enough to give the true flavor of the cream.
The best custard tarts in London and perhaps the world...
I found it by chance while passing by. My friend ate it because it was so delicious. It was a Porto-style egg tart. It was warm, crunchy, and sweet..💛
A bakery offering a type of dessert filled with custard.
Delicious and fragile..
(Translated) Covent Garden is a beautiful London neighborhood with wonderful shops. Magical atmosphere in the cosmopolitan metropolis of London! A must visit!
(Original)
Covent Garden è un bellissimo quartiere londinese con meravigliosi negozi. Atmosfera magica nella cosmopolita metropoli londinese! Assolutamente da visitare!
Good price, the cakes melt in your mouth without the bread ceasing to be crispy.
Best Pastel de Nata in London for sure!
Worth trying and repeating the experience. But note the taste of Jurfa.
Delicious pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart), with lovely crispy crust and creamy custard, served with a nice cup of coffee. Perfect to warm up on a chilly day!
Very very very delicious
Amazing service, amazing coffee, and tasty pastéis de nata, so far the best ones i ate here in London. I loved it. Definitely I will come back!
Santa Nata is named after the home of the original Pastel de Nata from the parish of Santa Maria de Belem in Lisbon, Portugal.
You can now get them in London next to the Royal Opera house - Pastel de Nata (Custard tarts) are crisp, flaky layers of pastry with a delicious, creamy egg-custard filling and a dusting of cinnamon. Yum!
You can eat them in the shop with a coffee or take a box home with you. It cool that you can see the Pastel de Nata's being made on the premises.
This place now does the most amazing vegan custard tarts...a must try.. melt in mouth taste
The little cakes are amazing, incredible tasty and soft. They are to day for.
However, the chocolat was to sweet for me
