No1 doughnuts in London! Soft bread and very tasty cream. I tried vanilla and chocolate. Both are good but I like vanilla very much. It is not so sweet and not oily. I will try sandwich and sourdough.

I wanted to compare the Breadahead doughnuts with St John, but I love them both. Fantastic bread & you can also pick up St. John wines at this location too. Well worth a stop before heading home from London. Ps forgot to mention the sandwiches.

Good doughnuts but I would not go out of my way to get them. Very generous and jam packed filling, soft buns and not oily.

I’ve had the best doughnut here, don’t miss it. Their restaurant is also the best in Barbacian.

Amazing vanilla doughnut in London hands down 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Hot chocolate was pretty good too if you don’t like sweet hot chocolate, I would recommend to ask for less sweet or add more milk :)

Lovely shop for doughnuts and other pastries! Their doughnuts have various flavour; chocolate, raspberry jam and vanilla!
Got the chocolate flavoured doughnut and it was good! The packaging was nice too!
Overall have a really nice vibe and decoration and feels to this place, on top of great doughnut!
Will try the vanilla doughnut the next time! :D

Oh my goodness, the donut was delicious. I had a chocolate one, they are absolutely full to bursting with filling, the chocolate filling was delicious, nothing like the usual cheap rubbish you get in a supermarket. The donut itself is probably the best I've ever had, and I've had warm graffi on the beach in Italy!!!
The cinnamon bun was also very nice but the donuts are where it's at!!

What happened to proper doughnuts with a generous helping of jam filling, and covered in sugar (that's granules not powder)? I went on the hunt today - Crosstown, Tescos, Greggs, Doughnut time... none of those will do. So decided to try St John's. OMG it was like a jam explosion... the filling is more like a compote but so generous on the filling, and a proper doughnut covered in sugar. At £3 a piece, a bit pricey but as a treat well worth it. Definitely my go to place for a jammy doughnut. My only criticism is that they need larger paper bags or boxes, 2 doughnuts stuffed into a tiny bag could've been disastrous on the way home. By the way I still rate Pippin doughnuts as the best but alas can't seem to find them in London anymore :(

They had a range of breads to doughnuts and, as it was december, mince pies. Tried an eccles cake, pastry very flaky, but the filling was a bit too chewy for my taste (given it was my first eccles, dont really know how they should taste though). My friend tried a doughnut and that was apparently very good.

The best doughnuts I’ve had so far - the doughnut itself was light, not too sweet, perfect texture and the filing (I had chocolate) was lovely, perfect proportion and matched the doughnut perfectly

A delightful wee hidey hole of a bakery, tucked away in the charming cul-de-sac of Neal's Yard.
Bread, pastries and other delights are baked fresh, daily, and served by a welcoming, knowledgeable team.
One of London's culinary institutions, none of St John's locations across the city should be missed.
Of particular delight was the rum & raisin pastry knot.

Simply one of the best bakeries you will ever go to. The staff are helpful and friendly. The quality of the baking is phenomenal. Unadulterated, pure, and brilliant. Would 100% recommend the butterscotch doughnut. The lady there stuffed it right there for us as there were none left. Thank you

Warning. You’ll want to buy everything in the display case. But if you must pick - the mini loaves we’re delicious. 😋

Seriously couldn’t decide what doughnut to get. They all looked super yummy. The store was super cute. I ended up getting the doughnut with jam and ate half of the vanilla doughnut that was initially for my friend. Soooo tasty. Definitely recommend it.

Beautifully classic taste, no bells or whistles. A lovely doughnut with a classic vanilla filling staying true to St Johns traditional English heritage and flavours.

Great donuts! Filling was very tasty and the donut was fluffy but firm at the same time.

Best Doughnuts in London!! Just the right amount of sweetness. I dream about them every night.

Very friendly staff, tasty croissant, and the raspberry doughnut was yummy too

Just the best bakery you can have. Very nice staff and large selection of buns with amazing stuffings. the buns are freshly baked and sold in a very reasonable price which also taste really good. The nearby neighbourhood is also very "instagram-friendly" with a lot of artistic decoration.

Dounuts here were supremely delicious. Lots of flavours and fillings to choose from alongside other baked treats. Tried thier hot cross buns too which were excellent.

Located at the corner of Neal's Yard. Delicious breads and pastries – and not too expensive. A 'small' (about 8 slices?) rye loaf was £2. Friendly staff. Will return for a doughnut next time!

DOUGHNUTS! There’s not a lot more to say about this place. The pastries are bloody great too. Shame there’s no espresso coffee or teas available but I appreciate they’re sticking with their specialty. Everyone should go there.

Hmmmm. No need to write a long review. Simply the best donut I have ever had. Loved it.
Will be back soon 🤩

Fantastic doughnuts, my personal favourite is the raspberry one, totally recommend.

Delicious doughnuts. Not a fan of Eccles cake but that's due to my personal preference for sweeter offerings.

The best donuts around. Hands down! Their claret and champagne are pretty great too.

Excellent fresh doughnuts

Amazing selection of pastries and wine - staff are willing to help and are full of knowledge of their products. Reasonable price too!

(Translated) Very delicious bread and donuts and a small wine shop.
There are a lot of scenery that you want to take a picture just by visiting here.
There are a lot of shops leading the UK now in a little in depth. The small square is also nice with green.
I bought donuts with caramel and lemon cream.
Both taste sweet and modest for adults to enjoy. The dough is also cool and delicious.
Caramel is particularly delicious with bitterness and I regretted to buy it one more morning the next morning.
Nowadays, bakers in England are making the most passionate foods with sourdough bread.
800g is large and 400g is small. You can see that the fabric extends well from the outside and is strongly swollen.
It seems that St. John is also selling bread to restaurants, so you may already be eating without knowing it.
There aren't many varieties, but there are serious bread in this shop.

(Translated) You can have the most delicious donuts in London. This restaurant is also open in east London and the restaurant is also delicious. Please drop in if you come to the Neal's Yard. It is only take away, but there is a small square in front of the shop so you can eat there. It's really delicious.

(Translated) One of the best sandwiches I ever had.
Must try it!
The bakery I found by chance going into the sidewalk and sandwiches are the best. I ate ham sandwich, mustard and ham, and the combination of chunky bread is the best!
