I ordered two cakes for my birthday - carrot and chocolate. Both were amazing, and none of the guests even guessed they were gluten free before I said so (which is a special compliment in relation to gluten free cakes!). Will definitely order again or just stop by at the borough market

There are so many delicious bakes at The Free From Bakehouse - my favourite items are the sea salt brownies and the red velvet cupcakes. It's clear that a lot of time and care goes into their whole operation - we have been to their stalls and also ordered online and the service has always been wonderful. As someone with various intolerances, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything since I have found The Free From Bakehouse - everything is absolutely delicious. I can’t thank the Caroline and her team enough for baking these beautiful and delicious cakes. I ordered last minute and they had it prepared. The Red Velvet gluten and dairy free cake was hit with my partner, he absolutely loved it, shame he had to share!! Definitely my ‘go to’ place to go now, can’t wait to try all of them! I always used to collect cakes for my husband from Borough market when I used to go down to London from Birmingham for work. My husband, who has a gluten and lactose allergy, absolutely adores the cakes. Since the lockdown last year, I have not been to Borough market, but have twice ordered online. Everything went very smooth and excellent communication. My husband loves the cakes so much that I can't even recommend a favourite, although the Bakewell tarts, Chocolate Rocks, Cardamom & Fig cakes are very popular! Keep going and keep making these lovely cakes.

Amazing service from Caroline at The Free From Bakehouse, prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that the order is fulfilled as good as it can be. It's not easy arranging a delivery from the other side of the world but Caroline was always quick to respond with very helpful advice. Will definitely use them again for gluten free cake orders.

Being a (mainly) gluten and dairy free family; when we need an amazing tasting cake we always go to TFFB. This year we had Liv's favourite carrot cake, it was delicious....too much so in fact, as i lost count of how many pieces I ate. Walking around Borough Market ? YOU have to try it ! It’s a cute little Free From spot with colourful cupcakes, crunchy focacia bread and other sort of cakes. I will definitely be back again. The vendors and the owner made me feel welcomed and gave me such an amazing experience.

Needed a gluten and dairy free birthday cake and found Free From Bakehouse. Better still they could provide a courier service. What a great find. Cake (pistachio, raspberry and rose water) was moist, delicious and looked amazing - a great centrepiece. Good communications, timely response and delivered on time. Highly recommend.

Amazing service we needed a gluten and dairy free cake in a hurry for an office birthday and struggled to find any anywhere.in London that could be picked up instantly. Rung Dawn who said they didnt have any at their site but we should be able to get one from their Borough Market Stall she also gave me a choice of cake and kindly called her colleague to put one aside for me without a deposit. you need to try the coconut, mint and lime cupcake. I had it at the borough markets and it was amazing. they serve a bunch of different treats that are a range of gluten free, wheat free, dairy free etc. good value for money too.

The Free From Bakehouse offers absolutely delicious sweets free from the most common allergens. The different sweets exclude different groups of allergens, so it's very likely to find something that suits you. The price is very fair and texture and taste are well balanced. The ladies at the counter work quickly and are very friendly, you almost get the feeling of a quiet bakery despite the crowdedness of the Borough Market (I've been there on a warm autumn Saturday).
