The sponges are so delicately soft and melt in your mouth, especially the chocolate cakes. Service is exceptional too.

A. A.I do like buying cake slices from cake box now and then. The prices are great. However my husband bought me a whole cake from cake box and know one really liked it. They said it tasted to light, like something is missing. That is true. You can taste that the cake doesn't have egg in it. The taste of the cake without egg does make the cake taste as nice. I would recommend everyone to cake box only for the slices they sell in store. If you have an egg allergy or your a vegetarian then these cakes are perfect.

Still not a flop. The cake portions are quite big and reasonably priced. Around £2.50 to £3.50 each. Customised or preordered cakes are available.
