Lily tree bakery is worth the visit for anyone who has to follow gluten free eating! Sweet treats and savouries so good you wouldn’t know they were gluten free. Owners and staff all super helpful and friendly which is why I’ll support and drive through from sunderland

THE best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. Excellent for celiacs as they never have gluten in the kitchen. I always struggle to only get one thing as everything is so delicious. My weekly go to for cake pops and cheesecake pots

I love it here, I’ve been going for a few years. I find the cupcakes delicious and my husband who isn’t GF loves the cake by the slice. The owners are very friendly and are always happy and chatty. Great bakery.

Visited this place today. Very very impressed just wanted to let you know you have got another regular customer after I tried the items. Can't wait to come back in. Forget the supermarkets for gluten free this is homemade. Worth more than the 5 stars to be honest.

Fantastic products and amazing service. I haven't been able to eat a doughnut or cinnamon bun in 7 years due to my celiacs. The owner is a celiac so really knows her stuff there is a wide variety of vegan and dairy-free options as well a must-visit for anyone with any type of food allergies

Absolutely wonderful bakery who make delicious gluten-free and dairy-free cakes and bakes. The cakes especially are indistinguishable from their glutenous counterparts. Be sure to also try the eclaires, they're incredible! It's not the cheapest bakery you'll ever go to, but you won't find anything nearly as delicious or good quality anywhere else. The icing on the cake (which feels like an apt metaphor) is that it's run by two of the most lovely people you can hope to meet. Can't fault them or their bakes. 5 stars.

The Lily Tree bakery has been our go to bakery for just over a year now. They do fantastic gluten free, soya and nut free items, dairy free, vegan and meat items. The dairy free choc eclairs are fabulous, the birthday cakes are amazing we have had the red velvet, the Victoria sandwich. As 2 of us are dairy free, it’s really great to be able to get such a wide range of items so beautifully baked, in one bakery. 5 stars all round. Looking forward to the next birthday cake soon.

A breath of fresh air finding a bakery committed to everything being gluten free and allergen friendly. First thing you notice before you even walk in the shop is the smell, amazing! The selection of treats is a feast for the eyes and happy to say as tasty as they look. Very happy to say we will be using Lily Tree for our wedding doughnuts! Well worth a visit weather you are gluten free or not, you won't won't notice the difference! Finish off by say the friendliness of the staff and care when serving for allergens or preferences with diet is also fantastic. Keep up the good work!

Visiting Newcastle from Birmingham and this was first on my list to visit as a coeliac. Great choice and huge sizes. Ideal for anyone with gluten intolerance to out and out coeliacs. Knowledgeable staff who genuinely care. Cakes, bread, sausage rolls, pies and pasty's they have it all

Fantastic Gluten Free bakes with wonderful customer service. The selection of flavours is frankly incredible. If you're in doubt about ingredients check them out on Facebook and ask your questions there. They often respond fairly quickly and are even able and willing to send stock lists if you're considering making a trip and don't know what will be available. Once you have that stock list the owners are ever so helpful and will put items to one side if you're really keen on specific treats so they won't get sold while you're on your way there.

All food is free from whatever your allergy and the range is bigger and better than any supermarket and all hand baked. Pasties, sausage rolls and pies are fab and the cakes to die for. Afternoon teas are excellent and value for money and they will last over a few days as there so much you can't eat it in one sitting. (well I couldn't) 😂😋🐷🤣🤣

Fantastic gluten free produce. Cakes and savoury items baked on site, but also stocks a wide selection of GF breads and pizza bases from other bakeries. I'd highly recommend trying the pulled pork pasty.
