Used the bakery on numerous occasions over the yrs however my last couple of visits have been disappointing. Ordered quiche which had an unnecessarily thick soggy base (50%) plus 50% solid cheese mix filling. The pasty ordered while the filling was good again the pastry was overly thick & tough. The quality needs to reflect the price being charged.

The food is A1 at this bakery, scones, turnovers and Malteser slices are the best but the customer service is questionable. A smile and a friendly welcome would turn this into a 5 star review.

This little bakery is amazing. I've had most of their cakes and pies and they absolutely wonderful. Not much of a baker myself so this is great. The staff are lovely and friendly and great measures they have put in place with the recent social distancing. Highly recommend this bakery!!!

Short wait as only 2 allowed in bakery at a time, guidelines being met. Worth the wait, bought a selection of fresh cakes, rolls and pasties. Everything was delicious, favourite was the chicken and leek pasty and carrot cake. Will be visiting again soon

Lovely staff and such good food! We often go to get cakes for afternoon tea and they're always delicious! We haven't yet tried the tearoom but look forward to doing so soon!

Great for buying a huge variety of cake decorating stuff and also fresh bakery products. 4 stars rated because when I went in recently the staff didn't seem to give a hoot whether I was there or not and got my order of two bakery items wrong which I didn't realise until I was home. Not very inviting, made me feel like I was being inconvenient to go in and ask questions about how to use the product I was buying. I'd go back to buy stuff, but I won't bother asking for advice again.

Friendly staff, wonderful food. Possibly the best chicken and mushroom pie I’ve ever had. My friend said the same about her steak slice. The sweet confectionary looked absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go there again.

Excellent products and service. We bought a lot of things. Only one disapointment. We purchased a custard tart. when we got home some 10 miles away. I went to the bag later it was not in there.

I just dropped in as considering moving to the area. Covid protected. I purchased a large oatmeal type loaf which has been excellent for sandwiches and toast. There were pasties and pies available as well as traditional type cakes. A lovely shop, good food and great service.

Often buy the meat pies & pasties here, lovely pastry with generous fillings, all made by the lady who owns the bakery. Recently had one of her apple pies, omg haven’t had an apple pie as good anywhere, delicious sweet crumbly pastry with sweet apples picked from her own trees, simply scrummy. Did have to think twice about writing this review, as she may not have any next time I’m in if people who love apple pie as much as I do read this review 😢

It's a nice little bakery where you can buy lots of things to take away. Sandwiches, baguettes and rolls. They also have sausage roll and Cornish pasties etc which they will heat up for you. Tasty cakes and pastries. They do Special occasion cakes, wedding, birthday etc. There is also a nice, small cafe and a shop where you can buy lots of things to help you make your own cakes at home. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. I go to it a lot.

Absolutely top bakery. Friendly and welcoming owner and staff. We arrived around 2 pm on a Saturday. The coffee shop was closed and the coffee machine was in its cleaning cycle, but they will made us a coffee each to take away. Cream cakes flap jacks doughnuts. we brought a selection of cakes. Tasty. Good value and we will be back. Thank you.

What a brilliant job they did with the cake for my wife's 75th birthday. As requested a wonderful chocolate cake covered in maltesers, flakes and chocolate orange segments, and big enough to serve 60. Yummy!
