What a wonderful & authentic Danish spot! Filter coffee (a tad small :p) but lovely! We wanted more for sure! All the pastries are stunning! The bread….exquisite! All vegan & I had no idea which was a great surprise!! We will return to try the breakfast, open sandwiches & other goodies on offer! I love the open plan design of the cafe & how we can see the owner making everything on site! Stop by & treat yourself!

Those cardamon buns must have some illicit substances in them to make them be so amazing! Also the bread is considerably better than the one made by our award winning local Bread Source. The only downsides I see so far are only open 3 days a week and that they do not make espresso coffee, only filter. The later one can easily be fixed. Maybe I should move my espresso machine there and become an guest barista for a weekend side job.

Fraa.kost have the best vegan pastries we've ever eaten! The hot chocolate and coffees are amazing too. We love popping in, it's just a shame we don't live closer!

Popped in for the first time this morning. Found them on Instagram, gorgeous little place with a clean and fresh feel. Very tasty coffee and the chocolate twisted pastry was sublime. Bought a loaf of Danish Rye bread as well but I've yet to try it!

So pleased I got up early on a Saturday morning to sample the amazing wares! Fantastic pistachio, cardamom and chocolate pastry - (each one shared!). My favourite was the chocolate, my partners was the cardamom. Very helpful and friendly team. So pleased to have a wonderful cafe/eatery in our area - we’ll be back!

Have been desperate to pay a visit since watching the work that's gone behind opening on Instagram. I've been today and wasn't disappointed. I bought a chocolate and a cardoman pastry (for research purposes of course!) and they were both delicious. I would say the cardamon one was just my favourite as it had such a lovely cinnamon taste to it. I also discovered there is a large car park behind that row of shops that I never knew about, you can park free for one hour if you are using those shops. I can't wait to visit again with a friend, and try a drink too.

Always fresh and tasty buns. Friendly and welcoming environment. We love spending our Sunday mornings there 😊

Stopped by for some buns to takeaway and eat in the nearby park. I loved the cardomom one and my partner loved the chocolate one. Will definitely be back to try the others and some coffee or hot choc 😋

Excellent, albeit limited selection of food. Great customer service with friendly staff. There was a relaxed, natural and well presented atmosphere to this cafe. I highly recommend the cinnamon cake as a highlight. We discovered it was completely vegan which suited us perfectly also.
A few points for improvement would be the size of the oat milk coffee (tiny but tasty) and the price of the delicious danishes is quite steep, making this place more of a special treat rather than a regular coffee stop.

Loved the pastries. Absolutely delicious, and not too sweet. However the coffee was not my favourite. It seemed like they're using quite a light roast (resulting in a fairly sour drink) and I prefer a dark one. Or it could be the oat milk - I only realized after coming here that all the drinks are made with oat milk.

Arrived in afternoon when the shop is shut, but the lovely owner offered me one of her buns and as she had locked the till, refused payment. A very kind gesture, that made my day. The cinnamon bun was the best I have ever eaten. Next time I am in the area I will return, this time as a paying customer.

We want to see a Frå.kost shop in every town, that’s how good they are!
You can feel the love and care in every bite and sip you take!
Genuinely a piece of Denmark in Norfolk’s capital!

Worth coming across the city for. I had cardamom buns, others had cinnamon or the chocolate versions. These were the best we have ever tried.
Need more outlets, preferably near Stamford, then I can go regularly, not once a month when I visit Norwich. Coffee although small were delicious.

Interesting place, nice concept and offering up something new. Props for anyone setting something new up during this past year.
The pastries tasted great but very small for the money, the take out coffee was tiny too and they only offer oat milk. I feel like they should state that they are plant-based eatery (which I respect) as if like me you are going out of your way to visit you might be disappointed, especially as there are not many other options around.

Nipped in today for the 1st time and bought 4 different pastries to bring home for us to try out as a family. All of them looked great and each one was full of flavour. I will definitely be coming back to try more things.

Great place and especially the cinnamon pastry it was one of the best I had. We ordered a Latte and Flat White, I knock a star off because it was confusing. I asked the lady who served the drinks which drink is which and she said they are the same size, Which I could see but still doesn’t answer my question.. I was expecting flat white would be a stronger coffee than the latte. I am aware that every places does it slightly different. But here seems to me that their flat white and latte is the same drink. Me and my wife just felt like we just order two same drinks. I am confuse why both of them are on the menu then. Maybe just put one of them on the menu instead.

New discovery following lots of recommendations from friends. Love how authentic this is as a Danish Cafe - the coffee, the on-site-cooked food and the simple décor. And great great service. It really works for me. Feel so lucky this is on the north side of Norwich. :)

Lovely little place. Pastries were delicious and coffee was good. Would recommend

As someone who's trying to cut down on milk this place is going to be a regular stop. Incredible coffee and the vegan cakes are better than plenty of bakery cakes I've had. Top tier stuff.

Great bakery offering delicious pastries and coffee and the staff are lovely. Shame the bakery isn't open 7 days a week anymore though.

Really amazing place and great pastries. Gives me a little piece of home to savor once in a while. And it's vegan too!

I've loved Maggie's food since going to her first pop up at Studio 20 three years ago.
We just had an incredible lunch at Frå Kost, finally somewhere to get Smorrebrod in Norwich!
Top notch hand brewed filter coffee and fermented carrot Smorrebrod is honestly one of the best meals I've had in Norwich, ever.

Fantastic well curated space in an otherwise forgotten part of the city. Excellent quality in both baked good and coffee with a great service. Will be visiting on many more occasions I'm sure!

Yummy pastries, open sandwiches and coffees and all vegan too! Friendly staff and I loved being able to see all the baked goodies being made in the open kitchen.

The pastry knots are top drawer! I especially liked the high cocoa chocolate, with the bitter/sweet balance being absolutely spot on.
