Food is delicious! First lunch trip out with my teenage daughter for a very long time and we made an excellent choice. We had a focaccia each, the portions were so big we could probably have shared and not been hungry. Sat outside, busy & bustling even on a week day lunch time. Would definitely recommend and will go out of my way in future to visit.

Tasty sandwiches and plenty of options, vegetarian included.

Firstly, lovely staff. Always friendly, great customer service. Secondly, the food is amazing. I love that the menu changes around and I can get something different each day. Its always fresh and tasty and the only complaint is I can never choose what to have because it all looks great. The deals offer great value, but even if you don't use them it is extremely well priced. You definitely get better quality shopping local! I will keep on coming back and recommend to all my friends.

Great pizza from a small but welcoming restaurant. Staff are very warm and friendly, pizza cooked fresh with crispy bases and there are discounts available every day. We got 2 9 inch pizzas for £4.50 each! Would recommend a visit for any pizza lovers.

Was here on a Tabletop Gaming Industry Meeting and as missed breakfast tried one of their brunch's! It had been so long since I enjoyed a quality brunch that I could not have been more excited when I finally found a place where ones mid-morning was free to indulge. Now I have a fair few places where one would like to try but in the end glad to have tried, as the food was exceptional, the prices fair and reasonable. Space is great and the venue very open and accessible. jade the owner is friendly and great to talk to. The ground floor is accessible for wheelchair access and space enough to move around. The place does lack the facilities to allow a lift so access upstairs for wheelchairs is more complicated. The upper space is a great one for parties, social and engaging uses, including for areas like Holistic pursuits, Yoga, Pilates, Tia Chi, etc. It is also a great place to host tabletop gaming events. Went to a games event organised by the Nottingham Board and Wargames Club and H-Bar Games. The space was great for this and the usual high standard from the Store. The food range is great and and diverse with both vegetarian and other food diets are very well catered for and a real attempt is made to make sure the menu and meals all look appetising and appealing enough that even if you are a no. Vegan, vegetarian the ranges appeal. Everything is fresh and well made. The staff are also very well versed in what goes into the range of foods and allergens information.

I love it here! As well as all the great food and drink, it's a really beautiful place to hold meetings and events. We had some singing classes and a pop up stall day and they all went great. Thanks to Jade it's a new gem in Notingham

Sandwich was delicious! The cranberry, ham, spinach, and cheese were lovely together, highly recommend trying it. Covid regulations are being followed, you are asked to wait outside they serve you. Still open during tier 3. The price is fair for the amount of food you get, also the aesthetics in the bakery itself are top notch.

Pretty fantastic. Nice Italian vibe drinks were upmarket and imported from Italy, pizza was great, thin, well baked and tasty. Prices were fair, didn't make use of the very good deals but will in the future. Staff friendly, cosy seating though limited.

Had an absolutely beautiful focaccia sandwich thing with goats cheese and brie. Coffee was good too although some places have a distinct flavour to their coffee and this wasn't the case at Ugly Bread. Not a serious issue though. The seating upstairs feels really nice and cosy and service was very quick.

Food was fresh and tasty however the service given was hit and miss. We politely asked for some tap water and napkins (no napkins were replaced on our table) and the response we got was quite dismissive and brash as we were shown where to get them as if it was obvious it was self service. We didn’t think too much of this until another customer asked for tap water and was promptly given a glass which was filled up and served with a smile by the same staff member. Although we enjoyed the food, the service given wasn’t that welcoming and it really stood out when it was a quiet Wednesday afternoon with only 3 tables in. I must say, another member of staff came by our table as we were leaving and cleared the remainder of our table and she was very smiley and friendly.

We come here regularly with our 11 and 9 year olds. Lovely food for the same price as a MacDonalds. We normally have four 9" pizzas two tap waters and two teas. Comes in at £22. Between 3-6pm they do a deal at 9" for £3 so same meal comes in at £15. Outstanding quality and value. Staff always Attentive and polite. Nice chilled environment. Great mezzanine with room height windows to watch the world go by. 2019 edit - think this place has changed hands now. Pricing and location remain the same, staff still lovely but the pizzas we've had recently have been a bit soggy. I actually think maybe it's too much cheese and less origano.

Just being outside looks delightful everything cooked there! There are enormous breads that help give a perfect atmosphere of bakery. Remembers me the Italians bakeries. They have an innovative offer of food to take away which is tasty and very easy to carry,obviously inspired in Italian pizza. Is possible to realised the good quality of the ingredients used in their recipes.

I go to Ugly Bread every week for lunch the food is always incredible and so cheap for the very high standard in quality of food. If you are a student it's even cheaper and after 6pm all 9" pizzas are just £3.

Such yummy pizza at really good prices!! They have so many options for toppings as well as a "make your own salad" type thing. Theres also a good range of teas and coffees, and an events hall upstairs where they have classes and stuff. Really nice atmosphere with friendly staff and tasty food baked on site!

I have been to Ugly Bread Bakery several times and I LOVE it!! The sandwiches, flat breads, sour dough and pizzas are so good!! I particularly like the toasted ciabatta with Brie, chorizo, mozerella, cranberry & rocket... It's amazing!! The pizzas are good too as are small enough for one... The Chilli & chorizo one is seriously tasty! I took my dad in here when we were out shopping on his birthday last week.. The lady gave him a free Italian pastry to go with his coffee because she noticed the card in his had. Only something small, but really kind! Thank you! I would recommend Ugly Bread to anyone in town & hungry...!!!

Cool little café right on the edge of the nice bit of Hockley. Really friendly, welcoming staff. Good prices and really tasty freshly prepared homemade food on the menu. Tasty pizzas and sandwiches. They also do some quality hot chocolates (The Thick Italian one is good - t’is nice and rich). Good place for getting on with some uni work with headphones on Will return again, been there twice already.

Great place with an eye-watering number of variations on sandwiches. Bias is on Mediterranean flavours, which I'm a fan of. There is also a larder section, where you can pick up pasta and sauces. Great little spot to grab some essentials for your larder, if you can't be bothered to go to a larger supermarket. Next time, I'll have the coffee.

Used to be 5* but the latest rebrand/refurb has me looking for a new place to eat Pre revs de Cuba. From a great bakery, which emphasised this by having all the options on show in a clean simple store, it's now gone all hippy and 'trendy'. No longer can you buy an inexpensive pizza, sit at the window counter on a stool and read the paper. Prices have gone up and the rebrand seems to have forgotten what made this place so good. Shame
