As soon as I discovered this little bakery I became a frequent customer. Absolutely delicious bread. So far I tried wholemeal toast, regular sourdough and rye sourdough, I am looking forward for malted loaf but is always sold out. The quality and price cannot be compared to anything else in York.

Super tasty breakfast sandwiches and perfect pastries 👌🏻 it is very good value for money too and has a really welcoming atmosphere. The raisin and custard swirls have definitely become a part of my routine and made my move to York very sweet, lovely to have such an amazing place so close.

This is a real working bakery. Unlike all the chain bakery shops, this independent bakery does all the baking right on the premises. Because there is no dividing wall between the customer area and the baking area, you can watch all the bread making activity. You get reminded that artisanal baking is real hard work. Of course the smell is heavenly.

Traditional bakery with different bread options. Could have more choice like muffins, croissants or pastry. Also, offering specialty coffee to takeaway would be great.
