Amazing hotel certainly the best hotel I have stayed in, the staff are very attentive and looked after us really well. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, the showers are superb and the bed is really comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous, all you can eat from a huge selection of food. If you are staying in London this hotel is in an ideal location and we highly recommend it especially the beautiful swimming pool.

From check in to check out, this really was a 5 star visit. Front desk were friendly and helpful, my room was ready early, the hotel decor is very modern and plush. Room was clean and comfortable and the sound proofing is first class. Never heard any noise from the street, corridor or other rooms. Had a drink in the bar which is very well done out and has a wide selection of drinks. Later on had a glass of very nice wine in the executive lounge but didn't try any of the complementary food but it looked good. Really was a fantastic stay and glad I chose the Hilton Bankside.

Lovely big Room, very friendly staff, would highly recommend. I had the pleasure of executive lounge definitely adding that touch again. Only negative is the fridge in mini bar isn't cold. Will be back.

I stayed here Saturday night with my mum whilst out celebrating her birthday. From the moment we booked the room we had exceptional service, my mum requested an earlier check in (they emailed back personally), on arrival there was a mix up with the rooms (third party’s fault) and this was resolved within minutes. Throughout our stay every member of staff we met were wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and the shower is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. We will definitely be returning. :)

Very good experience. Connecting Family room was great for kids as it had a child friendly theme with goodies bag and reading books, complimentary mini bar soft drinks. Swimming pool, gym, breakfast all good. Really friendly staff and kids loved the complimentary sweet cart behind reception. Well done Hilton Bankside. Scored down due to it being slightly longer to tube and the view from the room was against a wall (despite asking for a road view)

We had a brilliant, one night stay in the Hilton Bankside. I have always wanted to stay in this hotel after attending an event there a few years ago - and they didn't disappoint. The room was spotless and stylish, the bed and sheets incredibly comfortable, and we luckily had access to the Executive Lounge which was well worth the extra money! The food and drink available in the evening was amazing. And a big thank you to Kacia, who was serving us in the lounge - she was so personable and made us feel so welcome!!!
Plus the breakfast was to die for. Just wanted to mention that too

Brand new rooms which are modern. In the executive room you get a lovely bathroom with a good size bathtub large enough for one person. Executive rooms come with a small if not oddly placed desk/ work room (note I stayed in a corner of the building room so layout may vary).
Check in staff were helpful, polite and professional. Executive lounge is a lovely space with a nice fire place. Food was reasonable in there but nothing to write home about.
Roughly five to ten minutes walk from Blackfriars station.

i have stayed a this hotel many times over several years and have always had a great experience. Good rooms, great location and a really nice resturant on site too. Always look forward to returning here

This 5 star Hotel is located at the north end of Great Suffolk Street close to the Tate modern, and has good transport connections for London’s attractions.
The nearby underground stations are Southwark and Borough which are about 8 and 10 minutes walk away respectively.
The hotel has everything you would expect from a 5 star property; it has full facilities gym, swimming pool, restaurants etc.
The rooms are well appointed and fully equipped and special touches like the luxury toiletries, bath robes, slippers etc. makes you feel very much at home and valued a guest.
Breakfast is full buffet which is excellent and of the highest calibre with a chef on duty to prepare eggs etc. Lunch, Dinner, and afternoon tea are also available. A bottomless brunch is offered at the W/E which is exceptionally good value.
The executive lounge is open throughout the day for coffee, tea, soft drinks, and for the evening social with canapés and alcoholic drinks.
The staff at this hotel certainly go the extra mile, it seems nothing is too much trouble for them; they do everything to make guests welcome, and comfortable, whilst keeping them safe.
My stay on this occasion was for business and reception were incredibly helpful; and made sure everything ran smoothly for me.
I can highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure.

A new build Hilton, very close to major attractions and the tube. We had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to the warm and accomodating staff. The over-bath shower in the junior suite was a little awkward, so Natasha took the time to show us around two different room layouts before we settled on one we liked. Perfect service from the team, and a huge thank you again to Natasha for being so wondeful!

Wonderful stay with great staff looking after us .
Our little daughter loves her new best friend MR Fox 😄 thank you so much it was truly amazing experience for all of us and please share big thanks with your staff who did everything to make sure we felt welcome and had best stay .

Lovely modern and clean hotel.
Rooms and bathroom were a good size and everything was pretty clean. I'm quite picky with my hotels and I don't really have any major complaints about this one.
2 bottles of water were provided in your room everyday with mini crabtree and evelyn shampoo/showergel/conditioner/body lotion /face and hand soap in the bathroom. If you need any dental kits / comb / nail filer / cotton pads etc. you can just message or call reception. Slippers and bathrobes (and umbrella) are provided in the rooms.
A few, not as important but basic things that were missing: there were no sanitary bags in the bathroom and no large mirror near the hallway. The only large mirror in the room was the one in the bathroom and inside the wardrobe door.
The rooms themselves were VERY dark. There weren't alot of light source (if its bright outside and you open the curtains then its fine but otherwise its pretty dark) so if you decide to work in your room in the evenings, you probably wont have much light.
The tv was also very slow to react after pressing on the control.
In terms of the breakfast, there was a variety of hot and cold food. Freshly made pancakes and eggs were available. I really loved the blueberry muffins! They have some of the best blueberry muffins I've ever had, very soft and moist on the inside. Only potential downside would be the variety doesnt change so if I had to stay for longer than 4-5 nights, the breakfast could get a bit boring.
I'm not sure of the exact hours, but in the reception, they have a sweets trolley where you can help yourself to some sweets .

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The service from front desk, concierge, room maintenance and the breakfast was just impeccable. The location is great and within walking distance for most attractions yet set aside from all the city noise. I stayed with my 12 yo and 10yo and I think its safe to say it will be our go to hotel for London:) Thank you for hospitality. The breakfast is amazing with plenty of healthy choices, the rooms are spacious. We had interconnecting rooms which is an ideal layout with the kids.

We had warm welcome from Hilton Bankside and really enjoyed our overnight stay. Staff were particularly kind and attentive, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved the way breakfast was set out beautifully and enjoyed looking at the artwork around the hotel. My son enjoyed looking for (art work) foxes as they seemed to pop up in all kinds of places. We enjoyed our use of the pool and would love to come back to this hotel again. It was in a really good location, not far from the Tate Gallery. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby and great for sightseeing.
L. H.
We love this hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff, good food and immaculate rooms. The bonus of a pool makes it our choice of hotel when I visit London.
V. S.
Every single employee went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable from greeting us at the door, chatting to the children, helping with our luggage, showing us around the breakfast room - it was a great experience. We visited as a family of 4 and the set up of the interconnecting family rooms was perfect for us with so much space and the rooms themselves were great. All the little touches of sweets for the kids and activity bags also made a big difference. Couldn't fault anything and will definitely be returning.
L. W.
Fantastic hotel and exceptional service. My family and I stayed here last weekend and were very impressed. The staff are friendly, professional and couldn't be more helpful. The room and facilities are immaculate and modern. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious with plenty of choice and great quality foods. We will be back!
A. H.
Hilton Diamond, Upgrade was negligible, most rooms apparently don’t have a nice view, but do offer a rather spacious layout (for London).
Service was great, breakfast was good but left room for improvements.
Pool in the basement, therefore no windows/natural light.
Free bicycle rental was a nice touch.
Food selection in the lounge wasn’t great.
All in all I would return if the price is right.
R. C.
Super hotel and great stay here. Rooms are comfy and clean. Brilliant service all round. The pool is lovely and not too busy! The breakfast is too salty.
K. W.
The customer service from absolutely everyone within this hotel is outstanding. It is spotlessly clean and we cannot wait to stay again!
A. W.
Very please with this hotel, absolute dead cert that we will stay here again, love modern, clean hotels and this is excellent. The breakfast selection is superb and the staff, by and large make you feel most welcome.
K. G.
One of our favorite places to stay when we visit the UK! We weren't anticipating having to quarantine there for the day after we landed and while we waited for COVID results, but the place is amazing .Very courteous and helpful staff, great lounge, and quiet. Perfect walking distance from the Tate, too.
D. C.
A clean, comfortable and safe place to stay.
Nothing was too much trouble and always staff around to assist if needed.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with healthy choices.
Swimming pool was spotless with lovely soft towels provided.
I. F.
Another excellent stay at this fantastic hotel. Great location, set back from busy roads ensuring a good nights sleep. Full and clear hygiene protocols in place at all times which instills a great deal of confidence. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the range of options at breakfast is wide and varied, catering well for people with allergies too. Hotel gym and pool operating with strict limits on occupancy too.
Easy walking distance to Borough Market and the river as well as tube and train links so a great base for exploring the South Bank area.
S. R.
We quite literally don't have a single bad word to say. From the minute we booked to the minute we left, the staff were insanely accommodating.
They made the stay both enjoyable and fun for our children.
The front desk staff were friendly, professional and incredibly approachable.
The rooms were very clean and spacious and we loved the addition of the little fox things for the children also the goody bag and sweets.
We asked the consierge to deliver our daughters surprise to the room with breakfast. Not only was this request fulfilled but he went the extra mile and introduced a basket and balloons at no additional cost.
We ordered room service breakfast on both mornings and like everything else it was amazing. The quality and quantity of food did not match the low price tag, we were pleasently surprised and very filled both mornings.
Thank you so much Hilton Bankside for such an enjoyable experience and if I could give more than 5 starts I would.
N. S.
We stayed there a nearly two years ago right before Christmas. Despite the time, it remains one of our fondest memory. The staff is wonderful. The building and the room are beautiful. The location is really nice too.
J. B.
Hotel is spectacular with Bankside in bright pink and lights, you feel like your arriving at an award ceremony, fantastic! We had a junior suite and it was well worth it. Huge room with soft mini bar, coffee machine and nice little extras. Very comfort super king bed. Was my birthday and they left a card and some delicious homemade chocolates. There was a turn down service, which again you don’t see very often these days. We to the executive lounge and it was by far the best exec lounge we’ve been to in all our hilton hotel visits. Delicious fajitas, plus lots of nibbles and extras. Again the drinks service here was very good. We went to the swimming pool in the basement and we had it all to ourselves. They have the jacuzzi which is part of the pool (more hygienic than stand alone jacuzzis) and it was lovely and relaxing down there. Loved the loungers down there too. In the evening they had a free sweet cart at reception, which again was a nice touch. Breakfast the next day again was outstanding. I’ve never seen such a huge selection of nuts, seeds, dairy, etc, etc. they even cook fresh pancakes and waffles to order. Overall an exceptional experience and you can see why it’s so popular. Thank you fo all the staff and we will be back very soon x

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton London Bankside. The rooms and facilities were very clean, the standard of service and friendliness of the staff was excellent and the food was great. Really good to see so many people staying at the hotel and having fun. It's been a long time coming!
A. C.
It's always great here. The rooms are lovely with great showers. The choice for breakfast is always very good. The omelettes are good to order and are fab 👍
S. H.
Fantastic welcome. The staff were amazing throughout our stay. The choice at breakfast was amazing, both continental and full english, yoghurts, cheese, salami, cereal, muesli the choice was endless. Rooms were lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. Great location.
M. J.
Fantastic welcome and service. The children's welcome bag was a real winner, our daughter loved the fox toy! Excellent location for the Tate and Bankside and Borough Market, well connected for seeing the rest of London too. High standard of accommodation and good value. Highly recommended.
M. P.
Definitely my favorite hilton location. Loved everything about it. Although, it does get really loud in the morning for some reason. I think it's the cleaners cleaning the room nexts to us, they were super loud around 8ish in the morning. Restaurant was great and service was great. We did utilize the pool but stayed only 10 minutes because the kids were super loud and we wanted a relaxing evening but, with the high smell of pool (whatever it is that they put in the pool water) was definitely too strong so, we left back to the room. I really love the large size of the bathroom. Other then that they should recommend having an adult pool hour for guests who doesn't have kids trying to enjoy the pool.

I recently stayed when in London for business. The bed was amongst the most comfortable I have found in hotel and had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay so much that I had booked again to stay with my family for a weekend break. Federica in the reservations department was extremely helpful in arranging our stay and very professional. Having regularly stayed at other hotels around London Bridge and Southwark, Hilton Bankside is by far my favorite.
P. F.
Very good service, nice room, large bed (I love it!), warm blanket, very good bathroom, quick WiFi, nice and large breakfast offer, nice bar, possibilities to withdraw in an executive lounge mir in Meeting rooms. Sometimes I felt slightly chilly... In a nice and practical spot. I will go back there whenever I am in London

Solid value for money and in a convenient location if coming to/from Gatwick airport on the Thameslink train. Gym equipment could be in better condition, but otherwise another quality stay. Breakfast buffet for HHonors gold members is well above average.
L. F. P.
I very rarely review places as it often slips my mind, however, I can whole heartedly say that this hotel was faultless. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, the restaurant was great, the food was beautiful and the staff… what can I say. Each and every single one of them went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay. We brought our three year old and each and every stay member from the reception, to concierge, to the waitresses and waiters went out of their way to make him feel so special in a way I have never seen here in the UK, a treatment you only often get when visiting overseas. They all had so much fun with him and even popped a little robe, slippers and treat box in his room. They made our stay unbelievably special. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

One of the nicest Hilton's in the area. Lovely rooms with great shower, brilliant breakfast

I stayed here in 2020 and have only got round to writing a review, but this is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in the UK. Love the sound system in the bathroom!!

Our stay in London was enhanced by our excellent choice of hotel. Worth every penny. The staff are excellent as are the facilities and rooms.
R. H.
Lovely hotel and would have got 5 stars but the customer service at the front desk needs to step up a bit on their customer focus.
C. M.
Nice friendly staff and well catered for. We were there for a company training day and the facilities were excellent.

Stayed one night so far on a four night stay - Quality Hotel and all staff 5 stars, place is immaculate clean public areas and room... Credit where credit due!
A. S.
Great facilities awesome hospitality nice hotel and the staff were amazing. The location of this hotel is great too.
A. H.
Everything is excellent apart from the following.
1. Netflix app is missing from the TV. This is not acceptable as other less premium hotels have it, or at least have the option for the customer to connect their mobile devices via any of the casting devices available on the market.
2. The water drainage of the basin can be faster as at times it was extremely slow to drain away.
3. There is a slight tangy smell in the public hallways as you approach your room. This may be due to disinfectant being applied, if so, some nicer fragrance/or candles should have been applied to combat the smell of disinfectant/or whatever else was the cause of this tangy smell.
T. M. (.
Lovely hotel. Rooms are a great size. Fantastic shower. Friendly staff.

I found All staff very professional and welcoming, on arrival straight away wishing me happy birthday, room upgrade as a gold member and room was stunning everything you needed and more, heard no noise windows sound proof. Bar too was relaxing and well run. Breakfast everything you needed and very fresh and tasty. Good Covid policy I felt very safe. Very central to London and trips to Borough Market, Thames River cruise and shopping. I cannot wait to return hotel 5 star plus keep up the good work.

Fantastic hotel, great location, friendly and attentive staff, lovely decor ....... perfect!

I’ve worked with Hilton Bankside for a while now and I’ve got to say;
Firstly - the venue itself is one of the most beautiful hotels in London and every wedding I’ve seen here is more than sublime.
Secondly - the colleagues. Colleagues make up 90% of an experience anywhere you go and believe me, these guys know what good service and teamwork is. I coordinated a wedding at Bankside on the weekend and I have to say the way they supported myself and my team was second to none. If they can do that with suppliers then what can they do for actual guests? I’m so proud to be associated with such a wonderful establishment. Thank you 🙏
S. D.
Excellent venue, and very helpful staff. Great central location, and the facilities are very good.
R. E.
A great Hilton, all new, service is always good and the rooms are all new, clean and well laid out
W. S.
Great stay at a fantastic location, minutes away from south bank. Hotel's class and quality is recognised and the Hilton brand is upheld at this hotel. Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Small note make sure to book the pool in advance to avoid disappointment.
A. S.
Prosecco on arrival, great service, particularly from Domenico who brought our room service and was polite and helpful. Only not 5 stars because booking.com says there is parking on site, but it turns out you have to pay £40 per 24 hours- as a guest of the hotel this should be free or you need to make it much clearer- not fair to advertise on site parking when there is such a large fee.
P. P.
Completely perfect. Excellent room, pool, gym, lounge, breakfast and restaurant.
G. P.
Exceptional we can not wait to return!
We arrived on a Friday morning for the weekend, I am 7 months pregnant and not the most comfortable, David at the front desk very kindly provided us with a diamond upgrade so that I had a bath available which made all of the difference after miles of walking each day.
Our room was excellent, immaculate, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was very spacious. Breakfast was perfect, great choice very friendly staff and chef and a wonderful restaurant and atmosphere.
The business lounge has not yet reopened, however we were given two drinks and a bento box each, which we could enjoy in the bar or our room between 5pm and 9pm which was a great alternative.
We booked our pool times each morning for the next day and had a great hour in the pool with a limited number of people making for a relaxing experience.
We have been staying at Hiltons consistently for around 6 years. Since becoming diamond members, we have stayed in a range of Hiltons from home2suites to the Waldorf line and I can honestly the team at this hotel are one of the best we have come across. We originally booked the Waldorf London but the staff were so obnoxious and rude at booking a few days later I asked my husband if he minded a change to bankside as we wanted pool facilities but planning a break from a high pressured day to day job and life I certainly did not have the paitence for rude staff, and I am so glad we changed.
On top of everything I have already mentioned the gentleman Shenun (I am so sorry if I have the spelling incorrect, and the concierge who's name we unfortunately did not make a note of also made our stay extra special. They were so attentive with our 7 year old, chatting to him, providing him with sweets when we arrived and even brining him a children's robe for his pool visit it made his stay extra special and meant the world to us as it was actually a birthday treat for him.
The running of the hotel during these strange times was excellent, wonderfully executed and very much appreciated, we felt a sense of relaxation and normality for a few days.
Thanks to an awesome team it really did enhance our stay and make for a perfect weekend. We can not wait to return.
J. S.
Fabulous hotel with first rate service. A definite 5* experience.
J. K.
Extremely pleasant stay, property was spotlessly clean, staff are very attentive, helpful and proactive. Good selection of bar food, great breakfast albeit a little hectic at peak times. Will definitely visit again.
A. C.
We stayed here recently because it was convenient while doing various inspections on a new build house. Rooms were nice, staff nice, however the amount of noise generated by cleaners was horrendous. I was busy working and every 10 seconds at one point a door would slam and these are heavy fire doors so make a lot of noise. Perhaps they could use a door wedge to keep noise at a minimum!
E. C.
Visited here as our 10th anniversary weekend and it didn't fault in any way, The staff are wonderful, the rooms are amazing and just wish we had longer!
S. K.
It's a nice hotel 🏨 where you have all the good facilities and amenities are also good
R. R.
Lovely hotel and staff were genuinely atte tive and helpful. After our enjoyable 2 night stay we'll definitely coming back to enjoy London. Thank you.
T. C.
Had a fantastic couple of days at the Hilton Bankside. I had booked a King Deluxe room but we were upgraded to a King Executive Room (351) due to my Gold status for no extra fee. We got two complimentary drinks each and a bento box each day between 5pm-9pm which was a nice surprise.
Due to COVID restrictions, the Executive Lounge wasn't open but the gym and pool are if you book a slot with the front desk. The breakfast spread was still plenty even with the restrictions.
The service was great and all the staff were very helpful
J. &. A. P.
Love this hotel, service great, breakfast great and varied and lounge is great. Definitely will be returning soon

So good to stay at such a welcoming, exceptional hotel. The best one we have stayed in.
The pool was lovely too.
A well-needed respite. We absolutely loved it!

Very good hotel, excellent position to explore London
Very welcoming and helpful staff
Food and facilities are excellent.
Would definitely stay there again

Great hotel, friendly staff. We attended a wedding reception here. The ball room is stunning and perfectly suited to a grand function.
G. B.
Great hotel with friendly efficient staff - and a great nights sleep. Very happy to recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A wonderful stay on the first weekend after lockdown. Staff were vigilant with masks and friendly. Mince pies and Mulled wine were a nice touch. Thank you kindly to the lady who left the desk fan in my room (hot flushes in December aren't fun!) Very clean room and housekeeping is on request. No upgrade that suited us was available which was fine and we were happy with the stay overall. Will not hesitate to stay again!

Loved everything, but particularly the warm welcome (kids were greeted with a bag of sweets), super delicious breakfast buffet and the pool.
P. C.
Fantastic stay. Feels totally brand new with everything you could want/need. Pool and gym facilities were a bonus. Room spacious, clean and luxurious and the staff were most helpful.
Great location too, good pubs and bars nearby and conveniently located for south bank.
I’ll look out for this hotel whenever I’m next in London.
G. M.
Decent hotel in a good location. Some of the staff are not that friendly. Pool key wasnt working and no phone down there to call reception so had to go back to the room. Service was hit and miss for a 5 star hotel thr service was not upto scratch.
k. g.
Pros:
very clean room/bathroom
great location
Cons:
lighting in the room was really dark
Decor in room was dark and dull
Lighting in the reception was dark
I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness but I found the reception area and room a bit depressing. Great hotel for a good nights sleep but not really if you're planning to spend time in the room.
J. Y.
To be honest, my first stay was exceptional (5 Stars), second stay awful (2star), third stay was very good. I've updated to an average of 4 stars.
It is still in my Top 3 hilton properties for staying in London.
As a Diamond member, staying at other properties and checking out around 3/4pm hasn't been a problem, that said Hiltons rules are a bit vague & it varies by property.
For future bookers, HILTON BANKSIDE stated it's complimentary until 2pm >>> you will need to fork out £40 per hour, every hour after! (Whether they have availability or not)
K. C.
We enjoyed our stay on the 26th - 27th October! The Hotel is well set up for all restrictions due to the pandemic - sanitisers available everywhere. Staff were amazing and very kindly upgraded our room. I would like to thank the Asian gentleman in the front desk for helping me with with the digital key and for the gentleman who served us dinner AND breakfast in the morning! (Sorry I didn't get any names). Just one thing - I did mention that it was a birthday stay so was expecting something special set up in the room. Apart from that, everything was excellent! :)
P. J.
amazing stay - and nothing was too much trouble from the hotel and bar staff ! big shout out to the team serving in the distillery :-)
P. C.
Stayed here for my birthday weekend and was in room 713. The room itself was great and the cleaning staff were very friendly, in particular Clara. Guest relations sent us texts regularly asking how our stay was and were able to help us to work out the tv guide for ordering room service. Also as it was my birthday the hotel provided a complimentary chocolate moose cake which was so nice. I loved the leisure centre and pool which we used every day. What knocks my review from 5 to 4 star was that the bar closed at 12 and no late drinks were available for residents. Also the experience we had on the Sunday morning where we complained about children making lots of noise, running around, spitting and diving into the pool. They also were stripping off naked and throwing wet towels onto our belongings at poolside . We reported it to the pool reception but nothing was done. We raised this when checking out and were told to email guest relations which we will be doing today. Overall it was a great stay, very good hotel, great staff in reception and a central location. We hope to return again some day
J. K.
Stunning! This is very nice centrally located hotel, it is a five star property so expect to pay circa £250 per night + however the facilities are excellent, superb conferencing suites, very nice bar and restaurant inside. I didn't get to try the food but I'm sure its excellent.
Comfy beds, modern decor, very clean and tidy with high end furnishings.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful modern hotel at a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
L. K.
Had a very nice two night stay at the Hilton Bankside. I had booked their vegan room, the first and only in the world (according to Hilton at least), out of curiosity and because I'm a vegetarian mainly due to moral basis.
After check-in I was given a tour of the hotel facilities and then the vegan suite itself. I was briefed about all the many small things they had implemented to certify it 100% vegan. All material, from the floors to the toiletries, was hand picked as well as products in the minibar which were complimentary as well. As a cherry on tip they had an all vegan room service menu.
Partly I admire Hilton for their ambition and efforts but partly I thinks it's sad it's so unusual that it's become a PR thing.
Overall, very nice design and interior. Service level was terrific as well. Breakfast was average and didn't have the time to try out the gym and pool unfortunately.

Great Business hotel but not ideally located for tube stations for movement

Excellent service, really nice hotel in central London...and with a pool.
Highly recommend especially for those wanting large meeting rooms. Quality

Very nice decor, great facilities and location and excellent staff and service. Very safe measures, felt safe during Covid 19.
Great social distancing measures around the pool and gym too.
Felt welcome from the moment of checking in!

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. It is conveniently situated for theatres and sights, being just across the river, but is in a quieter part of the city so you are not disturbed by the usual noise. The rooms were very well appointed and very clean. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and attentive staff. We would certainly stay there again.

Loved this hotel. Very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly, beds were very comfortable, excellent shower. The location was convenient to walk to everything but we felt we were also away from the busyness of the city. We We loved the treats that were periodically left for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Hotel. Comfortable and spacious room, and all the equipment and necessities you could expect from a 5 star hotel. The only caveat would be that except from the Tate Modern, it seems a little far from everywhere (about 1km walk more or less) so when it rains it can be somewhat uncomfortable to walk that distance.

This is a very nice hotel, with polite and helpful staff. Getting an upgrade to a suite due to my Hilton status made for a good start, as this often seems very hit and miss. The breakfast was awesome, huge selection and excellent quality.

Wonderful place my new favourite hotel

This hotel is excellent! We had a very poor experience with another hotel in the area and had to quickly relocate to Hilton. I have severe allergies to any type of artificial fragrances from detergents and fabric softeners. This hotel was wonderful at accommodating us and provided all fresh linens and towels without any fragrances. In addition, their service is totally on point. All of their staff is attentive, polite and accommodating. We left this hotel feeling really great about our stay and we will definitely stay here again next time we are in the city.
M. L.
Excellent hotel for families. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back again!
J. H.
We went there for the care awards the staff were polite and welcoming - the dinner was delicious - we had a wonderful time

Wow!
Everything about this hotel shouts quality.
The design is stunning, the staff exceptional (particularly the young lady in the bar who made an amazing coffee, and kept us stocked up with Pinot and popcorn), the rooms are luxurious , and the breakfast delicious.
Definitely a treat to stay there , we will certainly be returning .

This really is my favorite hotel to stay at when I am in London. I am spending more than 60nights per year at different hotels. Hilton Bankside is always one of the best. The ambience is very polished, elegant and cozy. The rooms are lovely decorated have excellent lights and are clean.
The staff overall are incredibly professional and friendly. Multiple times they have gone above and beyond to enhance my stay.
Good location in a trendy area of London with plenty of Restaurants. 7 minutes to walk to the tube. You’re situated in an area that feels safe.
D. L. W.
My father and I stayed with you over the Xmas and NYE holiday and we could not have been happier. Upon arrival, Angelo greeted us and was wonderful! He made check in easy and was always welcoming when we saw him. The concierge helped us many times with travel advice and details. The staff in the Executive Lounge was always friendly and helpful. They would go out of their way to make you feel like royalty. The rooms were large and comfortable. The tubs are a little high and can be tough to get in and out of though. But sometimes, it is the little things. Waking up Xmas morning to find a stocking full of treat on our door was just excellent. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
A. L.
This is a very nice 5 star hotel. They made my Christmas holiday wonderful. The room we got was very clean and spacious. We asked for a room with a bath and they were happy to give it to us without a fuss. The bed was very comfy! The service was perfect and the breakfast buffet was very lovely. The staff are friendly. The amenities were complete. And the location was spot on. There's nothing more I could ask for. I felt at home and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come back soon!
C. J.
This was our family's first stay at Hilton London Bankside, but it will not be the last! From the first moment we walked into the cozy lobby decorated for Christmas and smelling like a holiday puff of love, we knew we were going to feel right at home. We were greeted immediately by Anna who personally welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met and we didn't have to worry about a thing throughout our entire stay. The location was ideal and the space was perfect. The only thing we need now, is the recipe for the AMAZING mulled wine that was being served in the lobby - no other recipe will ever compare :-) Happy holidays and thanks so much for making our stay so memorable!
L. Y.
Super friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were a great size, and they actually had foam pillows put in there for me before check in! (I always request them with my booking, almost never get them). Easy 10 min walk to a couple different underground lines, great exec lounge and a good hearty breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
T. P.
We had an excellent stay at this Hilton on the south bank. It is very convenient to tube, restaurants, stores and sights. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Silvia and Elisabet in the executive lounge were super welcoming and attentive. Hotel has a pool, spa services, restaurant and gin lounge. The suite was spacious enough for 4.

I was denied ice at midnight, unacceptable for a 5 star hotel
J. Y.
Had our wedding reception and stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. Excellent service, good food, amazing venue, and professional events team.
N. B.
Beautiful, brand new hotel. Slightly bigger room than you might expect, with a really high quality finish. Lovely touches, like free drinks and snacks in the room (I'm not sure that I will always do this), turning the room round for sleeping, TV plays in the bathroom, robe and slippers, great shower, and a very comfortable bed.
Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was high quality. The bar is great, but a little on the dear side. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place. So clean and all covid measures in place
I. B.
Had a stay last week here. Amazingly friendly staff. Great bar tenders. Room was lovely. 1 star off for the proximity of the gym to the pool making it very much a sauna. Food for the rather pricy breakfast was great and i have paid the same or more for much less quality in the immediate area
P. C.
Great place with Great service. All the employees are there just to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I strongly recommend the use of the lounge, Great breakfast and Great happy hour. Even the swimming pool is amazing. The position is strategic, just behind the Tate Modern, 5 minutes walk from everything
P. A.
Clean and friendly staff. A good place to stay.
A. L.
Very beautiful hotel, worth 5 stars. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived at 9 am. Our room was not available at that time. So we went for breakfast and got a text in 1,5h that the room was ready. Hilton treats put it’s customers on first place! Clean hotel! Nice bar, try all the gin tonics! We would come back next time we visit London!
C. B.
Very good experience here. Room was flawlessly clean, very quiet, peaceful (if not a little sparse).
Staff was attentive....maybe a bit too casual for my liking, but they wer on top of things.
K. Z.
Generally pretty good but sometimes service may be a bit slow
J. M.
Great hotel with excellent rooms in Central London! 5 min walk to parking garage!
L. F.
Excellent staff and service. Really nice breakfast. Quiet & beautifully decorated rooms. Location is within walking distance of iconic buildings, tescos, sainsburys and m&s in a quiet part of London.
M. G.
Very convenient to Blackfriars and Southwark stations. Courteous service.
C. B.
Lovely touches @hiltonbankside for the kids. Teddies, gift bags, sweets, mini robes and slippers. Prosecco for the adults upon arrival. Love it!
F. F.
Very modern and stylish hotel. Great breakfast with a good selection of food to suit all tastes and diets. Polite, courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Would happily stay here again.
M. R.
Fantastic Hotel stay for the weekend in London. Great location, but more importantly, superbly clean, great staff and would go back in a heart beat.
A. M.
Excellent hotel. We have arrived early in the morning and, as expected, no rooms were available. We left our luggage and were giving an opportunity to refresh in the executive lounge (I'm a Diamond member). After that we went across Millennium Bridge for some sightseeing and in couple hours have received SMS that our room was ready. Everything about the hotel was brilliant - rooms, service, breakfast, location. We enjoyed our 4-night stay and we will be back.
W.
Great hotel with a lively and modern atmosphere. The room was well decorated, with a brand new feeling and a lovely comfy bed. The bathroom was large, the walking shower great, with good temperature and pressure controls.
The breakfast spread was quite good, although I had seen better at other Hilton hotels.
Location is great for central London, close to the Borough Market if you are a foodie.
S. A. (. ا.
I chose the hotel because it was close to all the meetings I had in London. The entrance is a bit awkward. I really liked the decor and style of the hotel. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side. What really shines though is the breakfast buffet; everything you might want you could find. The staff overall were helpful and welcoming.
R. P.
Loved this Hilton location. I stayed here for a work trip, and it felt like coming back to a resort after a day at the office. I especially enjoyed the well-kept Fitness center and the breakfast buffet selection.
Room service, however was not super reliable. I had an outdated menu in my room two nights in a row, and my dinner the 2nd night was an hour past the promised time of delivery.
Overall, the facilities and room made for an enjoyable stay.
D. G.
Very helpful staff at Front Desk and Food & Bar Areas. Even cleaning Team had warm smile for you. Rooms where very clean modern & comfortable.
G.
Really pleasant stay. Everyone was very welcoming. Much better an I'd even hoped for.
S. M.
This hotel is awesome. It's really upscale and modern. The shower is awesome since you can either choose to use the wall mounted rain setting or the handheld showerhead. The food in the executive lounge is pretty good too! The location is great, since it's a few minutes walk to the subway station. If I travel to London again I'll be sure to come back to this hotel!
M. M.
Among the best Hilton’s I’ve ever stayed in. A warm blanket comes over you when entering through the front doors. Reception staff was very welcoming and attentive. The room was comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. The pool was clean and provided some time for relaxation. Breakfast was very good. Definitely the preferred Hilton while in London. Hilton Honors (Gold) members get upgraded here. My deluxe King Room had some complimentary sodas and fruit.
K. C.
A beautiful hotel, lovely restaurant and bar. Our room was lovely, spacious and very well equipped and modern. The staff were all extremely helpful, and welcoming. Nothing is ever to much trouble. I look forward to staying there again.
L. W.
Amazing hotel, I was instantly wowed when I walked in with the copper and gold tones of the entrance hall. The staff were polite and the check-in desks were easy to find. We arrived 30 minutes early so were unable to check in (Check in time is 3:00pm), so we left our bags and grabbed a coffee at Costa across the road. When we got back we got our key card and went straight to our room which was lovely. Our bags hadn't arrived and there was a bit of confusion as it turned out they had delivered them to the wrong room. They found them about 40 minutes later and bought them round. The swimming pool is nice, it was practically empty when we got there and there is a decent jacuzzi built in to it.
The rooms are extremely comfortable, the only down side being that the view from our room was of a brick wall and the bed was a squeaky (Probably because it is on wheels).
The hotel redeemed themselves for misplacing our bags when they bought up a happy 25th birthday desert plate for my partner.
I would stay again, although at the price I paid I would definitely search around first as there are plenty of hotels around this price with a similar style and service.
J. S.
I go to London 2-3 times a year for work. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I loved it! Booked an Executive room and glad I did as it was much larger than standard rooms and came with access to their excellent Executive lounge. Great air conditioning in the room which is important to me and not always easy to find in Europe. Nice bathroom. Good service. Great location. I'll be back for sure.
P. B.
Attended an event here. Ambiance of the hotel is nice, place is aesthetically pleasing.
B. F.
Great Hotel and over the top service. Being a Hilton Gold member allowed us to check in at 10 am after an overnight flight and our rooms were upgraded as well Breakfast buffet, included for Hilton Gold members, was fantastic and had lots of options. The bar that’s attached is nice for a night cap. The rooms were spacious a clean. Very comfortable beds and the shower was great. Turn down service is always nice to come back to after a long day. A little far from the main attractions of London but was able to Uber everywhere across the Thames for about 10-15 pounds.
C. Q.
We stayed over the bank holiday weekend for celebration of our wedding before heading back to work.
The hotel is one of the best Hilton's we have stayed at. Nice modern fixtures and fittings. The service is outstanding from all staff who go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. We received a lovely card from the hotel, some cake and a bottle of prosecco in the room when we arrived. This was a nice touch that was very much appreciated. We stayed in a lively executive room on the 4th floor. Nice big room with big bathroom. Good aircon for this hot weather. We used the pool which although small was quite and relaxing.
We also used the executive lounge. One of the best lounges there is. Afternoon tea service is generous and evening food and drinks are good.very busy in the evening.
Overall another fantastic stay and one of our favourite hotels in London for relaxation. Thanks Hilton.
J. J.
Nice rooms, really spacious and modern. Bad is good albeit slightly pricey, but to be expected. Good service all round, a little slow at times but kept you updated. Slightly odd they followed my friend and I outside when we went for a cigarette, they must have thought we werent going to pay. This was addressed by the graduate who was on shift, Sam, and he was very courteous. Will definitely return.
K. B.
Absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect, exactly like in the movies. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The room was spacious, clean and stunning. Can't wait for our next stay
F. F.
I was very surprised by this hotel... great contemporary decor, good services and a wonderful gin bar which is worth a visit! For its price, you won’t find better in this location, and if you’re staying in business then DO opt for the executive lounge access, there’s meal and drinks service + shower facilities if you’re flying in and arrive at an awkward time for check in.
Only set back for this stay was that their fire alarm and evacuate announcement went off at 1am and then again at 3am, meaning I turned up for a critical business meeting the following day needing a lot of coffee to power through. Staff were apologetic but no compensation was offered.
T. G.
A good hotel - stayed on a business trip, and got a decent rate when booking through Hilton Honors.
Has a decently equipped gym, and a nice looking pool area (although I didn't try the latter).
Rooms are well equipped and modern.
A. A.
Amazing hotel. Extremely clean! I recommend getting access to the executive lounge, where you can take a break during the day and relax with unlimited soft drinks, snacks, as well as an open bar during certain times of the day; it's extremely worth it. The rooms are comfortable, but try to get a city view, as the other view is an unpleasant one facing
other room windows.
M. C.
Went for the 4 course buffet (Brunch) great food, great value and service. Will definitely recommend.
W. C.
I stayed there with my sister and we had such a great time. Hotel was quite modern and check in was not bad.
Pool was nice and breakfast was nice. Nothing to complain.
I. H.
Good location, well centrally situated. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Not too big for two persons though. Serve a good continental, English and oriental breakfast. Housekeeping very honest. Whilst cleaning my room found and returned my earring to me safely. All compliments for Hilton bankside London. Good place to stay.
D. L.
Lovely Hilton. Modern contemporary design lends a boutique feel, attentive friendly staff. Gym and pool are excellent, rooms are comfortably appointed. Exec lounge has great food and drink variety, free beverages in room, great water pressure. On premise restaurant is excellent and the craft gin bar, while a little pricey, has excellent cocktails.
K. H.
Such a nice place. Great to be back for meetings and events. Very attentive staff and tasty food as always !
A. M.
This hotel is really good, almost nothing to complain, except: dinner menu is limited and there are no dishes of the day, pillow selection is limited, no slippers are provided and finally I had to ask for a coffee at the bar after 30 min. waiting cause nobody cared enough. Receptionists are lovely.
D. O.
The hotel is in a good location. The Sunday brunch is good but not exceptional. Value for money it
is around 6.75. The waiters too for some reason were quite hostile n seemed to be there to give us the rules n not provide a service. They promised us halal meats but when we arrived on the day it was shambles what we were promised was not ready to be delivered. They then gave us roast potatoes fried in animal fat that was not halal. So over all it was quite a dissapoinment n not as expected
M. W.
We booked this hotel using rewards points from our Hilton Honors program. We booked it for 4 nights at 60,000 rewards points per night (for a standard room) and if you book 4 nights they give you a fifth night for free. It was not the cheapest place but it was definitely worth it. We arrived at 8 am after a red eye flight with a 1 year old who did not sleep at all. They informed us that they not only had upgraded our room to a deluxe king room (with an amazing view of the shard) but also that it was ready for us to check in (at 8 am!). Because they had upgraded us, they actually had another room ready for us with a crib other items already in it! But it didn't take long for them to move it to our upgraded room. Not only did they provide a crib but they also provided a bathroom set including a mini robe for our daughter and they provided a fox costume onesie! We are Hilton Diamond members so breakfast and access to the Excecutive lounge is included. The breakfast was amazing every morning. The food did not change, however there was plenty of selection. The lounge at night provided drinks and some light food both of which were very good.
N. N.
Great service amd bar food a you'd expect. Centrally located in the city which was perfect for our work conference. We were all comfortably seated in suitable temperature for the day which considering it was rather hot and sweltering outside was no mean feat with a large group of us located in the basement area. Lunch was very tasty once we worked our way through the queue and the nibbles at our breaks were also very good too. The only let down is that the smoking area is located out if the front of the hotel entrance which I feel let's down the overall look of the hotel as you apotoach it.
A. R.
Clean and rather new interior which is warm and cosy while being modern. Location is for me the best for a city break with tube connection near. Borough market is again not far offering all kinds of food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is too expensive at the hotel considering the huge offering just next to it.
T. M.
The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. I mentioned to the waiter who brought it up that I wasn't feeling so well and was staying in for the night. Every member of staff goes beyond duty to make you feel welcome and well served. The staff at the Hilton Bankside are fantastic.
R. A.
My partner and I stayed at the Hilton Bankside in July 2018 for four nights. The hotel is very central, although not particularly close to a tube or train station so a little bit of a walk is required when you need public transport. They put us on level one which was a bit disappointing as we had no view and a heap of whirring machines outside kept up a buzz.
The room was clean, a good size, and the king bed was comfy. The bathroom was modern and had a volume control for the tv speaker in there - we didn’t have a bath, but the shower was really good and I loved the mirror over the sink that was hanging by a belt strap.
We actually got engaged during our stay, and I kept the champagne bottle and cork from the proposal as souvenirs, and told the guy at reception to tell the cleaner not to throw it out just to be sure. For some reason this was lost in translation (as I don’t think the guy spoke good English despite being on front desk!) and they kept all our plastic water bottles we’d put in the bin, and threw our champagne bottle and cork out!! It was bizarre, especially since the champagne bottle was next to a ring box and flowers!! Anyway I went down to reception and they managed to find the champagne bottle and cork undamaged so that was a relief!! They also gave us a delicious dessert with “congratulations” spelled out in chocolate which was pretty kind.
I would consider staying here again, but I would request not to be on the first floor.
Hopefully this review was helpful :-)

Great stay, loved the pool
S. C.
Stayed over new Year, excellent room and comfortable bed, wish we could stay more than one night but it was pricey over new year. Great location too although bar prices are quite expensive, £25 for a pint and a gin and tonic is taking the Mickey a bit.
c. G.
Very nice hotel, which kept the London lifestyle touch instead of becoming a standardized Hilton.
Stayed for an event and the food was great throughout, the ballroom is super well equipped for speeches and the staff was ultra efficient.
The old fashion at the bar was of very good standard and they brew their own beer.
Haven't tested the rooms.
M. R.
Rooms are neat and clean, was offered a glass of prosecco at check-in, turndown service available, spa on-site...really my only qualm is they didn't have a real hot tub. It was connected to the pool and had jets but wasn't warm.
J. I.
I stayed for the 1st time at the Hilton Bankside, and I have to say that I was delighted. The whole building was brand new, well designed and
adequately furnished.
The room was a bit of a surprise for me. On the pictures on the internet,
it looked a bit dark. But in reality, it was beautiful. The colour schemes, the entrance floor varies from the main floor of the room itself. The room was spacious and very comfortable.
The staff was welcoming and professional and very kind.
Breakfast comes as a buffet, yet you could choose à la carte. Up to your choice.
The Bar is a place to hang with friends in the evening or even to work during the day.
J. Y.
My wife and I stayed here for four nights.
The hotel itself has spacious room, modern and well-maintained facilities, comfortable room and powerful shower. It ticks all my boxes when it comes to holiday hotel.
Location-wise, it is very central and convenient. A five minute walk takes you to Tate Modern. From there, you can easier walk across river Thames through millennium bridge and reach Saul Paul’s Cathedral.
The bar at lobby level has a very interesting menu.
Overall, it is a true five-star hotel experience
M.
I organised my colleague’s leaving do party here! I was amazed how good the service was! The cocktails were delicious and the staff were amazing! Our glasses were refilled as soon as they were emptied! So we didn’t need to wait! We ordered a lot nibbles as well. The portions were big and it was delicious! I absolutely loved the Lychee martini! It was not on their menu but they made it for us!
Amazing place for leaving dos as you have a lot of space and great service as well!
Highly recommend!

This hotel is clean, staff are friendly, has good food, and is close to some attractions. The room is spacious enough and quiet. The pool is great and they have a good spa service. I just wish they had a better 🛋
M. B.
I've stayed for years in London but this hotel is a different pedigree to most, the service is fantastic, the rooms are super comfortable and quite pleasant. It's a like a home away from home for me! Top tip, for those on business get access to the executive lounge, again a really comfortable and quiet place to work with unlimited access to food, water, coffee etc. Beats sitting in Starbucks in the city with all the noise before a meeting. Highly recommend.
L. S.
The hotel location is perfect, close to many good restaurants and just 5minutes from train station. I went to London Eye walking and it was about 15min walk. The room is very clean, mattress is not so soft but perfect for me who has a surgery in the the back. Bathroom is perfect, with the best water temperature control I ever seen. Breakfast is super dope! Hotel is completely recommended.
B. K.
Room was beautiful, clean and staff were very helpful
R. M.
I had a lovely stay at Hilton London Bankside. The hotel is stylish, service is great, location is perfect (coming from Gatwick), the rooms are nice and clean, and the breakfast is great too. I have nothing to complain about whatsoever.
A. A. Q.
It’s a very beautiful boutique hotel, I’ve stayed 20 nights in a one bedroom deluxe suite with lounge access , in the beginning there were some mistakes but they solved them all.
The location is great, it’s a walking distance from beautiful restaurants, Borough market, the shard , London eye and the river Thames.
The service is perfect and all there staff from the smallest position to the highest management are so nice, friendly and professional.
I recommend the hotel to all my friends and family.
I’m sure I’ll come back again.
A. S.
Good location. Clean, fresh smelling room. Good roomy bathroom. They give you a large 50 inch lcd with some premium channels. The room didn't really have a view. They give you a free umbrella! Its a life saver in London.
B. S.
Visited this hotel when it was just opening. The staff are lovely and very happy to help.
The rooms are some of the nicest I've had in a London Hilton. Also as it's a new hotel the room TV was equipped with all manner of plugs to connect devices to a screen which is a very welcome touch.
Good location and excellent value.
R. J.
I went Hilton Bankside as I was meeting some business associates for drinks in the bar. The hotel reception was nice enough, and the bar was suitably furnished to give it a premium feel. However, there was hardly anyone else there so the atmosphere was a little flat. The drinks waitress was attentive but not intrusive, and the music that wafted through the air was off-beat enough to feel unusual but didn't make me want to rip my ears off like other bars do! Drinks were pricy but some had a two for one offer, which made them more reasonable. All in all, not a bad location.
J. S.
For someone who travels to London frequently, this was my first stay at the Hilton Bankside. It exceeded expectations. Rooms were new, spacious and clean. Staff were extremely helpful. I became a gold member during my stay and normally one needs to check out for it to become active. The hotel manager, Zuzzana and Staff Lead, Panos, honoured my tier change by providing me with an upgrade and gold benefits for the rest of my stay. The customer experience provided by the staff was simply outstanding. Thanks to Alione for assistance with baggage and the over the top customer service all of the staff provided. A great experience and stay in London. I will be back.
T. R.
As this is a new building it is clear that they have given a lot of thought to what the modern traveller wants. Those little annoyances in other hotels (e.g no plugs in the bed, street noise) are a thing of the past.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel and it feels more like a Soho House hotel than a Hilton!
The bar has over sixty types of gin and the food was pretty good too.
They have excellent meeting facilities and really reasonable rates so whether you're there for business, leisure or a quick drink you will be well taken care of.
V. P.
Fantastic hotel! From Zuzana at the front desk and the rest of the eager to please staff to the sophisticated decor, amazingly comfortable rooms and location close to Borough Market and the Shard quarter, this is a step up from the typical Hilton property and I have no hesitation making it one of my preferred London hotels. Highly recommended!
S. S.
Nice place and food was okay. We had the sharing menu. Only issue is that they really encouraged us to leave as soon as it came to 11pm. We still hadn't finished our drinks! They turned the lights on full and asked us twice to pay. Normally, restaurants give you a bit more grace period. If they wanted us to leave at 11pm,they should have told us before and not taken our order for a bottle of champagne.
D. M.
Attended an awards evening. The areas were really excellent, very spacious and luxurious. The drinks and food were really impressive. My only negative was finding it very difficult to get information about the food as one of my table had dairy allergies. However overall impressed
M. R.
Gorgeous hotel, modern rooms. Loved the shower and pool on the basement level. Fabulous brunch. Would have preferred some items in the mini bar, it was totally empty except for two waters.
C. C.
Favourite place to stay, the rooms are huge for london and quite well designed. Not built as long ago as other hiltons in the london area so the decor is good and not tatty etc. Great facilities and close to attractions and southwark station. Since coming here first time a few years ago, I only stay at this hotel now
P. M. P.
I love this hotel for the great rooms, wonderfully trained team, and walking distance to Waterloo Station. It's ideally situated to walk most places. The neighborhood is fun and friendly.
D. T.
Great welcome from Yasmina, lovely room, and excellent bar service from josh. Breakfast omelette was delicious, great stay Thankyou
S. F.
The hotel is amazing, very cozy and modern updated rooms and interiors. The location is great and the rooms are updated, clean, and your home away from home. The bar inside the restaurant has great drink deals and a great atmosphere to unwind. The food in the executive lounge is average but can get very repetitive if you stay for an extended period, it's the same eggs, bacon, sausage and poridge every day. The reason I'm giving this hotel 4 stars is due to the repetitive food of the lounge and also the cost and quality of food delivered via room service. I ordered a Ceasar salad and calamari and my bill came out to £42, this would be okay if it was up to par with the price you would pay at most steakhouses in the area! Unfortunately it was nowhere close. The "grilled" calamari was extremely rubbery and cold and had no flavor at all. I took one bite and was disgusted. The Ceasar salad was very average. The lettuce was warm unfortunately. Luckily the deliverer of the food Aleksander, was so caring. He was very attentive and wanted to make sure I had a great meal. He asked me about the food when he came back and I let him know I was a little disappointed, he made it a point to make it right! He went above and beyond to bring the calamari back and replace it with another option that was prepared fresh as well as a dessert of cookies free of charge. His dedication to the customer experience was second to none. He genuinely cared that a had a great meal and that speaks volumes! He has rescued what was going to be a disastrous meal. Unfortunately without him the experience would be a 3 and with him a 5, I have evened out to a 4 to meet in the middle.

The hotel was an idea location. Only a 5 minute walk from Southwark station. We were upgraded to an unexpected luxury room which was absolutely stunning. The room was huge and the bathroom luxurious. The hotel staff were so helpful and they refreshed the mini bar and bed whilst absent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.
L. M.
A hotel that is surrey not cheap but that ensures a pleasant stay. Clean, well located and with a high quality restaurant inside. Service is also great and the gym and pool are something to mention. One of the best hotels around and my choice of preference.
R. A.
Good food and a good selection of beers -slightly impersonal feel.
I have visited 'The Refinery' bar/eatery a couple of times now as a group from work. Good selection of bar meals (very good burgers and club sandwich). There is a good selection of beers from the menu and the service is very good. More of a business lunch place than a romantic meal venue due to the atmosphere it inherits from being a hotel bar but I would happily visit for a meal with my family or wife.
C. C.
Attended a week long work conference, including staying multiple nights at the hotel. The staff are courteous, the rooms extremely comfortable, the bar is excellent and the facilities are wonderful. Decor is extremely modern and very well designed. My only complaint is that WiFi switches networks as youove from one conference area to another - this makes keeping a stable connection difficult (for video- conferencing, etc.). But this is so specific a complaint, it hardly seems worth addressing!

If you are working in or visiting the Bankside area, it's very convenient. A very short walk to the Thames, right next to the Tate Modern. Also just a few blocks from Burrough Market, with a lot of great shops and restaurants. I stay here often for business. Only think I don't like is that the rooms are pretty dark... Not much natural light or great views from the room.
V. S.
Everything you expect from a Hilton and then some. Great specious and well fitted rooms.
Excellent service from the Executive Lounge, check in staff are friendly and efficient and breakfast staff are wonderful.
It is very strategically located and within a 5 mins walk to a tube station.
R. B.
Professional staff, easy to find...
Overall very quiet considering the location...
WiFi didn't use....
Bar a little pricey but good selection... plenty of other local bars within 100m etc...
Tip..ensure breakfast is included in your booking or its £25....
Overall...one of the better hotels in the area...

Great Place ! In front of the TATE Modern - close to the Thames river. Perfect in walking distance to downtown and fair connected to the tube and several bus lines. Nice staff and extraordinary breakfast - all rooms are with noise reduction. Extremely clean ! Great recommendation!
Follow up - The Easterweekend April 19-22 2019 - with my 5th stay the Hotel is my Nr.1 - so great staff for instance at the reception - Early Check in without any problems - and so great Easter decorations and sweets for free !
K. R.
Excellent quality hotel, modern, clean and fresh with friendly and welcoming staff.
J. S.
Love this hotel! Staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Everything is so clean and modern! Breakfast buffet has everything you could want, cold and hot. Great coffee, too. The neighbourhood is quiet, but go a couple of blocks toward the river and there are sites and restaurants galore. There are two tube stations very close by, and a train to Gatwick as well. Who could ask for anything more?
E. C.
The ballroom is a huge if slightly soulless venue. We were there for corporate drinks and it was fine for that. Staff were great, very efficient and made sure everyone was fed and watered. Ironically, the reception and route down to the ballroom felt more impressive than the room itself.
N. R.
Had 3 nights here the last time we were in London.
The staff were all very nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We had lounge access, so the breakfast was a nice and cosy experience with the waiter helping us with anything we needed.
Location is great and it was easy to get around to different parts of the city.
Just a short walk away from the Shakespeare Globe.
The only nitpick I could think of, is that we had some issues with the TV and options for streaming via Netflix would've been awesome.
N. H.
Stayed in an executive king room for a work event. Room was neat and clean, with a well stocked minibar and tea and coffee facilities. There was an additional, small room annexed with a desk and lounger chair. Bed was lovely, very comfortable. Included was access to the lounge on the ground floor, but I did not have the opportunity to visit. Sadly I did not have an opportunity to get to the gym, pool or spa facilities.
R. B.
Good enough rooms for the location. Cirtainly quiet in my room even on the first floor. Breakfast was at a very reasonable uplift on the price and had nice quality food well presented with a chef available for bespoke requests.

Hilton bankside review
As many Hilton hotels i stayed in the past Hilton bankside was the best. We stayed for the first time back in 2017 so we decided to book family suite and give it a comprehensive review.
The review will be divided to sections so you can go directly to the interested sections
Check in process
It's a busy hotel so i tried online check- in and activate phone key which was brilliant idea and smart where it detects your position and the nearest locked access if it's a room door, elevator or the lounge but eather it didn't work in the start and it's require another activation from the reception or I didn't know how to do it so came back to the reception waiting in the busy que.
Staff
To cut it short the staff is the core for this hotel and the best in this experience in our trip.
Room
We booked a family suite which contained bedroom with huge bathroom having rain shower and bath tub.
The room was big and fantastic with comfy bed
2 outlet each side of the bed with USB with outlet. Also setting area with sofa bed and dining table with tiny bathroom which become very handy for the kids.
Sink was so high for the kids to reach we ask them if they have some sort of step for the kids to step on and they took 15 mins and bring one to us ... my point if you need any thing .. just ask and they will do there best.
In room dining
Ordered pizza and pasta for sure there was a room for improving the food quality in that order. The timing also was a bit late but they apologised and told me that juice become free as an apology .. very nice from them showing how much they care.
Waffle was ordered another day and it was really amazing with blueberries and different topping sauce.
Try ice cream chocolate fudge with creme brulee .. i hope the hotel give more attention to the room service food quality
Restaurant
For our reservation we have breakfast included served in the executive lounge not the full breakfast but it's separated quite area and you can pay and order extra dishes
Executive Lounge serve breakfast, afternoon tea with snacks, night meal .. something to think about
To complete the review we tried the full breakfast buffet one day at OXBO restaurant
Laundry
Tried the laundry finished in the same day
Prices might be little high but shall you compare it to going to nearest laundry .. it's up to you
Internet
Free internet is available with clever setup for how many days for several devices so it's one time setup
As i tried 4 different Hilton hotels this year in London, It's hard to compare this hotel with other Hilton hotels in London for sure Hilton bankside is in a much higher level.
To answer the usual question, should I stay again in London Hilton bankside hotel ? For me it's an easy Yes if it's for leisure or family vacation, Yes if you are taxi/Uber user so locationshould not be an issue, Yes if it's ok to walk 6 mins to Southwark underground station.
Next stay will review the Gym & Spa
Thanks Hilton bankside for this experience
P. R.
The bottomless brunch is so generous. Food is great highly recommended and there is a happy hour from 4pm if you have not had your fill but I think it's a cab home and an early night after all that generous pouring of prosecco
H. A.
Has been a really nice hotel. Staff are polite and say good Morning and goodnight. I'm not used to being around so many wealthy people who stay here.
J. W.
As someone who travels the world for a living, I can honestly say this is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff have always been polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. I look forward to travelling to London again as I will definitely be returning to the Hilton London Bankside
E. B. (. i. s.
Very good hotel, but needs some more attention to top tier costumers and more staff in the lounge. A bit messy at times, and out of oj both times I've come to breakfast. Staff was great, but a bit short
t. m.
The hotel was lovely as was the staff. The bed i have to say i found a bit uncomfortable and the coffee in the room could do with an improvement. The breakfast was lovely with various things to choose from. Overall happy with my stay and would stay again
J. R.
Great location, close to the river, restaurants, revilry, and the rail. If you're from the US, the rooms are very similar to a US hotel - more so than many in the area. The service is wonderful and the people are very friendly. The only issue, it is on the high side of the spectrum - so you'll find many business types drawn during the week.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

We were looking for a 5 star hotel in London with a Pool. Our search was narrowed down to 5 hotels. Hilton Bankside had excellent reviews and its one of the newer hotels in London so we selected it.
We booked a family suite which is two adjoining rooms. Both rooms were clean and modern. But what stood out to us the most was the hospitality. When we arrived at the room there was a welcome letter with gummy bears and two small pool robes for our daughters. Hilton Bankside really went the extra step to make us feel welcome. Also the head concierge Mark was thoughtful and helped us navigate the attractions and sites of London. If i could give this hotel 6 stars I would
A. W.
Feels like a boutique hotel but has all the facilities of the chains. My favourite London hotel with great location which is not in the busy area but walkable to central London. Rooms are big and has good gym and pool. The hotel has an exec lounge and also a great bar and restaurant with happy hours.
A. E.
Fab hotel in fantastic location to explore London. Rooms and decor is stylish, sleek and well thought out.. facilities are great with a cool bar and restaurant as well as an indoor pool. The biggest plus for me was the simply awesome level of customer service delivered by a happy, helpful and ever present team of young professionals. I will definitely be back!
A. R.
Lovely room, polite staff, simple check in and out. Would have liked a few more options in the minibar would be my only comment. :)
M. H.
Very nice hotel and at best location in London. I felt very welcomed from the moment I entered the hotel. Rooms were very nice and clean. I found staffs and service very polite and prefessional.
T. H.
Second time staying in this hotel and once again no complaint! Employees are really friendly, rooms are spotless and breakfast is good. Location is superb, it's definitely our first choice of hotel when visiting London.
T. K.
For the price, this Hilton delivers. We had a great stay and enjoyed this area of London tremendously. I really think this must be London's best hotel option at this price point. I highly recommend booking on the Hilton app and picking the executive lounge access because the included breakfast was truly satisfying. Not as good as the Hilton Odaiba in Tokyo but still a great executive lounge breakfast.
s. r.
Beautiful hotel room, with amazing service. Really comfortable bed, and luxury shower room with a speaker in the bathroom. A minute walk to the Tate modern, with lots of things to do locally - we managed sea life aquarium and ZSL in one day with Sea life being 15 minutes away and ZSL being 40minutes journey. Definitely be coming back!
P. F.
A quiet hotel with clean suites and polite staff. London's only fully vegan suite where everything is made from cruelty-free materials, from the piñatex leather to the bamboo flooring. Well decorated with good attention to detail.
T. M.
An excellent hotel. The cost was competitive for this area. The location is fantastic, tucked behind the Tate Modern with great access to the south bank. I have stayed at Hilton Bankside a number of times over the past year and each visit I received the same very high level of service.
e. I.
Have been here as long as I can remember...clean and a classy hotel to stay... and at the heart of London. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant and a fabulous trendy bar. Has a gym and a pool and spa.
A. M.
I stay at this hotel quite regularly when in London and it never disappoints. The staff is extremely welcoming. The hotel and the room design is clean and comforting. There is a good size fitness centre and the breakfast really good.
J. R.
Close to Tate Modern and still in walking distance to the city. Good hotel for business (if you don't mind the cab ride to the city) and great for a two day break or so if you appreciate global hotel chain standards. Bar and restaurant are ok. Rooms offer 2x2 USB plugs that can be interesting when visiting from the continent. This hotel is not a bargain though.
V. V.
We had a very nice room. Staff were knowledgeable when we phoned. Only two things that let me down on the day was that at reception there was no queue management so that when a possé of wedding guests arrived in, it descended into chaos
Other little issue was no USB ports in the room.
M. C.
This is a lovely hotel. All the makings of a true 5-star (and relatively brand new hotel) at a bargain price. I can only assume the price would be double if it was on the other side of the Thames. I stay here regularly and am never disappointed
J. B.
Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. About 30 seconds away from the Modern's brand new Switch Room and only a short walk to the other side to reach the Millennium Bridge. New hotel, with massive beds and fantastic showers. The ambience in the hotel is incredible - best Hilton I've been to
L. E.
Beautifully presented. Welcoming staff, very helpful. Well thought out rooms and super breakfast. The best hotel i have stayed in so far.
T. M.
What a great experience at this Hilton property. The facility is the most comfortable of all Hilton's we have stayed at and since I'm a Diamond member and have been for years I have stayed at ***y. The location is great, just a few minutes …
S. M.
Great location, service and facilities. Breakfast could be better eg better selection of bread
L. Z.
Great chain hotel in a perfect location across from Tate Modern, and several local grocery stores open daily till 11pm. Rooms and restaurant have modern design, basement has large swimming pool with a whirlpool open till 10pm and a 24hr gym. Restaurant serves great buffet with options of gluten-free bread and sugar-free jams, dinner is not a good value. We ordered dahl which was served on a slice of flatbread and was cold. Executive lounge has water and coffee during opening hours.
C. R.
Excellent service, very clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast.
R. V.
Great location, close to South Bank, eateries and tourist attractions. But, rooms though updated have no view and is always dark & dull. The room I got in 6th had one small window overlooking a giant wall and served no purpose.
R. E. P.
The location of the hotel is wonderful as well as the newness of the property. It's designed nicely and the staff are a great body of people, always nice and quite helpful. I will definitely stay here again, no questions asked.
O. O.
Very nice hotel. Neat environment, courteous and professional staff, lovely indoor pool, modern furnishing. A little on the pricey side though.
T. L.
Fantastic, clean, spacious and modern venue often with surprisingly low rates. 2 convenience stores right outside (sadly not 24 hour) and a 7 minute walk to the tube. Cannot recommend this place enough - my favorite hotel.
S. C.
Stunning food, well prepared classic and modern British dishes mixed in with Asian flavours, a must visit for food lovers, whether for a great family Sunday lunch, business meting or a romantic evening dinner this is a perfect choice. Paul Bates and his team of chefs produce outstanding meals at prices reasonable for the area. This restaurant is well worth travelling in for a memorable meal.
A. E.
I stay at Hilton hotels about 100 nights a year all across the USA and abroad. This one is easily my favorite. Gregory in the Executive Lounge was the best! If are considering selecting a hotel in London, don’t pass up Hilton London Bankside. You will love it.
D. C.
Visited the spa for a massage. Nice modern hotel. Massage was excellent. Doesn't include use of hotel pool / gym disappointingly, Hotel staff were also unable to show me a room as "the person who shows the rooms isn't in"...
A. R.
Loved it here! Staff bend over backwards to make sure you're comfortable! Ours was only a flying visit to the bar but we were certainly made to feel welcome by all who we encountered. Very clean everywhere!
O. B.
Mixed experience
The location is good close to Waterloo and Tate Modern. reception was excellent, but the turndown service was persistently done only on the one side of the room (???) . Room: The size was good,There was no sound system in the room, toilet brush was missing, no iron in the room either, the decorum is gloomy and we were looking at the wall of the building next door. Health club and pool: the gym is well equipped, but no steam room sauna or hot tub. BAR: do not recommend, drinks were overpriced and not good (lavender infusion was oversugared cranberry juice), and chicken appetizer came was not good, There are many bettrer choices in the area.
J. O.
Lovely hotel, convenient location. Easy access from Waterloo and Southwark stations. Service was polite and prompt, good food quality. Didn't stay in rooms so can't comment. Rest of hotel was well kept, clean and tidy.
K. K.
Great hotel when staying in London. Their breakfast buffet is the best. Not the closest location to all of London's must sees but a quick walk to Millennium Bridge and St. Paul's.
C. P.
Amazing location in central London. It had easy access to the tube, a Tesco Express across the street and right next to Tate Modern. Room was immaculate and clean. Brilliant amenities and fantastic shower. Check in and out was quick and easy. Just beware of upgrades, they are steep!
D. S.
Great hotel , great people and leadership - no complaints very happy to be back !
R. C.
Lovely hotel. Nice quiet rooms, despite city centre location. Staff attentive, polite and plentiful. Rooms clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.
G. F.
Brand new hotels, the rooms are large for an 8nner city hotel. The bathrooms are nicely laid out and the walk in shower doesn't soak the entire floor, which is nice. The ironing board and iron are hidden behind the wood panelling by the door though, that took a good ten minutes of hunting to find!
A. D.
Nice staff .....excellent service.......disappointing that the executive lounge wasn't open but compensated with vouchers and food platter at the bar.
T. M.
The room I stayed in was very quite and looked like it had recently been refurbished. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The location is perfect for the Tate and access to the river and just across from St Paul's. A real pleasure, and London very accessible from here.
R. Z.
Amazing hotel. The concierge desk was extemely helpful scheduling a cab for my flight at 6 in the morning. The rooms were very nice, and the location is in close proximity to all the touristy places in London.
H. D.
Hilton with a twist. Amazing decoration and stories arrount every detail. But must of all the team members are fantastic they make the difference in your stay. Lovely people with there own personality not the usual robots of hospitality that you find in 5 start property's.
Fantastic amenities in your room that will make you remember you stay for ever.
This will become you home in London.
S. H.
Nice hotel in a good loction, but staff were poor, as a Gold member was not welomed as a HH memeber, told there was no upgrade available which was dissapointing as i booked Delux room to get one. worse of all was I could not use the Executive lounge as I was not upgraded to an Executive room. A bit Bizzare but the man who checked me in was not realy interested, and said there was no upgrade and my key would not get me in to the Lounge. I wish i had stayed in another hotel now although the hotel was nice and central it was oveall dissapionting to be a HH member and have no benefit. I could hve booked the cheapest room and saved some money.
W. D.
A fantastic venue. The conference facilities are brilliant and the team are incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank you for accommodating us and being such wonderful hosts.
P. M.
Had a really good break here.
Breakfast Fantastic..
N. H.
Beautifully designed, modern hotel and outlets. Not what you might immediately expected from a Hilton. Very good food and an open kitchen. All staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I was greeted with a warm smile and shown to my table by Sheherazade, and looks after wonderfully by Klaudia. I look forward to returning and would recommend OXBO and the hotel to anyone.
D. G.
Went here for a 'fancy' sandwich at lunch. Very attentive staff and the free cucumber water was a nice touch. Nice atmosphere as well - only downside was that the sandwich was one of those that was too large to actually be comfortable to tackle, and was a little lacking.
P. M.
I think this is my favourite Hilton in London. Wonderful staff, great rooms, executive lounge is cosy with great evening canopes. 5 minutes walk to Southwark tube (Jubilee line). No hesitation to recommend.
C. L.
Absolutely fantastic - this statement sums up the experience of a traveller in this hotel. The design is modern and travellers who book regularly a room in a Hilton will be pleasently surprised. An Ececutive Room is recommended to get access to the Lpunge where you can have breakfast, tea nd sncks for dinner. The bar is also great with a variety of very unusual cocktails - try the one with salmon (yes, salmon!). The location is also great - a tube station is only five minutes away.
K. L.
Absolutely lovely hotel with a very kind, attentive staff. Only complaint is that the lobby smells like the cologne/perfume department of a department store (but I would only take off .1 of a star if I could because everything else is so great).
P. M.
Twin standard room was perfectly appointed. Shower was enormous and beds comfy. Friendly attentive staff. Extremely convenient location for London sights. Short walk to tube. Short walk to the South Bank of Thames. Overall a relaxing one nighter and would definitely stay again.
P. A.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. Would have given 5 stars but disabled access to the lower conference room is poor as you have to access the lift at the back of the hotel.
L.
Great hotel with fabulous facilities.
Professional and friendly staff.
Special mentions to Juan & Alessia in the Oxbo, and to Marina who kept our room so fresh and clean.
Looking forward to our next stay with you.

Poor check in but great hotel
G. C.
Great hotel and great staff. Everything was perfect and beyond my expectations. The breakfast is phenomenal and the restaurant very very nice. I will come back in the future!
G. J.
Great hotel in a very handy location. 5 minute walk from the Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and other nearby attractions.
Blackfriars and Southwark underground stations also only a short walk away which easily connects you to most of the city's hotspots.
The hotel itself is nicely decorated with a slightly industrial look and feel, however the rooms do suffer from a lack of adequate lighting as a result of the decor. No HDMI input for the TV so you won't be able to connect a FireStick or Chromecast.
Staff were very helpful and attentive, food was delicious and the executive lounge put on a very good buffet breakfast.
M. M.
Brilliant modern hotel. Rooms are clean and modern with large waterfall showers. Good facilities including a pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant (OXBO) provides a delicious breakfast too!
C. F.
Great place to stay. They happily allowed us to send a suitcase ahead of our stay and had it waiting in our room upon arrival.
R. H.
Bit of a bland corporate hotel I'm afraid to say. Bar and restaurant looks ok but maybe trying too hard to be "authentic". Room was very small but maybe trying to provide an authentic bedsit experience that millennials experience in this part of London! Good area just behind Tate bankside. Easy reach of all major attractions.
果.
Felt like the staff were an extension of our own family home - which surprised us in such a big city - we didn't expect this. Staff made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed. Per Granstorm at reception was amazing!.He went above and beyond the all of duty, taking time to get to know us and to...
D. Q.
i really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, from my check in to check out it was very lovely, most of the staff were foreign but they were most polite and most friendly from the receptionist to the steward who served our dinner.... excellent customer service. will definitely make this place my London stay.
R. K.
Nice hotel, nice bar which livens up in the evenings, very good service but parking is poor unless you're staying at the hotel as streets surrounding the hotel are heavily congested. I was there for a reception and the venue downstairs is spacious although it took some time to find parking and I came in frustrated!
Y. H.
Lovely rooms, comfortable bed, clean and good service. We really enjoyed the spa area downstairs.
J. A.
Very nice hotel, well managed and clean. missing som toiletries like razors and such which is nice to have when you travel from abroad. other than tjst the only thing i might have comment on was the view which was more or less a brck wall.
R. G.
Went here for a work Xmas party, beautiful venue, good facilities, clean. Hard to navigate a big building without asking for assistance, not well signposted inside. Great location and beautiful decor.
a. t.
Fabulous hotel, comfy beds and delicious breakfast. Spa part of pool wasn't working so lost 1 star. Staff helpful and friendly.
T. M.
We only went to their bar and it was really wonderful. Helpful staff. Beautiful decor. We will be looking to stay here the next time we visit London!
J. M.
Brand new Hilton hotel, polite and always helpful, smiley staff.
Inviting fragrance of the huge bouquet of fresh flowers as you walk across the hall.
No public transport in 5 minutes walk around the hotel.
Very complicated to access between the mazy streets...the Google map can't find out to show the right way.
I. M. H.
Our room was great and well cleaned, friendly staff, good location. We had a great stay and are very likely to return :)
V. J.
Great hotel and awesome banqueting suite if you're in the market for a wedding venue. Rooms are great and service is on point.
E. B.
Great gym and pool.
Facilities are new as i write this, which can be nice.
Like most new buildings though, security is ridiculous. You can't go anywhere without a card. There are card readers everywhere which was a total pain and I didn't have kids or much luggage.
The windows don't open, and there is no view.
....but the HVAC controls do work well which is a huge plus as they frequently don't.
The neighborhood is not very interesting.
We had to ask 6 times to get lighter blankets...as the feather comforters would be better suited for the arctic.
The staff was completely useless...everytime.
I will not be back.
B.
Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly at check in and overall, room was beautiful and perfectly clean. Highly recommended
I. P.
Great hotel. Always my first choice when staying in London. Really nice rooms, everything clean, well maintained and with superb service from every member of staff I have ever dealt with.
H. W.
The bar used to be a great place. Not so much under new management. Be very careful if you don't like paying service charge when queueing to a bar for 10 minutes. Yes, they just add it. Be careful if you are in a larger group- they will try to charge you for the most expensive spirits if you just say "vodka and X" or "gin & tonic". They probably do use them but if you don't specify the brand, then the default is the cheapest stuff. If you care about your spirit, you will surely let them know your choice. Apart from that, ok happy hour and interior.
A. S.
Attended an event in the ballrooms. Public areas of the hotel were new and well appointed. Catering was good with efficient service. The breakout area was a bit hot and crowded though.
T. S.
Had a lovely stay at the Hilton Bankside. Greated by friendly helpful staff at Check In, out and everytime we walked through reception. Loved the bar connected to the hotel with a great list of cocktails and a fantastic breakfast
D. W.
One of my favorite hotels. Large nice, clean rooms. Very large bathrooms with great shower. Everything feels very new.
S. F.
Definitely didn't feel like we were staying in anything more than 3 stars. Service was terrible to non existent. The only good part was the Gin bar downstairs.....if you could get service.
F. M. -.
I can only comment on the business centre/meeting rooms facilities. I attended a day training course at the Hilton meeting rooms, it offered excellent facilities and service. I did not rate it 5 stars because of the slight technical glitch whereby our trainer was without a working monitor/tv screen for about 20mins but it was remedied in the end.
R. S.
This new Hilton Hotel is great, especially for Hilton Honors travelers with Gold or Diamond status. The rooms are large by London standards, the AC is excellent, as are the staff. The ground floor Executive Lounge is one of the best ever with plentiful food and drink in the morning and evening. The hotel is immediately behind the Tate Modern in the very cool Bankside neighborhood.
D.
Good venue still very new fresh and clean. It has a very modern decor and accomdated a wedding and reception really well.
I hightly recommend for a group of 500 or so
n. s.
It's a great hotel - really good value with the honors programme too. Restaurant is not cheap but the food is good quality - and an altogether better experience than other business hotels in the area.
M. M.
It was ok . No Covid respect. Shame.
J. P.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location for bankside. Staff extremely accommodating and professional. Room was fabulous with a lovely rain shower. Will be back
s. k.
Excellent hotel for business and leisure.. Right in the center of London with the main attractions just one or two tube stations away.. The hotel had lovely rooms and excellent service and the restaurant and bar services are a must to try! One of Hilton 's best!
G. S.
Great Hotel with very modern rooms, Service was top notch.
We got to London via STN and the A7 Nation Express coach has a stop only 3 minute walk form the hotel which was perfect(under a bridge too so good if its raining).
would recommend this hotel to anyone
J. L.
An extremely comfortable and friendly hotel in one of London's most interesting off-the-beaten-track areas. We performed at a corporate Christmas party in one of their ballrooms and were extraordinarily well looked after by the hotel.
L. P.
Lovely hotel. The area has a Tesco express and a little Sainsburys. The bar looked lovely and very close to the Tate modern. The breakfast is £25 per person so a bit pricey.
M. R.
Nice venue
We were there for a wedding
They need better health and safety checks
The stage platform for the bride and groom had no support at the back. My Dad nearly slipped off backwards when greeting the couple!
R. M.
An amazing hotel, we ran an event here and stayed overnight. Everything feels brand new, the food is beautiful, staff are courteous and attentive, couldn’t recommend high enough.
T. M.
As a Gold HHonors member, I’ve stayed at ***y Hilton properties but I can honestly say this Hilton is the best Hilton that I’ve ever stayed at. Great location with easy walk across river to St Paul's. Beats sitting in Starbucks in the city with all the noise before a meeting.
A. S.
Great hotel, great location
K. L.
Centrally located to many popular sites. Very close to the tube so you can quickly launch to other stops in the city and beyond. Top notch hotel with great amenities and superbub staff.
L. M.
We were here for an event and got to enjoy great food, great service and great sound and light production. An overall excellent experience - thanks for having us, Hilton!
m. h.
Had a one bedroom suite for a few days, room fantastic, staff very professional and Friendly, nice bar and swimming pool. Good location.
D. D. A.
I have stayed quite a few times and beyond the hotel comfort and the quietness of the rooms, what I appreciate the most is the kindness of the staff: really 5-stars service.
B. K.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Thanks Vittoria! Executive lounge is amazing with great quality food. Rooms are nice and roomy.
E. L.
Excellent! Room is very nice and clean. Breakfast and lunch was so delicious. I wish hot tub is little bit hotter.
C. N.
Positive personell, nice rooms and a great breakfast. The chefs are very helpful and even fixed gluten free pancakes upon request.
S. M.
We had drinks in the Distillery bar, the interiors are lovely in there. We had a table and so had table service, you might as well get table service as they charge for service in any case. But of you have a buzzard you'll get 25% off. We had a great evening though sometimes it was difficult to get the attention of the barmaids.
M. T.
Oxbo is a newly opened restaurant in the Hilton Bankside and I'd advise you to get along as soon as you can.
They were running a soft launch so they meal was only being charged at 50% which seemed like too good an opportunity to turn down however I will definitely be back even at full price.
The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a large open kitchen so you can see exactly what is going on in there. The evening started with a free glass of prosecco before we sat down and had a look at the menus. If nothing on here takes your fancy then the specials board displays a pretty big selection of various sizes of different cuts of meats. This was my kind of book! After deciding on a lobster starter, 950g porterhouse and then a couple of desserts we sat back to wait.
Our waiter arrived and asked what we were having and then proceeded to recommend a few different wines for us, all at the lower end of the scale which was surprising. Even more surprising was the fact that he then insisted that we try them all before deciding. We plumped for a Pinot Noir at £30 which was delicious.
When our starter arrived it looked a little bit more style than substance and sadly wasn't as full of flavour as I'd hoped but was still ok. This was to be the only disappointment of the night. When the main arrived it was a big check of meaty goodness cooked to perfection. This was served with fries and a choice of sauces. We went for red wine and the bechamel and both were very good. A side of winter cabbage, bacon and onions was a great accompaniment.
The deserts we chose came after we requested a 15 minute wait just to allow everything to settle and I'm glad we did. The berry creme brulee was very good and the cheesecake was great. If they could just change the base to be less chocolately I think it would be the best one around.
All through the meal the waiters were chatty and very attentive and the icing on the cake was as our waiter was pouring the last of the wine there was a definite imbalance between the two of them. He apologised and then reappeared with the restaurants bottle of the same wine to top up the second glass free of charge.
I hope that they will be able to maintain the high standards as the food was great and the service was some of the best I've received

Brilliant.... Lovely breakfast. They know how to make scrambled egg. (yeah)
The sausages are to die for.
3 nights and found no faults. Definitely be back again......

Great hotel with good rooms and very polite staff. Complementary soft drinks in the room. Hotel has a pool as well. Did not rest the restaurant or pub, but it looked good.
J. L.
My favourite hotel in London. Great rooms and a great gym, spa and indoor pool. Bar and restaurant a very good too and has the best executive lounge. Not cheap but worth it.
C. D.
Lovely hotel, modern and full of great facilities. The service and location are second too none. Highly recommend the breakfast full of variety, something for everyone ..we will be back

Great funky 5* property. I recommend🙂

Still my favourite Hilton out of the dozens I attend on a yearly basis. Perfectly finished rooms, great service, greatly located close to central London. Special thanks for the 3am hot chocolate!

Attended an awards ceremony for my industry. Great three course meal, lovely drinks and professional setup in terms of light and sound. Would consider the venue for future events. 10/10

We have stayed here a few times and it has always been an enjoyable stay, the rooms are modern and the executive lounge is first rate as are the staff.
B. D.
Very contemporary hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff, no more than than 5 mins walk to the river with all the chain restaurant's and loads of independent places dotted through the side streets st Paul's the shard very close by as is borough market, Covent garden and the tower of london, so far perfect.
S. M.
One of the best Hilton's I've stayed at, thanks for lovely stay!
J. L. P.
Super hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet..located in easy walking distance to not only plenty of "hip" pubs, but also to the Tate Modern, the Queen's walk, and with easy access to the Millenium Bridge that takes you right to St. Paul's.
J. C.
Incredible team, felt safe and cared for, 100% satisfied with my stay
C. S.
The location is phenomenal. Rooms are comfortable and extremely friendly staff will go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend for business travelers!
S. J.
We staying in the most beautiful suite on the first floor. There are no spectacular views from this hotel, but the staff friendliness and comfortable rooms more than make up for it.
E. A.
Rooms are recently refurbished and really nice. There were some issues with our booking due to Expedia, but the hotel staff were very helpful and provided excellent service
J. R.
Had a few drinks in the bar. Service slightly slow but not too bad overall. Comfortable environment - very clean and new. There are worse places to go for a quiet drink on a Friday or Saturday night.
B. S.
Very good hotel. High Hilton quality, dedicated, professional, friendly staff. Good bar, good restaurants, proper and clean rooms. Great location in Southbank, 2 blocks from Southwark station, a short walk from the Eye. Grade: A

Great hotel in central but pleasantly quiet location. Is adjacent to a lovely bar that serves its own very good beer. Highly recommended

Hilton Bankside is our favourite hotel in London. Stayed here more than 10 times now and always receive fantastic service and our preferred room.

Christmas - y pine smell thru- out the hotel, fantastic euro modern bathrooms and luxurious multi hundred count linens in a giant comfy king sized bed. Don't stay at the stuffy older hilton s. Take a chance on the Bankside and walk over to the Tate modern
R. C.
When in desperate need of relief, the universe sometimes extends to you a sanctuary. And in its infinite mystery, came the slowly revolving doors of Hilton. I have nothing but great words for this hotel, and its discreet staff.

I stayed at the Hilton London Bankside in the 30th October - 1st November weekend and I can sum it up as excellent.
The hotel is on the South Bank of the Thames, a five minute walk from the Southwark Underground Station (Jubilee Line) and from the Tate Modern and the Millennium Bridge.
I stayed in a King Deluxe Room with View, but the view was the only thing faulty in it. Infact the room was obviously new, as the hotel has recently opened, very large by London standard and beautifully appointed, while the view was very underwhelming, pointing west and showing only a recognizable 5% slice of London Eye.
The only defect in the room (and it was a very minor one) was that there was too many pieces of furniture around for its size.
As a HHonors diamond guest I was given access to the Executive Lounge at ground floor and found it a pretty one, large and never busy, even if the food offering at the Hilton Canary Wharf were better.
All in all it has been a beautiful experience and I can recommend a stay in this hotel to everyone, especially at weekends with the lower rates (mine was £ 152 per night).
N. B.
The hotel is clean comfortable and the staff are friendly and attentive. Tv remote didn't work. But that's about it for negatives. Excellent hotel would stay again.
S. B.
Good hotel with a good restaurant. It's pricey but very high standard so represents good value for money. Far better value that the Hilton Tower Bridge with better restaurants and bars.
J. J.
Will try to stay here if in the area again. Lovely modern hotel and stylish rooms. They are pretty dark though so might not to be everyone's taste.
T. M.
My stay could not have been as excellent as it has been if it wasn't for the excellent service with received. Location could actually be a plus for visitors who want to be away from central London crowds, but want to be very centrally located. Relatively close to the tube and water taxis.
K. X. T.
Love the room and property. It looks spanking new and hotel staffs are very helpful. Walking distance to Southwark station and Borough market. Will return for another stay!
E. K.
Really nice hotel with some amazing staff. Great beer selection and probably the best breakfast I have ever had in London.
J. S.
Beautiful modern hotel with great service and a superb full breakfast. Probably the best hotel we've stayed in so far.
R. C.
A top notch hotel. Well derserving of all the stars. Staff are extremely polite and provide amazing service. Facilities are excellent as well.
l. h.
The best hotel for the money. Staff very very nice, room clean and tide, lots of complimentary snacks and drinks, great breakfast. In all, such a superb experience.
S. C.
Clean, comfortable bed (exec suite), very friendly service, mostly free mini bar (all but alcohol), the only drawback is HDMI not available on TV, but it is so specific it is almost meaningless.
W. H.
Really excellent hotel, convenient for Blackfriars Thameslink and Southwark tube. First class service and nice new rooms. Good cocktail bar. Pubs and restaurants on The Cut nearby.
A. F.
Great hotel and location. Friendly staff. Overly perfumed front entrance, caution if you have asthma or are sensitive to strong fragrances.
D. F. (.
Great location south of the river and a couple of streets away from the insanity of the river walk. The hotel room was clean quiet and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the staff polite.
M. L.
Stay here if you stay south of Thames. Really nice hotel. Excellent breakfast, large comfy rooms. Try to get a street view on second floor or up. Worth the upgrade. Only five mins Walk from Blackfriars and ten from London Bridge if you go Thameslink to Gatwick.
P. S.
Fantastic hotel. Great staff, Great Rooms and Great food. Genuinely can't fault it. A part from expensive drinks.
C. L.
A great hotel but not very good wedding venue because it wasn't very convenient to get to the actual hall.
Staff was very helpful and friendly
C. C.
Excellent, had a lovely stay here, we had a suite & it was immaculately clean, room service was lovely, staff fantastic & friendly, will definitely be back!
M. W.
Gold member and was upgraded to suite. Made to feel welcome. Exec lounge was good, very comfy. Gin bar comfortable but v expensive

Great bar for a quick after work drink. Always enjoy anywhere that offers free snacks with alcohol. Not quite aperitif but well worth the visit
C. K.
Nice, new, upsxale hotel. Great restaurant and amazing service.
If you ever there for lunch try the beef tartar!
C. F.
Our favourite London Hilton. Consistently good. Friendly, professional team members, excellent breakfast. Very good executive lounge.
G. J.

L. R.
Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Delicious food. Great location. Would definitely go back, and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

Tried the 21 pounds 3 courses dinner menu on a Sat night. The dishes were awesome, made with fresh ingredient! Stonebass was amazing. I would say is a hidden gem.
L. H.
Nice rooms, great service, wonderful breakfast and an amazing barman called Augosto thx for making the stay even better

Very conveniently situated hotel, only about 1 years there. Very friendly staff, nicely furnished rooms and excellent beds. Quite near to the Tate Modern Museum and Southbank.

Exceptional hotel, wonderful staff and fantastic rooms
B. P.
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! The staff, services, amenities were just incredible! Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here! Would return to stay here all over again!!!
M. G.
Nice hotel. Excellent customer service but breakfast was slightly let down because fried eggs were cooked to order meaning delay when busy.
P. S.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool.
M. S.
Attended a function last Thursday at Hilton Bankside. Beautiful hotel, friendly and efficient staff. Food was excellent. Couldn't fault it.
M. I.
Great hotel close to the Thames. Good bar and restaurant and super service. Staying there regularly during business trips
T. G.
I had a quick 4 day stay and with the -1 weather I hardly could do much in London but my stay was comfortable, food was great and the staff was warm & helpful.
G. T.
A really nice, modern hotel. Good design, good bar, but drops marks for being a little too busy and loud, and for being too focused on hipster gin in the bar!
M. J.
Staff helpful, rooms great, enjoyed the food. Overall a really good hotel one I would use again
P. L.
Great hotel, very bad restaurant. Had to change my order 3 times because 2 chefs weren't able to cook a simple steak medium rare.
L. H. P.
Very modern, very nice bed, very nice room in general. Friendly service with a few things worth improving. Amazing location.
J. P. P.
Good service. Well located. The gym is bad... It needs some improvements. But very good hotel
G. S.
Attended a wedding reception at this stunning hotel. Friendly staff. Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay overnight!
C. S.
Fantastic hotel there's nothing at all to complain about. Everything is great room, breakfast, bar, and staff are all excellent.
R. M.
Looks cool. Big rooms. HUGE beds. Friendly staff. Amazing gin bar. Would deffo go back again.
C. S.
Great service all round with helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.
I. K.
My stay was okay, nothing special.
Breakfast was disappointing, dried hard bacon and sausages.
J. R.
As a Hilton Diamond member I have stayed in lots of Hilton's around the world and in London. Had been a bit hesitant when booking this due to location but was priced well and went for it. Very impressed
B. G.
Amazing. Staff are very welcoming and helpful, amazing food, and great place to stay as it's right by many tourist areas.
N. A.
Convenient location for public transport, rooms well appointed and newly refurbished, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommended.
H.
Very nice place that gives a very very luxurious stay/visit. Concierge less than standard expected. Parking is an utter nightmare as has no onsite parking or agreed parking with local car park companies
H. H.
Brilliant urban atmosphere throughout the hotel, awesome swimming pool, modern facilities in room , loved the speaker in the bathroom
F. T.
Excellent hotel really satisfied. Very clean and spacious rooms. Close to transport ideal to reach central London.
M. T.
Great location and pleasant staff upon arrival.
Food is to a high standard, recommend staying in the penthouse.
D. W.
Beautifully finished, which you pay for.
R. M.
Brilliantly attentive and friendly staff in nice modern and clean rooms. With an excellent, if pricey, bar and restaurant.
A. P.
Beautiful hotel. Modern and contemporary. Drinks and run service are expensive. Lobby staff not particularly friendly.
A. Q.
Wooden feel on each floor. Executive lounge is nice and quiet. Proximity to blackfriars is close. Easy walk into Bank and St Paul's, and right next to the Tate Modern.
H. A.
Comfy and clean. Great location. I'll definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future
K. W.
Tries way too hard. They have a DJ - who can not read a room - on a Wednesday night when there are 12 people in the bar. Drinks are capably made but overpriced and uninspiring.
B. H.
Great place to be. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and a very nice breakfast.
