Reviews of Las Iguanas - London - Royal Festival Hall

Fantastic food. At first I was just a little disappointed to find out they didn't have The Cuban sandwich available. The waiter just said 'We don't have it' and didn't really give any other reason. However the staff were all friendly, the services was really good, just maybe needs to be a bit more organised though. Otherwise really good. So instead I got a classic Burger that I ordered with salad and a side of fries. This was fantastic! All in all, a great meal, a really cool place with pretty amazing food. A really good experience and I look forward to going back again soon and hopefully trying there 'Cuban Sandwich' 🙂

Picked this place for a Saturday evening dinner. We were seated quickly and waitress took our orders. The waitress was awesome and her customer service was top notch!
The nachos were amazing and arrived quickly with the drinks. The mains took a while. The stacked fajitas was really good and the burger was lacking. I thought the chicken burger would be delicious with some special sauce but it was pretty basic.l and dry.
I’d definitely go back there and would recommend it if you’re near or around Waterloo.

We Do like a bottomless brunch and Las Iguanas gave a fine account of itself on a busy saturday lunchtime.
The whole idea of a bottomless brunch is that you should not be sat with an empty glass on the table, there shouldn't be any need to so much as to catch a nenber of staff's eye to get your next drink. If you go anywhere for a bottomless brunch and you have to keep calling a waiter over and remnding them to crack on and fill your glass / get you another pint, you have my permission to just walk away.
Plentiful pints of Corona were brought to the table at Las Iguanas, we didn't have to ask once, the waiter quite rightly understood what bottomless means and delivered mightily well. I think we did about 5 pints and 3 cocktails each. Gotta get your bottomless brunch value.
Highly recommended, especially as you're looking out over the brutalist beauty of the pride of the South Bank, London's Royal Festival Hall.

5/5 for the amazing food as always. I was just a tiny bit upset with they wait time. Even though I appreciate that we got a table even though we were “walk ins”. When we entered they took our name and number and said they’d send us a text upon availability but the wait time would be 30mins. Let’s just say that I waited 40 mins until I went in and asked for a table. (And I still haven’t got that text)😂 Regardless, great service and amazing ambiance xx

Very vibrant and lively place - to some may feel too loud. Very attentive and warm staff. Tasty food, clean facilities, clean toilets. ££ budget menu. Overall positive experience. I’d recommend this place.

Tacos sharing board. Freaking great. Veggie chilli tasted great and the portion size was good despite the price tag.
Also got surprised with 241 cocktails, which didn't hurt.

First time experience having a bottomless brunch , me and my partner upgraded our brunch for an extra £5 giving us the option to have a choice of 6 cocktails with still the choice of beer and prosecco.
You have a choice of a starter and main alongside the bottomless drinks with your 90min slot, we booked our brunch at the London - Royal Festival Hall and we was served by Marc who was was very welcoming and very assertive. He made sure we had drinks on our tables and even to something small like ordering curly chips and getting sweet potatoes instead, he went back to the kitchen and made sure my partner got his portion of curly chips he took this upon himself from self observation without us mentioning it. Apart from that he was bubbly and very welcoming making our experience relaxed and fun.

Went for a boozy brunch on Sunday, starters were small portions (2x chicken wings and soggy nachos) cocktails were nice but attentiveness to top up glasses was a bit sparce! Mains was a decent portion but lacked presentation, then when time was up and the bill arrived they tried to charge us extra for cocktails (which were all included in the deal)

Amazing place to eat, even if is not entirely latino, I enjoyed the whole meal. As a tourist I was relieved when the waiter talked to us in an excellent spanish accent, we didn’t ask for his name but still, we thanked him a lot!
When it comes to the price, it’s the same as any other place, it might be a little pricey for tourists but it’s not more expensive than the rest.
