S. B.Great hotel, fabulous location. Very welcoming staff. Only downside is not enough staff at the moment to service rooms every day. Plus side is if you need anything you only need to ask at reception and it is done almost immediately. Would definitely stay there again

M. R.This premiere inn is well placed for southside events, but is a bit lacking in some respects. It was currently undergoing renovations so I don't know if they usually have food / drink but nothing was available for my stay. On check in the receptionist said my thermostat wasn't working. Nothing about when it would be fixed (sounded longstanding) or a room change. Other than that, a standard premiere inn.

S.Nice clean place to stay. There is a Nandos and Wagamama opposite the Premier Inn which is always useful, the Anchor pub is also close by. Millennium Bridge is a 2 minute walk away passing Shakespeare's globe on the route. This route will take you into the heart of London via St Paul's Cathedral.

J. B.Right in the heart of Borough Market in what feels like the epicenter of fashionable London. Although we only stayed there for one night - 12/09/2020 - the guy at the customer desk was very friendly, chatty and easy going. The room was clean, air-con controlled and definitely value for money. One piece of advice: Forget breakfast at the Anchor pub and reserve yourself a table at Bill's instead! I highly recommend the Golden Latte!
S. B.The customer service prior to staying was the worst I've ever experienced. The only reason it's gone from a 1 to 3 stars is that during my stay the staff were lovely and attentive. Room also in good condition and clean.
C. M.Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. Even left a card and balloon for my partner in the room for her birthday. Nice touch that makes a big difference. Room clean but don't expect a great view (not that we stayed in the room long). Not a problem as Central to all the attractions we wanted to visit. No breakfast here, only in the pub next door, but plenty of other places to grab breakfast of your choosing. If you just need a quiet room for the night Central to many attractions, stay here!
L. M.Great hotel, really, really friendly staff and in a great location, 5 minute walk to London Bridge station and 15 min walk to St Paul's, there were lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms were nice and modern and clean. Nice breakfast next door above a pub. Very traditional. Would definitely stay here again

The breakfasts were a little unsettling though ( I found bits of shell in my scrambled egg) but overall a lovely hotel situated in an atmospheric setting. The market and the river was across from it. The surroundings were beautifully touristy with great food places close by.

We have relatives who come regularly to London and always book this Premier Inn and they are very happy with it. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, they have a nice breakfast and the staff is very friendly. Recommended!
K. P.Lovely clean hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Entrance is strange. Through an archway then a small dark car park. Worrying for a single lady at night. Gates close about 8pm, and you have to ring an intercom to gain entry.
E. M.Stayed for just one night in this Premier Inn tucked away in Bankside. Very friendly staff welcomed us as we walked through the door and this was repeated by the staff manning Reception late into the evening and also at breakfast the next morning. I overheard another guest making a complaint and it was handled with great respect and genuine interest. The rooms were of a good standard as you would expect from Premier Inn: rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory and I found everything I needed, although pots of tea and coffee would be a nice touch rather than having to faff about opening individual tea bags. Highly recommend this hotel for a visit to london.
D. M.Brilliant location, big rooms with good beds and clean en-suite bathrooms. If you don't expect more of a place to sleep in London, this is what you should go for. As for the breakfast: it is served in "The Anchor" next door with a brilliant view over the Thames. But the quality unfortunately is rather questionable. It's up to you.
D. M.A little quirky, but a nice stay. Things like getting ice from the bar next door and not having a face cloth make it in interesting stay, but it didnt brother me too much.
Over all the staff is friendly and seems to enjoy doing what they can to help the customer. And example is a desk girl, when I asked if we could have more hangers, she kindly went to go borrow some from vacant rooms, a very kind gesture when she could have easily said "no".
The hotel is very nice, close to everything and would recommend!
P. B.Good hotel, but hard to find as you can walk straight past the narrow street opening. Staff are friendly but evening menu food is cooked using microwave. I watched the bar man via hatch put everything I ordered into a microwave. It was Ok and price wasn't stupid but hey close the hatch and at least pretend there is a chef. However, breakfast was good and was cooked in the traditional way (I think)

K. H.One night stay on business prior to a conference at a more expensive hotel. Very comfortable stay. Lovely friendly and helpful reception when checking in. Lots of restaurants on the doorstep so plenty of choice to suit your fancy. At checkout young lad apologied he was new but was very polite and pleasant... and everyone has been new at some point in their career. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the entrance to the hotel is through an archway with no lighting so after dark it was not ideal. However I didn't feel unsafe just unexpected in the middle of London to find anywhere dark!
J. P.Great hotel, but the ceilings are paper thin. We were kept awake every night with footsteps going backwards and forwards for hours! Premier Inn customer service is absolutely brilliant though, I'd always recommend staying with them.
K. S.Stayed at the Premier Inn Southwark on 8th March 2013. Cant fault it from walking through the door, the friendly welcome explanation of booking in, the staff were all helpful, cheerful and nothing too much trouble.
Reception were always smiling and making sure we were happy, even when we had booked in earlier , and when we came back after shopping.
Had a lovely breakfast with great choice of food and drinks. Modern decor throughout.
Rooms and beds excellent , spotless clean and comfortable. On checkout , cheerful goodbye and wished us a safe journey.
Will definitely come back and recommend this Premier inn to all.

K. J.I live in the neighborhood and have had guests stay at this hotel several times, including for my wedding. The rooms are simple but comfortable and good to use as a base for many days out. The staff always goes above and beyond to help the guests and I will always recommend them to friends and family. The breakfast isn't worth it (unless you're the type to want unlimited cups of coffee in the morning) so I suggest going to Borough Market for food. The attached pub is quite historic and has reasonably priced pub food that's actually ok. You can't beat the location for the price!!

J. P.Friendly check in and very comfy bed. Clean rooms with great staff. Don't bother with the Anchor pub next door. They had no real ales (the person who changes barrels was off sick !) The staff were more interested in chatting than serving...come on Greene King, this could be a great pub ! We paid extra to have breakfast in the Anchor..NO don't do it !! Cold water for tea, tables not set up or cleaned and when we asked for things the woman was the most rude, unhelpful witch we'd ever met. She should NOT be in hospitality. She spoiled the whole experience. On check out we mentioned all of this and kind Monica apologised a lot ! She kindly refunded the breakfast cost and said she would speak to the manager regarding this rude individual. We would use this hotel again, but in no circumstances would we use the Anchor pub until Greene King sort the problems out.
R. T.Great location. We were able to get a great rate here by booking early and pre-paying. Place was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to the Globe theatre. If you are a walker even the British Museum is only 50min away. London Bridge tube station is only 5 minutes away.
K. W.Hotel is excellent staff are really good sadly the restaurant in the attached pub is not the same standard. Have used the hotel twice now and both times the breakfast was poor to the say the least. Staff do not speak English very well and seem incapable of reacting to a simple request.
Use the hotel by all means it's really good and well placed but go elsewhere for breakfast.
A. M.My husband and I spent 3 nights here was a brilliant stay very comfy beds all staff were very helpful and friendly we had breakfast there which is located in the pub upstairs next door large selection of hot and cold food would highly recommend the breakfast

The hotel is in a superb location , attached to a popular pub and virtually on the bank of the river It is situated close to Shakespeare's GlobeTheatre, The Tate Modern, The Golden Hinde, Borough Market, London Bridge and the Shard. The Italian manager was exceptional in his assistance. He recommended numerous wonderful local restaurants, we visited four during our stay, managed to help me book tickets for the popular" Lion King" at short notice and locate parking. We were warmly welcomed and any sensible request was complied with cheerfully.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. I was spoilt by Premier Inn Manchester (Victoria Bridge). They set the bar, and so the Bankside Premier did not fair well especially as it was 2 pounds more expensive. I definitely wish I hadn't prepaid for these as I would have gone elsewhere!

Bustling folks enjoying life. Stroll through market, up and around London Bridge area. Or down to Shakepeare Globe, also a good place for breakfast. Down to the Tate Modern museum. Across wobbly to see St. Pauls. The list goes on and on.

The staff at the hotel, in particular Jack on reception, were helpful when called upon, very friendly. I would recommend this Premier Inn to any visitor to The Globe Theatre or Bankside, great for Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral too.

N. H.It's everything you expect from a Premier Inn in a great location on the South Bank, close to loads of things to do and see. Virtually next door to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Unusually for the centre of London it has limited parking.
G. J.I had a v enjoyable stay at the Hotel. On my first night I met a colourful chappie who was in the same class as Keith Flett (The Prodigy)!! He regaled me with tales of how they used to go fishing together- sounded great fun. On the second night one of the bar staff offered me some complimentary peanuts after my drink was spilled and offer me a drink on the house- RESULT-OO!!!

La habitación correcta y limpia. El personal muy amable. El hotel se encuentra en una zona cercana al centro y a las principales atracciones. Igual un poco escondido. En la parte negativa, la habitación que nos asignaron se encontraba en la planta baja, pegada a la recepción, por lo que la gente que pasaba por allí parecía que estaba dentro de la habitación. A. X.(Translated) Premier chain hotel. Clean and very spacious room. Well equipped, but has no safe or minibar. Well located, close to several restaurants and breakfast options. It is in a courtyard at the back of a Pub and can be a little difficult to find the first time. Including breakfast and served in this pub (paid separately). The staff is very attentive and helpful. The downside of the location is that despite being in a tourist region everything closes very early. The surrounding streets are completely deserted after 9pm.

Hotel da cadeia Premier. Quarto limpo e bem espaçoso. Bem equipado, mas não tem cofre nem minibar. Bem localizado, próximo de diversos restaurantes e opções de café da manhã. Fica num pátio nos fundos de um Pub e pode ser meio difícil achar na primeira vez. Inclusive o café da manhã e servido neste pub (pago a parte). O staff é muito atencioso e prestativo. O ponto negativo da localização é que apesar de ser numa região turística tudo fecha muito cedo. As ruas em volta ficam completamente desertas após umas 21h.
