The Forge is an amazing place to live in Newcastle. It is next to the train station as well as the quayside. The lobby has great meeting and work spaces and always offers coffee, tea and snacks. The staff at the front desk are all very friendly and professional. The building has an App that you can download to track the status of delivered parcels, buy and sell second hand goods within the community and reserve amenities. Also, kudos to the letting manager Helen who went the extra mile to make my move-in and move-out process hassle free! I highly recommend this accommodation!

My honest review of living at The Forge is that it’s v expensive, noise is definitely a problem - footsteps upstairs, neighbours slamming doors etc, but the staff are nice and the apartments suit smaller city living, for example, there’s not much storage but there is a lift! The resident facilities are good and they take pets which is unusual. Getting our deposit back has been a struggle though, still waiting and we moved out a month ago. They’ve also said they will take £288 off for decoration and cleaning. Neither of which was necessary! I can’t be bothered to argue which I’m guessing they’re counting on…not a bad place to live, just typical city life.

I have lived at the forge for nearly two years. The building is located central; flats are very nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is close to quayside and the river Tyne with beautiful views. I have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone looking for a nice flat in a central location in a great city.

I lived at The Forge Newcastle for 18 months (from February 2020 to August 2021) & despite this being during the COVID-19 pandemic, absolutely loved everything about my time there! My furnished 2 bedroom flat looked & felt amazing & was the perfect size for me to live there on my own during the week & then have my 2 children stay with me every weekend. The quality of the furnishings, kitchen, lounge, bedrooms & 2 bathrooms was very high & the internet speed was also very fast. The shared lounge area for residents downstairs along with the boardroom & meeting booths / work areas are all very cool & the gym is excellent too. The Forge staff are always professional, friendly & very accommodating & the location is amazing too (just a short walk down the hill to the Quayside or up the hill to the Central Station area where the local Sainsbury's & other shops are located. 10/10 for professionals & also families.

I love this pub but I wish the bar staff would take the time to say thank you after I buy my drinks. I've been going in many times (normally waiting for a train) and everytime I tap my card and say thank you for my drinks, the staff have already moved on. It's kinda awkward... This never happens in The Town Wall or Gunners Tavern

What an amazing place to live in! I have been a resident for 6 months now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. All staff (especially Paul and Dan) are super friendly and they would go the extra mile to help you! The flat is very luxurious and so are the common areas. The gym is small but there is all you need and rarely gets very busy. They often organise events to make friends, like quiz nights. Definitely recommend!!!

lived there in 2019-2020 I can say it is the best place to live in in newcastle. - the location is quite and peaceful (it is right next to the river Tyne too). However, there is no close public transportation (buses) -24/7 concierge, feels very safe. - the services provided are great. The lobby and the common areas are ALWAYS clean. the coffee machine is excellent. Also, the front desk will receive your parcels anytime during the day in your behalf and you will be noted by the forge’s app. also they will take care of any maintenance issues simply by the app as will. - it is fun. there is A LOT of events thrown by the front desk where you can socialize and have a good time. and shoutout to my ladies Kelly and Christina in the front desk, they made our stay very pleasant and way more easier. I am truly grateful! I would really recommend The Forge, it might be a little bit more pricey compared with the city rate, but it definitely worth it!.

This is the best place to live in Newcastle, after recently moving in with my friend it feels like we are now living in a hotel rather than an apartment block. All the staff are lovely and there is always someone there 24 hours a day for any help or questions. I particularly love the gym as it’s 24 hours so fits well into my hectic work schedule. I would highly recommend living here and I can’t ever see me leaving as it’s far too luxurious and in a handy distance to all the best bars in Newcastle.

I've been living in the Forge for 3 months now, and although I wouldn't usually leave a review so early I felt inclined to after seeing a 1 star review left by someone with seemingly little cause. This place has been amazing so far - lovely modern flats as well as really helpful and friendly staff. There are great amenities such as delivery lockers so you never miss a parcel, an on-site gym and lounge, and the whole building is really well presented and nice to be in. Easily a 5/5 experience so far for me!

Been living in Forge nearly 6 months now. It's in a fantastic location just behind Central Station & Police Station. The building has 24/7 security and the staff are simply amazing. Great place to live for families and if you have pets. The co-working and meeting lounges are also convenient for freelancers and entrepreneurs. There's a great mixed of residents both local and international.

The best way to live in Newcastle; - Apartments are very well suited. - 24-hour concierge is super handy (Paul is a hero!). - Dedicated workspace and event area are ideal for young professionals. - On-site gym is incredibly handy for daily workouts. We have lived at The Forge for a little over 7 months and can't speak highly enough about living here. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The entire team have handled COVID well, as we felt extremely safe given the number of residents living here. Extremely grateful to how seriously they've taken COVID protocols and following government guidelines. They organized lockdown challenges to help residents feel connected and energized during lockdown - which I think is above and beyond what one would expect for any apartment block of its size. Conveniently located close to the Quayside and train station! We had the chance to use the common areas (lounge and gym) prior to lockdown and both are spot on. Gym is definitely well equipped for an apartment block gym. It's been a great experience living here!

The forge is beautiful, the gym downstairs is a god send if your like me and care about your health more than anything else its incredible, the staff are lovely, Big Dan, Kelly (sorry about the jumpers), Paul is a legend and Christina is my mother away from home. Any problem I have had has been dealt with quickly and moving in was painless thanks to Helen.
