This is the second time I have been to Benjamin Ryan Hair for a full head colour with Ellis and a cut blow dry with Ben and each time I have had a wonderful experience. Ellis is an excellent colour technician really knows what she doing with colour and really takes the time to listen. My colour lasts really well and my hair remains in good condition until my next appointment. I have long hair, Ben cuts my hair beautifully and is a real perfectionist, he is very personable and professional and takes his time to make sure you leave looking fabulous!!!! Ben also gives you lots of tips to maintain you style at home. All the staff at the salon are also just so professional and caring I would not go anywhere else now, I travel from Dudley because I know I’m going to get a really good service and experience!!!!Thank you so much guys!!!!! 😊😊😊😊

Nancy is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. I have curly hair and she has given me a style which enhances my natural curl, but still looks great if I choose to straighten it. Her care and attention is second to none, everyone at the salon is wonderful, I leave there feeling buoyant!

I booked a consultation with Courtney and I was able to show her photos of what colour I desired. She suggested just using a toner on my hair to tone down the blonde which would result in a more brunette look. The following week I had my appointment. Everyone was very friendly. You’re offered a drink when you arrive and the salon was very clean! I had never had a stylist suggest a toner instead of using permanent colour before but I was very pleased with the results and the colour looks great! It’s so incredibly soft as well! I would definitely recommend Courtney!

I was quite nervous and was put at ease by him and given some great advice on my hair as it had been quite a while since i'd been to a salon. I have just moved to Birmingham from London and was on the look out for a new hairdresser which is always daunting and pot luck! So glad I found Benjamin Ryan. I had a cut and blow dry by Nancy and she really listened to what I was trying to do with my hair (grow a pixie cut out but also keep it in a style) and she cut it so well. Hands down the best blow dry I’ve ever had as well, I’ve never left a salon and loved my blow dry!! Amazing feeling and I’ll definitely be back.

Came across the salon via google - searching Birmingham hairdressers. I had my haircut previously by a guy from another salon, unfortunately the salon ceased trade so was on the look for a new hairdresser. i came to see Benjamin who looked after me great. i loved my hair and was exactly how my previous hairdresser did it so i was very happy. would recommend !! halfway through my haircut in comes through the door Anthony! My previous hairdresser! so now i have two of my favourite people in one salon! Absolutely 5* Amazing Experience I booked Ben to do my hair for my wedding and also for my mom and bridesmaid, I had complete faith in him from day one that he would be able to achieve the look I wanted and he certainly did that. Ben came to my parents house on the day of the wedding and started to get to work on us girls straight away, it was was an absolute pleasure to have him with us, we had so much fun laughing and joking the morning disappeared and so did any nerves that I might of had. Ben did a fantastic job to get us all ready in time and the end result of my hair was stunning, Ben stayed right up until I left for the church and made sure my hair was perfect and my veil was positioned perfectly. At last I have found a salon that listens and provides exactly what I ask for. Ryan cuts my hair - thick and lots of it - it looks and feels amazing when he's finished - a style I can cope with too when I get home. Not scissor happy in the slightest. Lovely guy who makes you feel like you've known him years. Fantastic personal service and an amazing haircut. Wont go anywhere else now Ive found Ryan. Also I recently had a complete colour change with Paige. I went from Blonde highlights after 40 years to Copper / Rusty red. Paige listened to exactly what I wanted. We then discussed the options and went through the ipad and colour chart together. I was a little nervous has to be said, but Paige explained what would work and what wouldn't. Paige understood exactly the look I was after which gave me the confidence to go ahead. Well what can I say - the transformation was amazing - Im having so many compliments from friends and customers. I simply love it. So much warmer. Thank you so much Paige, its knocked years off me! Best Salon around, professional, friendly, lovely atmosphere and most of all you get exactly what you ask for. Highly recommend.

The last time I visited, I was given a hair 'style' rather than a hair 'cut', which isn't what I'd gone in for. Of course my hair looked fab for that afternoon (whilst I was doing my daily chores!) but once I'd washed it that evening, without the styling my hair looked almost the same as when I went in! I couldn't re-create the style, so was left still needing a proper hair 'cut'. I felt cheated. I also couldn't be bothered with the hassle of finding a slot in their busy timetable and didn't have the time nor patience for the squashed and noisy environment. Especially when I'd paid £60 to then need to go elsewhere for a haircut. I haven't been back.
