a. r.Best salon in Dorset! Since moving down to Dorset 4 years ago, I've struggled to find a salon that I've been totally happy with, so, I am delighted to have eventually discovered Charelle at Simone Thomas. Honestly, she is a magician! The salon has a beautiful interior, and the vibe is calm and serene but also friendly and warm. The team were all incredibly polite and helpful, and it's clear that there is a great sense of camaraderie amongst the staff. The salon is definitely towards the higher end of the price bracket that I would usually pay, but, I must say, worth every penny. I have already booked back in for my next appointment, and my sister is booking in too. Would definitely recommend :)
K. M.Absolutely fantastic staff and salon. I have very difficult, curly hair and have dreaded going to hair salons in the past, but this has now changed.
Staff are extremely personable and welcoming. They make you feel at ease on entering the salon and are very accommodating - I was even able to bring my 5 month old baby with me to a consultation.
Staff really take time over your hair and make sure you are happy with the end result. The level of customer service is fantastic and the rapport between staff members is also great, which adds to the positive atmosphere of the salon.
My most recent appointment was with Ashleigh, who was absolutely lovely. She really listened to what I wanted and gave great advice. I was extremely satisfied with the end result and my partner even said it suited me a lot better than how I usually have my hair!
I will definitely be back and would recommend the salon to anyone.
K. M.I've been coming to Simone Thomas for several years, and it is the most FANTASTIC salon ever! Such a great atmosphere, beautifully decorated and lovely, lovely friendly staff. Georgie has been doing my hair extensions for years and I would never go anywhere else and recommend her to all my friends. I left the salon today after having a fresh set put in, and I am totally over the moon. I know how hard Georgie worked to get an exact colour match and it is perfect. She always goes above and beyond and is a total star. Thank you also to Sophie who gave my natural hair the most beautiful colour. A first class team, thank you Simone Thomas!

The salon is always clean, staff had adjusted to the new salon rules well and I was made to feel comfortable. I feel it is value for money due to the excellent service provided. Loving the make over after lockdown! 😊
S. E.Simone Thomas is just fantastic. I had been using the same hairdresser for 25+ years and fancied a change, I'm so pleased I did. Erica has done wonders with my hair which in turn has really boosted my confidence. The staff are all wonderful and the salon is really friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit, you'll feel a million dollars afterwards!! It's not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for, and it's well worth it. Thank you all at the salon for making each visit so special.

Since my first visit to Simone Thomas, I knew this would be the salon I would always come to. It's welcoming, professional but friendly, and it looks like everyone enjoys working there! I never feel obligated to buy any products but I do because it's great quality and perfect for my hair type.

This is a fantastic salon i have been coming here for a number of years firstly with Paula and now with Ashleigh. Every stylist I have had has been great and they manage to get my hair to the colour I want, despite many other salons trying and failing (or just telling me it's 'not possible'). I have to give particular thanks to Jo who managed to rescue my hair from a lockdown home-dye disaster. To say she transformed my hair is an under-statement! I also took my young daughter with me for a cut and Ashleigh took the time to style her hair with the most amazing plaits. My daughter was over the moon!!!! Plus, the decor is lovely and all the team really friendly (and very Covid-conscious with temp checks, PPE etc.).

The staff are very friendly and listen and ask questions so they know exactly what look you’ve got in your mind’s eye and before they get to work on you they offer you a ‘real’ cappuccino and a exquisite macaroon! O. W.When you walk out the door feeling a million dollars you are leaving Simone Thomas. Had a cut and then a balayage with Sharelle and am so pleased with it! She nailed the brief and my rather eclectic mix of Pinterest inspo and the end result was exactly, no better, than what I wanted. I also walked away with loads of hairstyling tips and advice on how to look after my hair, even advice on brushes and shampoos etc. Also, they have a very responsible covid policy which was great to see. I'll be back for sure. We'll done Sharelle and team. Xx
E.Very clean and lovely salon, really enjoyed having my hair cut.
The only thing I would have to say is that prises rise when they get promoted and if you've been with the same person for a while it's is a shame that you then have to pay more. Apart from that I would really recommend this place it has a nice ambience and very professional.
