Got a great undercut, unfortunately Zed spent most of my hair cut espousing her covid conspiracy views and exclaiming how much she doesn’t like children.. after I had told her about my new baby and my son! Made me feel uncomfortable so won’t be going back :(

Had the most lovely experience at Damage! In the past hairdressers have made really unnecessary snarks at my hair's condition or if I've used box dye but Zed was so kind and welcoming, I felt like I had been a client for years! I love my new bob cut and I can't wait to come back and bleach the sh** out of it 😈😇💖

My favourite hairdressers! These guys/gals/non binary bbs are amazing ♡ Jason has been cutting my hair since 2018 now and he's excellent! This place is sadly not wheelchair accessible but that's because it's an old building and don't let that be a reflection on how great the service is :3 Staff are v helpful and have a stunning array of punk colours!

Poppy has actually managed to make me fall in love with my hair, she did such a great job! I've always wanted ashy tones, but no hairdresser I've ever gone to previously had managed to successfully strip the brassiness out of my hair. Thankfully, Poppy was able to blend out my harsh balayage by giving me gorgeous fine highlights and toning the ends so they're a lovely cool, silvery shade. I'll definitely be going back to Damage and requesting Poppy for my next hair update.

I love Damage. This place is so warm, friendly and inviting. Zed is an absolute legend and presides over a lovely team. It's fun being there and the service is excellent but also devoid of the wankyness of some Brighton salons. Zed is the best bleach fairy in town and always sorts out my roots perfectly and advises on all manner of interesting toners to keep things varied. Can't recommend Zed and Damage highly enough. Don't hesitate.

Excellent. Stylists and staff very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Refreshments offered. The cut and colour from Jason was brilliant and still looks great. I have received lots of compliments from people. You get to listen to a variety of music genres. Great fun!
