I have been getting my haircut with these gentlemen for almost 10 years. They are masters of their craft. I’ve never had the quality I get here matched by any other barber. The shop is always immaculately clean, as are they. Service is 10/10. During the winter you’ll be offered a glass of vintage port or a warming spirit. G&T in the summer. Tea, coffee or water all year round. Your haircut is really only part of the experience you have when you book an appointment at Berkeley Barbers.

Fantastic barbers! Great customer service and a real care for the job in hand. Luke was probably one of the most caring barbers I've ever met who spent the extra time to get the cut exactly right. He also wasn't afraid to talk through what I wanted and used his expertise and creative vision to make it happen. Would recommend to anyone but the student discount sure makes it worth it!

I've been a customer of Kiri's (at Berkeley Barbers and his previous barber shop) for many years since I was a student, which is hopefully recommendation enough with the volume of competition around in the area. Kiri runs an excellent shop: he is always a smart, affable and genial host who looks after his customers and expects his colleagues to have the highest standards too (and on the rare occasions that they have not, I know that Kiri has made it clear that they are no longer welcome to work in his shop). I do recommend using the on-line booking system from their Web site as that is an easy way to find a convenient time, whilst not disturbing the guys attending to customers. Don't forget to cancel in good time if you can't make an appointment - small businesses suffer hard when people don't consider this!

Moreover, fantastic prices for the quality of service and the guys are always friendly and welcoming. Have tried many other barbers in Bristol and found these guys to be the best.

I've been to many different salons and barbers over the years trying to find the perfect cut at a reasonable price. I have to say from start to finish the experience at Berkeley barbers was the most pleasant and easy experience I've ever had getting my hair cut! Matt was professional and easy to talk to, but best of all gave me a cut easily as good as any I've ever gotten at such a decent price!! Can't recommend highly enough, definitely pay them a visit if you're not 100% happy with your current barber.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and a nice haircut too. Arrived without an appointment and was clearly told it would be half an hour but they've got comfy chairs and I had a book to read so it wasn't a problem. As a female who prefers masculine hairstyles i’ve had trouble finding a good hairdresser/barber, Most barbers are not welcoming to females “we only do gents” being the typical response and hairdressers struggling with my disobedient asian hair. I called up Berkeley Barbers and asked if they cut girls’ short hair too, they told me they are a unisex barber- finally a modern business! Kiri was so friendly, I never once doubted his ability, you could just tell he had a lot of experience under his belt the way he effortlessly, and skilfully, used the blade, razor, and scissors. Unlike most places I went to, he never once complained about my hair he just worked with it which was really refreshing. I was surprised about the cost because it was so cheap! Only £11 for students, I’m so used to being ripped off with hairdressers charging me women’s prices(ridiculous I know, given the few strands I have). Out of all my years searching for a good hair cut I finally found a place where I am as happy about overall experience, price and -most importantly- the cut; this should hint how picky I am and my love for precision. I’ve finally gotten the weight, texture, disconnected style that I’ve wanted. I am so happy that I want to spread the word about this place to everyone!
