Popped in for a trim. Staff very welcoming. The lady who cut my hair was lovely. She did a great job. The place is spotless.. A really good experience. The price was good. Thoroughly recommend it.On my next visit Amanda cut my hair. She was lovely and did a fabulous job. Thank you.

What can I say? Blades are super stylists! I can in with a mop of hair that hadn't been cut for a few months; starting to resemble a mullet. The barber who cut my hair (forgot her name) gave it a complete transformation. Within a relatively short time it was starting to look presentable and by time she finished, I looked like a new man. Probably the smartest haircut I've had for a long time! Staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. 5-stars, no less!

Took my son for a pre-Christmas hair cut yesterday. The young fellow who cut his hair did a brilliant job!! The haircut was spot-on and it was delivered with humour and a real pamper, which made my son feel really special. Yes we had a long wait and the card machine was temporarily down.. but it was SO WORTH IT!! Thank you to the lovely staff for a very special treat before Christmas... brilliant as always!!

EDIT; After having a bad first experience I was invited back to rectify it. I was very dubious and worried that I would have another similar appointment. The staff went above and beyond to please me and make sure my experience made up for the previous, this time double checking everything to make sure that everything I was asking for was understood. The staff are friendly and welcoming and didn't make the situation feel awkward. I had both my haircut and beard tidied as I had specified, however neither were of a flawless finish and I will have to tidy up patches. I may return as my most recent experience resolved most of my past troubles. They weren't wearing their mask correctly; was wearing it under their nose. Wouldn't cut my hair as asked, as it would "look like two different haircuts". Towards the end of the cut seemed more interested in going to lunch than doing the haircut I asked for. As they were so rushed I didn't even bother asking for a beard shaping as it seemed like it would have been an inconvenience.

I have been using Blades for years because of the fantastic people that work there. They are professional and welcoming and I am always treated as a guest when I visit. Today I hand my monthly chat and catch up but got a great hair cut as well. Today was Enza and she did a great job to my hair. I would recommend Blades to anyone.

Had my haircut the other day and fancied a change. Discussed the idea of a skin fade with Helen. Helen knowing how I like my hair, suggested trying it at a "0" first before I went for the full skin fade. Very happy with the result and the advice from an experienced barber. Will be returning again!

I took my two young boys for a haircut today at Blades for the first time and had a great experience. The team were welcoming, it was a relaxed environment, but had all the appropriate measures in place for keeping us safe amongst the current Covid outbreak. The boys were treated like little men as opposed to a ‘quick kids cut’. The salon was spotless and the lad sweeping the hair worked endlessly the whole time we were there to keep it looking spotless. Chairs were cleaned between use, and the boys were asked to sanitise their hands before taking a sweet as a reward for being well behaved which was reassuring that the staff are taking the safety of customers seriously. Highly recommended and will be returning.

Modern air conditioned premises. Usually 3 or 4 cutters working (when I take my son on a Saturday) so waiting kept to a minimum, important as no appointments. Numerous screens constantly showing music videos which is nice for relieving the boredom of waiting. Friendly, competent staff; good with children and a sweet for them. Most importantly, good hair cutting.

I had both my boys hair cut by Colby. They were really shy being only 9 and 10 but he made them feel at ease and really engaged with them. He gave them brilliant cuts which they loved and have said they dont want to go anywhere else. Mum was pleaseed too 😉 And a great price also. Defo reccomend! I was also extreamly please with how they are dealing with COVID and sanitising everything often. We felt very safe

hit or miss seems to me that theres two (with out being rude)older women in there that are really good and always had good cuts with them,, then the others let it down, for example one time i had the taller woman-mid aged sat me down 5 mins after another customer (with the good lady) who was having similar cut as me-short 1 back and sides 5 mins before me then she done mine within 3-5 mins i was out the chair and the other lady was still doing his hair and i was walking out there door, seems if can't have those two women might not get a good cut maybe i need to ask for them if possible?? but its put me off going back for now
