Since moving to Clifton 2 and a half years ago, I've tried several different barbers around the village but always end up deciding the the guys at the British barber co do a much better job for the same (if not, cheaper) price. Amir is always friendly and welcoming with a story or 2 to tell and all the other guys there are just as fun to talk to and have banter with. Always come away with a cut better than what I had in mind (I'm not a stylish trend-setter or anything, short back and sides with a trim on top, generally. Pretty standard.). Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Well done guys.

Easily the best place for a Gents haircut in Bristol. The value for money is crazy for the service and the actual haircut you get. I have recommended this place to all of my friends who now go and I can’t recommend it enough to others. I can only speak about Amir who cuts my hair but if the others are even as half as good as he is then you will leave knowing you are going to come back again. I don’t mess around with what’s on my head! I have been with them for over 3 years now and couldn’t go anywhere else.

I've been a regular customer for 3 years now. This barbers is by far the best I've been to; it's in a good location, has friendly staff and an all round great environment for a haircut. I usually get my haircuts by Jack who always produces top class results, I can't say I've ever left unhappy with a haircut. I've recommended him to friends who also share the same opinion. Jack is a really good barber, I have no criticism bar the fact he supports Spurs. Would definitely recommend getting a haircut here.

I had a haircut once here which was good and the price was good for Clifton. However when I returned 2 months later, there was 2 people in the queue. I waited 5 min then told one of the hairdressers I was just going to walk the dog for 20min, before I finished the sentence he told me he would not keep my place ( I wasn't going to ask him to but anyway.. ) I asked if he though he would still be busy in 20min , he said " I don't know I'm not Jesus " I don't mind sarcastic comments when they are actually funny, this was not the case.

When he moved location, from the St Nicholas shop up to Clifton Village, I decided to walk out of my way in order to continue having him cut my hair. I came in to see Amir with stress induced alopecia which caused large bold patches on my scalp. As you can amagine I was very much at a loss with what to do as I had tried steroid cream prescribed by my GP and also hair loss shampoo. After several weeks of trying this I seemed to be getting nowhere with it. So I popped into the Clifton Branch to see Amir and he informed me of a very specific technique he knows of and has used in the past. I was very weary of this as it did sound like it wouldn’t really work.... however since iv been back to see Amir at least 3-4 time the bold patches have all but grown back, thicker and with more volume to boot! I can’t stress enough how amazing the results were for me and I honestly know it was all down to Amir and his wonderful technique. He really is a magician, great guy and a 5* barber. If you suffer from stress induced Alopecia you MUST go in and see Amir, you will NOT regret it!
