Lorraine was so lovely and professional. I get anxious about my hair, however, she made me feel so comfortable and the extensions are so light on my head, I could not imagine going anywhere else. I’ve struggled for many years finding a salon that properly deals with my hair type (blasian hair -Indian and Caribbean). I’ve been to Salon LaReine twice and she’s done an amazing job! I’ve had their Botanic repair treatment with the overnight serum treatment and it’s helped when I straighten and curl my hair. Since I’ve been transitioning from awful damaged, relaxed hair to all natural, coming here has helped me so much!

I’ve been coming to Lareine for Brazilian blow out, colouring as well as general styling. I have Afro hair and it’s so refreshing to go to a mainstream Aveda salon that’s on time and gets the job done quickly to a very high standard. I came across Lorraine by chance on the internet after desperately googling what to do after my post chemo hair recover. I was fortunate enough not to loose all my hair as I had the cold cap but I did loose a bit. I went to a Trichologist, another hairdresser and another hair loss specialist but no one spent the time and care that the lovely Lorraine did. She explained to me about what my hair needed but also helped me look and feel amazing!!!! I religiously followed her suggestions and my hair is now the longest it’s ever been and in the best condition! Lorraine not only knows her stuff but she’s so kind and lovely, she can make you feel so at home even when your feeling at your lowest. It really helped knowing that Lorraine was a fellow breast cancer survivor so she was so much more relatable. You can honestly tell her anything! Lorraine is a brilliant Aveda hair dresser and no matter what your hair is like she will sprinkle her magic and make you look and feel a million dollars!! From the moment I walked in the salon I knew I was in the right place. She listened to what I wanted, what I liked, what I didn’t, explained a few different options and made some great suggestions. However that was only part of the experience. Lorraine is such a genuine lovely person; I was there for a good few hours and everyone who came into the salon seemed to be a long lost friend. I can thoroughly recommend Lorraine. I went to her initially more than 2 years ago for a consultation for a hair loss problem. As you can imagine I was very upset and concerned about this. Lorraine listened to me with compassion and was so caring, friendly and helpful just visiting her made me feel so much better. Since then I visit her every 6 weeks. My experience with Lorraine so far has been nothing but amazing. I’ve spent a lot of money on my hair in the past but never truly satisfied so it is a relief to have found somebody that really understands what I want to do with my hair (and not just telling me that I am lucky to hair curls and therefore I shouldn’t straighten my hair....grr) So far I have had colour (baby lights) and bond hair extensions both I am extremely happy with. I stumbled across Lorraine on Instagram… and after only looking at a few of her posts I knew that I had to make an appointment for a consultation. I wasn’t expecting to get in with Lorraine if I’m honest, from the reviews and her posts on Instagram this woman never stops and has a client list for miles and miles…. but Lorraine replied to me straight away and tried to accommodate me with even with evening appointments. That in itself impressed me. The consultation was one of the best I have ever had, it wasn’t rushed at all. Lorraine gave me all the options available to me and explained them thoroughly and just made me feel comfortable and at ease. I could not wait for actual appointment and Lorraine didn’t disappoint at all, this lady is amazing and you can tell from the get-go, this is her passion. I always used to wear my hair up….over processing and age I guess has thinned it out slightly and I never felt that it did anything, it was just drab and the easier option was to wear it up…. Not any more -Lorraine has brought my hair back to life. Not only is my colour amazing and very natural, I now have long thick hair. Not only is Lorraine an AMAZING hairdresser, she is also a lovely down to earth person. I cannot recommend Lorraine highly enough. Ladies you need Lorraine in your life.

Having gone from one awful hairdresser to another over the course of the last year, my hair was ruined, it had become really badly damaged and had all snapped off around the crown. I had been to see other reputable hairdressers who had tried to repair the damage but they were not willing to colour it as I wished, and the one hairdresser who did colour it made it go bright yellow! I had honestly lost all faith and trust in hairdressers and was concerned about going somewhere new in case it got ruined even further. Having buried my head in the sand for a while, I looked up hairdressers who specialised in hair loss and colouring and I stumbled across Lorraine by luck. As soon as I read her reviews and saw her pictures, I knew I had to meet her. I had to wait a while for an appointment but she was so worth the wait. It was obvious immediately that she really really knew her stuff and she discussed various options with me. I have now had two colour appointments with her and she has absolutely transformed my hair within 10 weeks . I had dark roots and very bleached ends and she has somehow managed to blend the colour through my hair so it looks really really natural whilst still maintaining the condition and I'm still blonde!! I was convinced I would have to go dark so am delighted with what Lorraine has managed to achieve. She also cut it in such a way that the breakage was not so obvious as well. I had lost all confidence and for the first time in 8 months, I have been able to wear my hair down. I've only seen Lorraine twice but she is a truly very talented lady and is also absolutely lovely with it., I really look forward to our catch ups. I'm not going anywhere else ever again. I would highly recommend Lorraine, her reviews and pictures speak volumes about her. I can not recommend this lady enough! Done quite abit of research and had a few consultations including a well know salon in london who told me my afro Caribbean hair was too thin for micro beads 🤔 By far this was the most informative and most comfortable experience. The salon is like a boutique cute not to big not to small welcoming atmosphere. Lareine herself is very professional but relaxing she explained all options suitable for me lareine showed me the pros and cons each application so i could make a decision which would be best for my lifestyle and routine. We went through the quality of hair and why it is quality so i would have been able to purchase my own hair if i wanted or purchase through herself making the process simple Overall really good consultation booked a appointment and i am confident i have 1 of the best extensionist the southwest offers I have edited this review as not sure how to write another one so here is a update i attened my appointment on the 17th December 2019 and i cant be more honest my hair looks absolutely amazing better than i pictured whilst at the salon there was other ladys getting colouring done and other services. Lareine herself was in was amazing tending to everyones hair making everyone feel welcome she engaged us all in group conversations. The colour correction i seen her do was amazing she just knew what to do. Nothing was to much i was offered plenty of refreshments and enjoyed the time i was there i left feeling good with bonce and length in my hair that actually looked like my hair. The colour match lareine recommend was perfect blended so well. And of course i didn't leave without a appointment. I cant find a reason to not go back. Thank you for your amazing service

I had an unexpected allergic reaction to my hair colour despite having it done before. Lorraine has had me back for 3 appointments until we got to a colour I was happy with - and didn't react to! I don't think there is anything Lorraine doesn't know about hair. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely excellent !! I went with a picture in mind and the results were amazing. I had jet black hair and I came out with a cold blonde hair colour which I wanted. I couldn’t fault the professionalism. Definitely recommend!! Will be back again 100%
