v. c.I took my 10 year old nephew for a hair cut with Barber 💈 Laura O’Neil. She was really good with him, listened to what he wanted and made suggestions to the type of cut that would suit him. She happily chatted away and made my nephew felt so comfortable. He really enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return to Laura for his next hair cut.

I couldn’t recommend a barber anymore than I could with him, he creates a great experience with not just the product of his hair cut but with the service he provides by getting along with and easy to talk to. If you’ve just moved to Cardiff or looking for a new barber, David at Lazarou barbers should be your go to.

I've got curly hair, and always had my hair a little longer, so I was nervous about getting it cut shorter, but she put those to rest with her talent. G.I've been going here since 2016 and I have never had a bad experience going to Lazarou. They know how to get the style I want just right and they nail it each time. Laura who normally does my hair always gets an 11/10 from me, always great to talk to when she is cutting my hair and if ever I want something different than I usually have, Laura always gets that spot on too.
Laura also has a great taste in music when playing her playlists during my visits, especially country music!!! 🤠

For about a year Laura has been cutting my hair. She really understands my messy wild hair and how I like it to look when I leave. From day one she listened to what I wanted, advised how best we could do it and I have had the same cut from Laura ever since. Brilliant job every time and great to chat with. Would recommend

M. M.I went to Lazarou barbers for the first time earlier this week. I wanted to try something new with my hair, something that I had done before. The hair dresser I had was Marcio Alexandre, he made me feel confident and comfortable while he worked. In addition, Marcio asked me question through out the process about what I wanted and suggested things that I had not considered. This meant that I was able to get the exact hair cut I wanted. I love the hair cut he gave me and all my friends have noticed it and complimented it. I would highly recommend him.

C. C.I always have my hair cut by Laura. This is for a number of reasons. The main being that she is the best barber I have been to in Cardiff over a number of years. Every cut is perfect and better than I picture it being, with an added twist from her that always improves my ideA if how I want it to look.
The other reason is that it’s rare you can go to a barber and instantly feel comfortable. You get this when you’re greeted at the door of the salon (every time and by whomever is working) and then when you’re sat at Laura’s chair. She has a magnetic personality and is warm and friendly. It feels like a friend is cutting my hair. A very talented friend at that. 5*

W. W.After changing jobs last year I had changed my barbers to this one. Laura Oneill had cut my hair for the first time a good few months ago and all I can say is that I hope she never leaves as I am so happy with my haircut!
She was very patient and willing to help develop my hair to the way I wanted it just by showing her a photograph.
After a few visits I am almost there, I can not recommend Laura Oneill enough very professional and lovely to talk to which makes the experience so much better!

P. S.This was my first visit to Lazarou Bros, Duke Street Arcade. I was recommended to go there by a young lady who works at reception at the Holiday Inn.
I wanted my beard shaved off, and was given a hot towel shave by a fantastic member of staff who really is a credit to the company.
Both he and his colleague were friendly, engaging and thorough. I'd only ever had one other cut throat shave before, and I really wasn't too keen.
However, I need not have worried, as I was looked after so well. The end result was perfection for me, anyway.
I now intend to come back to Cardiff every eight weeks or so, for a similar makeover, even though I live in London.
Brilliant service, highly recommended.
Much to my amazement, they even accepted credit and debit card payments, unheard of in a gentleman's hairdressers.

The barber (think his name was Luke) was brilliant, listened to what I wanted, but also gave advice on my hair style. All the barbers were really welcoming when I came in, one even took my coat for me.
Its a nice touch having tv and ipads there for you while your waiting.
I had a young girl cut my hair, she was polite and cheerful when she greeted me, and made me feel comfortable throughout.
I was really pleased with the finished cut, she'd clearly listened to what I wanted. The haircut was very tidy.

The haircut and shave are tidy but not as good as I thought they would be. The shave in particular left me feeling a bit butchered and I am still quite red raw on the neck and cheek where they put the line in. Even got cut by the razor at one point. In all it wasn't the worst but wasn't anywhere near the standard I had expected.

r. h.I went to Lazarou for a hair cut and beard trim. Didn't have to wait for long which is one good thing, the staff were very friendly and talkative which is nice but then a again I'm going for a banging haircut not a chat. The price was heavily over priced for what I wanted they wanted £30 but I thought I'd go ahead with it in the hope that I would get a haircut and beard trim that would match the price. To be fair the haircut was quite good, the fade wasn't amazing but it was good enough. The beard trim wasn't sharp enough though I'm afraid and the barber didn't prepare the skin enough with shave gel so it was quite a dry shave which actually agrivated the skin. If I was paying 10 or 15 quid then I wouldn't be complaining but £30 Im sorry but that is daylight robbery

Friendly greeting when you walk in and a waiting area downstairs with free coffee, TV and PS4, plus a hot towel to wipe you neck and face after the cut. Some may think it is a tad expensive at £22 but I am more than happy to pay that for the service and knowing I will walk out with a good cut each time.
