N.I had my first appointment with Shannon on Saturday following a consultation and skin test the week before, when we discussed what we would be doing and what I hoped to achieve. I had booked half a head of highlights with a cut and I'm really impressed the results! She did a lovely job, got the colour right to the roots and combined the bleach with the contrasting dark hair that I wanted to remain. My hair looked fabulous afterwards and I am quite picky, I'm not someone who is easily pleased so hats off to her.
I used to have highlights but had gone back to my previous dark hair for a few years but I'm so glad I made the decision to go blonde again. I would recommend Shannon to anyone, she is friendly and really listens to what it is YOU want and managed to put me at ease - so I enjoyed my experience in the salon and left a happy customer! Thanks Shannon :)
K. C.Would just like to say Ben cuts hair better than any stylist I have been to, and I have been to many in my 65 years! Has great flair for knowing what style would suit, important for people who are not sure what style to try..Have come out of salons on many occasions very unhappy,but never leaving my hair in bens capable hands! And a nice friendly guy to boot,makes you feel comfortable and takes genuine interest ..
S. B.Benn has been my hairdresser for over a year now, and that is unprecedented for me. I rarely feel comfortable at the hairdressers, but Benjamin Charles Hair is different.
Benn sat me down and took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions and as a result I came away feeling great and with a great haircut to match!
The salon is very friendly and for the first time in years I'm very happy with my hair. Benn has advised me on how to look after my style at home and even invited me to bring in my products so he could help me choose which ones were suitable for my hair. At Christmas time I welcomed advice for party hair, and he's taught me how to look after my hair colouring at home properly too.
If you've struggled to find a hairdresser who is a human being, actually listens and really helps you feel a million dollars I'd recommend Benn and his team. I always look forward to my visits!

The salon itself is always clean and well organised, staff members get along well and always offer hot or cold beverages!
Daryl has been doing my hair for best part of a year now, and has helped me achieve the colour I desired. He is full of fantastic advice including what hair care products to use to get the best results for look, texture and manageability of my hair! He always has a smile on his face and is very chatty.

B. F.Benn is an absolutely fantastic hair stylist and hugely passionate about what he does. Felt instantly comfortable within a plush, fantastically designed purple interior; not to mention Benn's friendly personality and great sense of humour! I received a brilliant haircut that everyone has said suits me and I will definitely be returning here very soon. Non-rushed, professional, and a guarantee that he will change your haircut if your not happy with it within 10 days, Benn knows exactly how to treat each and every head of hair out there with care, finesse and flair!
B. F.Went to Benn for haircute for more than 5 years. After being horrendously ill and calling him before the appointment (only 5 minutes before as I was so ill I barely knew what day it was). He then told me I would need to pay for the haircut in full. I'd been a loyal customer for such a long time, and would often have to wait 20-30 minutes for him to finish with his last appointment - I never ever complained about it, not even once. People would sometimes say he didn't do a good job of my hair but I would stay loyal to him and still go, however I was upset that he still wanted me to pay for the haircut, considering my long loyal service as a customer and after previously leaving 5 star reviews. He's a good guy though and has been in the hair trade a long time.
J. W.Ben is an absolutely top class hairdresser with very good customer service skills. Despite slightly over running on a previous appointment he took the time to come over and apologise to me and offer me a drink whilst I was waiting. Makes you feel completely at ease and provides an exceptional service by listening carefully and then telling you exactly what he thinks will work for you. Clearly very passionate about what he does and I can't recommend him highly enough. Very satisfied, thanks Ben.
A.Have been coming here for years now and wouldn't even think about going anywhere else! Great atmosphere, the stylists listen carefully to what you'd like and do their absolute best to achieve it, with amazing results. My mum wasn't happy with her hair and had been to various salons, so last year decided to give Benjamin Charles Salon a try and also hasn't gone anywhere since. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
