My daughter wanted a completely new look. She has curly hair and wanted to be much shorter. It was a difficult cut because of the amount that needed to be taken off, but Shannon has really done the most amazing cut. My daughter's hair looks fantastic. Shannon took so much time and the results show her talent. It is hard to find curl by curl cuts and I would highly recommend this service.The staff are friendly and we will definitely be repeat customers.

This was my first haircut with Michaela and I am so pleased with results. She made me feel at ease and listened to what I wanted. Her knowledge of curly hair is exceptional and she gave brilliant advice and tips throughout the whole appointment, from washing, styling and products. I highly recommend Michaela if you have curly hair and the salon as everyone was very friendly and professional. Easy to get to by car or train which is not to far to walk to.

From my first enquiry to walking out of the salon, I have had nothing but a five star experience with HairLounge47. Michela, the curly hair specialist, was honestly so lovely, down to earth and so full of knowledge. She has helped me so much to understand how to take care of my hair (as I have struggled with it for years) and was so informative throughout the process, giving me tips and tricks whilst washing and styling my hair. My curls are even curlier than I thought they could be. The other lady (who I believe is called Alison) was also incredibly friendly and kind. Honestly wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else now. Emily has not only coloured my hair and done a fantastic job, but she also researched a colour without harsh chemicals for me. I asked her to find a natural, chemical-free colour to use on my hair. This was the first time I've coloured my hair after having cancer treatment, and I was particularly anxious about colouring it for the first time after chemo. Emily researched and found a product, did a skin test and communicated with me throughout. She went above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Wow, Michela is a magician! Or perhaps a fairy godmother for curls! I cannot believe how good my hair looks - I'm obsessed! After years of not treating my hair as a curly girl should, I'm stunned at how curly it's turned out today; and I'm assured it will be even more so in time. Michela gave me lots of advice to keep my hair looking good and did some lovely treatments on it to restore the mess I'd created! The cut is great, much more stylish than what I had. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'm already booked in for another appointment as she is in high demand. The salon was very neat, clean and airy and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. There is parking on the High Street, but it's a main road with lots of buses, so I used a side-street. No parking restrictions apparent.

Emily did an amazing job colouring my hair and recommended a trim rather than a cut meaning I kept the hair length I am happy with, rather than being forced into cutting my hair shorter as with previous salons, very happy with the results - lots of compliments - would highly recommend
