I had my hair bleached and coloured by the lovely emily! She went above an beyond to make sure the colour was what I wanted. I'm so so happy with the finished product and so thankful for everything emily did for me! The pink was from a dye I brought in and not what I was expecting. She managed to save it by using colour theory to correct it back to the planned red. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I’ve been delighted with the results every time I’ve had a colour, cut and blow dry. I’ve come to rely on a friendly atmosphere, excellent customer service, honest competitive pricing, and a handy reminder before appointments. The team really do create a relaxing environment for the pamper sessions. I definitely recommend them.

Hannah has been doing my hair at Salon Central for a while now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My hair always looks great after coming here and today is no exception. Great colour and cut. Thank you and see you again in 6 weeks!

I had my hair done by Izzie and it was a great experience. She was really nice and very tentative the whole time giving me many opportunities through each stage of the cut to say if I wanted anything done differently as expectations of a haircut can be different when seeing it on your own hair. I left with exactly what I’d wanted, feeling really happy as she’d done a great job, and I didn’t feel like I had to push at all to get the cut I’d originally asked for like some places I’ve been in the past. So definitely will be returning here :)

After countless review readings oh salons across Colchester I got a recommendation from a friend after finding this place and booked my first appointment. I had the pleasure of Izzie who made me feel SO comfortable, listened to what I actually wanted and took into consideration I was slightly nervous. I left feeling amazing and loved my hair. Dee was the wonderful woman who got my hair from an ugly red to a beautiful light blonde. She was honest from the beginning, she spoke kindly the entire time, asking how I was feeling. She literally made sure everything was in order. To be honest, I did not imagine our session could go so good, as I had red hair and I asked for a light colour. She did just that! She did it amazingly! The salon is really clean, all the colleagues are nice and kind as well. Best salon in town, in my opinion!

I’m not normally one to write reviews but today I had to mention Dee as she gave me the best wash, cut and blow dry I have ever had! She was very friendly, thorough and a real perfectionist. I’ve had my wolfcut hairstyle here and ever since i’ve been a regular, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Had my hair coloured here after an at home mishap and it was fixed so nicely and at such a good price. You get your hair washed, dryed, cut and styled for only £32 which is amazing, 10/10

Loved getting my soft perm here, Katrina knew exactly what I wanted and how to achieve it! While teaching her trainees I was comfortable and relaxed thanks to the friendly vibe. Would most defiantly recommend for any styles you fancy, thank you ladies :)

My mum and I have been going here for a few years now. I have had a few different stylists (Hannah, Emily and Izzy have been my favourites so far) and have found that they are all friendly and helpful. They listen carefully to what I want done and always do an excellent job. We moved to this salon as others were so expensive, however this is extremely reasonably priced, and does not compromise on quality. Always a very enjoyable experience :)

Joe at salon central in Colchester is absolutely amazing. We were apprehensive about taking my heavily autistic sister into a new salon as she hates having her hair touched and can scream during the appointment but joe made us all feel so at ease and comfortable when cutting her hair. Everyone in the salon is so lovely and friendly and have always been made to feel welcome

Recently had highlights and a cut by Lauren, and I'm so happy with my hair. After a bad experience at a different salon, I was quite nervous about getting my hair done again but Lauren listened to what I wanted and put me at ease whilst also checking that I was happy with it and telling me what she was doing throughout. Arrived early and got snotty comment from reception, then stylist said not ready not to me but to another stylist, was offered tea and coffee whilst I waited as they were short staffed and so i was delayed. Once I was seen Bradley was very good and I was happy with my Cut and the service he provided, was friendly and chatty. Have been contacted by Salon who have apologized and said they will look into the customer service I received when I arrived. So I have given them an additional star as they did contact me to give me an apology.
