The only place I have mine and my little boys hair cut, would 100% recommend this shop julie the owner is very helpfully and frindly as well as The staff being very friendly and always there to help you get the best cut, since covid they now clean work stations after every cut they do, the also have a walk in service on a Saturday as well as book in appointments but they will try to get though the customers as quickly as possible in the most professional way prices as reasonably priced couldn't recommend them enough!

Fantastic service. I was kindly greeted and was made to feel right at home immediately. I was engaged thoroughly in conversation, making the experience pleasant, and not awkward in the slightest, as is the case with a lot of hairdressers/barbers. I received one of the best, if not the best cut, and experience I've had in an shop, ever. It was a pleasure, and I'll certainly be returning. I’ve been coming here for 6 years. I won’t go anywhere else. OK - sometimes there is a bit of a wait to be seen but that just goes to show that plenty of other people like them as well. All the girls are lovely and friendly and I’ve never had a bad haircut from any of them (not that I’ve got much left to cut these days). Just on my way down there again now.

Probably one of the best barbers in Colchester. Good value, friendly staff who all have cut my hair to a high standard and I’m mega fussy. I get my hair cut every 2 weeks and won’t go anywhere else. I trust each member of staff to cut any style I ask for. Definitely recommend this barbers if you want a quality hair cut 👌🏻

Having found this gem of a barbershop about 2 years ago, i can honestly say id never consider going anywhere else, the whole team are friendly and engaging, there's always a great atmosphere too. Been to around 5 different hair dressers in Colchester.. and this was by far the best one. Gave me the style I wanted, good price, also loads of places to park. So if your looking for a hairdressers.. just give this one a try.. you'll come away happy.

Great place to get a haircut! Didn't even realise they did afro/Caribbean hair until I bothered to ask. The owners are incredibly friendly and they have probably one of the cleanest premises I've seen. Would definitely recommend

Hi Adam almanama I’m Colleen the barber who spoke to you yesterday, In response to your review of us I would just like to point out that in fact you did not “loose your spot” in the que yesterday because you went to your car to get your bank details you actually lost your spot because you left the shop to go to the shop to get a drink, which you did inform me you were doing, but I did say to you if you did leave and other people come in when you had gone then you would have to rejoin the que when you returned as we run a walk in service and can not hold places for people if they go... in which you said was “ok” . The reason I said no to you pushing back in the que was not because I’m rude and disrespectful it was because other people had come in and had sat down and were waiting their turn, as far as they were concerned they were before you... even though one of the customers said you could go before him there was still another man who said no as he had come in on his lunch break and was in a hurry as he had to get back to work..... ! And as for you having to wait for 4 hours to get a hair cut is a bit of an exaggeration being as this happend at 12pm and we open at 9.30 so had only been open 2.5 hours but at most you only waited an hour.....!!!! Sorry you feel you didn’t have a very welcoming experience but I feel that is more because you didn’t get your own way, and would really appreciate you giving a true and accurate account of what happened instead of making up lies and giving us a bad rating as this is not fair on the other girls that work there....!!! To avoid waiting in a que maybe next time you could make an appointment and bring a drink with you so you don’t have to leave the salon until after you have had your hair cut avoiding this situation happening again....?

Out of most of the barbers I've been to, i would say this one is the most convenient and great for fades! I recommend it for any sort of fade, they're staff are also very friendly.

this so called alex moon was embarrassing to be honest and acted like a spoilt 10 year old!! from everything i saw and heard the haircut this idiot got was exactly what he asked for and the lady even explained his hair was to short but he insisted...i couldnt see the photo of the haircut he actually wanted but his hair cut looked fine to me and the response he got from the lady cutting his hair was less than i would of given as he was like a rude child that was just told no to a toy! ive been getting my haircut for almost 10 years at this shop and all the staff are very polite and helpful and ill continiue getting my hair cut here and hopfully see less rude spoilt brats with no manners..i am shocked that this early 20's moron could actually write such tosh to what actually happened and felt i had to respond.......by the way thanks for my haircut it was perfect as always...
