L. Q.Been coming here for a year. Always seen to quite swiftly, the lads who cut the hair are always polite. Prices are very reasonable and never had a bad haircut. I've moved house since I've started coming here and there are barbers much closer to me now but still go back there as they always do a good job

S. D.I've been coming here for a while and the service has been good. Today however, the barber (skinny, black hair, beard and chain) gave my 14 year old son a wonky hair cut. I was waiting in the car with my autistic son but returned straight away. This barber tried to minimise the obvious mistake and also accused me of just trying to get money. He also said that I should have waited for my usual barber. He was calm but rude and dismissive even though the evidence was there. There was no apology or anything.
My brother returned there afterwards to talk about it as I had to leave due to his attitude and the fact I had to force my youngest son in there. The barber lied and said I was shouting in the shop in front of customers (not true, I have an audio recording of the whole conversation.) I did not raise my voice even once and was conscious of the fact that a younger child and customers were also there. My brother got an instant apology, but myself as a long term customer, just had accusations and rudeness.
There is a short guy there who made a mistake with my sons hair once. I returned, he apoligised and adjusted it so that it was even. There was no attitude just good customer service. The issue was sorted and never happened again. My experience today was a shock.
There is a barber there who is excellent. He normally works at the seat straight ahead to the left as you walk in. He does really good hair cuts and has been great with both of my kids everytime we have been there.
I have given this place 3 stars due to my previous experience and how good other barbers have been with both of my children. I understand that mistakes happen and that the quality of haircuts can vary, however customer service needs to be worked on in his case.
