Went here as I was sick of getting bad cuts around my area, never exactly what I asked for, so decided to pay a little extra and try this shop. Works on a pre booking system which is great. You can choose which barber you want and see all their free appointments prior to booking. I booked with Liam. Extremely friendly and helpful, the first time I have had a barber discuss what I wanted doing and give me advice on how best to achieve it, instead of just trying to rush me out the door. All the lads were very chilled and made a great atmosphere. Liam gave me a great haircut, exactly what I asked for. Great barber shop. I will definitely be making this my regular place.

It's half an hour out of your day where you can unwind and have a laugh or a chat. The staff are always friendly and help to build a warming and comfortable environment that you feel welcome in. I also have to mention the awesome selection of music! As for the haircuts, they really are top notch. Paul is superb - he'll work with your ideas or give advice where needed and leave you with a quality cut that never feels rushed. Best Barbers in the region. Paul & the team are incredibly friendly & will style your hair however you fancy and you can have a good chat with them whilst they do it. Great design in the interior which the kids (and adults) will love. Parking can be tight out front but there is plenty of space further along or in neighbouring streets. Brilliant haircuts tailored to you. Beard services using all the traditional methods are also available. There is also a sunbed and plenty of products for styling hair, oiling your beard etc. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

First hair cut with Paul and I can honestly say from the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Had a few dodgy haircuts since moving to the area and Paul listened to what had happened and what I wanted. Talked through what he intended to do and I felt relaxed in his his capable hands. He then asked about my beard as this had been a little butchered previously and Paul was happy to rectify however with my OCD about perfection he suggested Tom clean it up and get it back looking on point. What can I say I left their shop feeling top notch I'm already booked back in with them. I can highly recommend their attention to detail and honesty. I’m autistic and having my hair cut is ordinarily a terrifying experience. I would leave it as long as I possibly could before going, and often I just couldn’t face it so would just buzz cut my whole head. I hated doing this because I do not suit a buzz cut! I tried various places and either they butchered my hair or made me feel so uncomfortable I stopped going. Then I happened to stumble across a promo video of Paul, the owner. He didn’t talk about haircuts, he didn’t talk about styles, but he talked about how important the atmosphere was for him. How he saw it not just as a place to get your hair cut, but as a place to be supported and listened to. I immediately booked. I arrived for my appointment an hour early because I was so anxious about being late (I live 40 minutes drive away) and sat in the car stressing and stewing over the hair cut. When my appointment came I walked in the door and every inch of that anxiety disappeared. Walking in the door at rumrazor is like walking into the door of a friends house you’ve known most of your life. You know the kind of house where you don’t need to knock. It’s literally like that. I was booked in with Paul and he immediately showed me to my seat and spent time discussing my hair and what I wanted. And the conversation flowed so easily from there. Paul, and all the lads at Rumrazor don’t just ask what you are doing at the weekend in an effort to be polite, the ask you how you are and show genuine care for you. This is what sets this place apart. I will be a lifetime customer of Rumrazor not just because of the above, but also because they are very good at cutting hair too.

The fact they’re always booked up tells it’s own story, great atmosphere, some questionable tunes and proper skin fades! Keep up the good work lads.

I first visited Rum Razor last year after a recommendation from a friend, and don't go anywhere else now. It's a great barber shop. I don't have 'easy hair' and Paul listened to what I said, and took time to get things right. He's passionate about giving a great service, and everyone is very friendly. You can see from the photos that the shop itself has a fantastic design and atmosphere. The booking system is brilliant too - easy to register and use - you can look online and take your time to pick the day and time that is best for you. Highly recommended.
